Bagel Choices

Craving a bagel and remember there was this place 2 blocks away. Very extensive menu with so many options. I just wanted a bagel with cream cheese. Went with the green chili bagel with a smear and ice tea. Bagel was okay and tea. Unfortunately the ice tea tasted like made in coffee pot not fresh tea. $10.00 bill there are so many other choices for quick breakfast bite. Service was great no drive thru which will hurt them in the long run.

If I can give this place, no stars I would. If I place a mobile to go order my expectation is that when I get to the location, my order is ready. However, in this instance with this particular location that was not the case. I placed the order 20 minutes before arriving at the location. Once I get there, I'm told that they had no idea I had an order, they were not prepared because the butter that I requested was frozen, and not only did I have to wait 15 extra minutes for my order but the bagel was not toasted and they put a mountain of butter on it. The disappointing part was the no apology for the wait. I was met with an excuse of the system didn't show an order although I showed them my cell phone that had the order number time and date the order was placed. No stars in two thumbs down!

Me and my boyfriend love it here! We always order ahead, but normally costumer service is amazing and fast. The food is great! They've never gotten my order wrong so I'm happy with that.

The typical eistein bagel shop. They have coffee and every bagel. The bagel pizza is great option to try!

Entering feels like being welcomed into somebody's home, and the interior matches this spirit - it's fit with leather chairs, wooden tables, and soft throw pillows. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick, adding to the already welcoming ambience. As for the coffee, I always order house drip or pour over (unless the location specializes in matcha). The roast is on the lighter side, perfect for a morning cup. The mouthfeel is nice and the flavor doesn't linger excessively. I wouldn't say the coffee was exceptionally complex, but that didn't detract from the experience. I also noticed the pastries they source from local favorites like Bresnan Bread & Pastry and others - an excellent touch. Overall, I enjoyed my quick stop into Staycation and am happy to have checked it out as their permanent close from this location will be later this month. I will be looking forward to what this team does next.

This is a nice space with ample room to study, hang out with friends, and they even have an outdoor section with hammocks and seating. They have tons of parking outside too! The barista at the front was very kind and suggested I try the Dulce de Leche latte as it was their best seller. It was great and the cinnamon provided the perfect balance of sweetness. Overall, such a cute spot with good vibes. Wish they were staying :(

Deli News never disappoints. This lunch was next level -- a piled-high corned beef sandwich topped…read morewith a perfectly cooked egg. Cut into it and that runny yolk pours right over the warm corned beef, adding an extra layer of rich, creamy goodness. Messy in exactly the right way. We also had the liver pâté and egg salad, along with the classic pickles and crunchy bagel chips. Everything tasted fresh, generous, and exactly like a great old-school deli meal should. There are plenty of places to get a sandwich in Dallas, but when it comes to this kind of deli food, Deli News is hard to beat. Great portions, great flavors, and food that makes you want to come back before you've even finished lunch. That corned beef, egg, and runny yolk combination alone is worth the trip. Cannot beat it anywhere in Dallas.

First, the spot is actually really cozy and has a well-maintained neighborhood vibe. It's self-seating so we picked a spot near the huge flatscreen so we could also watch a little television. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu is HUGE, so maybe study it a bit to cut down on decision fatigue. I was initially torn between a breakfast plate and the cheese blintzes. I figured, why not go with the blintzes, because you don't really see as an option much these days. I also got a side of cherry compote and orange juice. The orange juice was nice and pulpy. As for the cheese blintzes and the cherry compote- I think I could've done without it- it made it too sweet. But, it was served in the side, so iI just didn't eat much of it. The blintzes themselves were very good and definitely had a very gratifying texture. Slightly sweet on their own, but not too much. My husband had the franks and beans. I didn't try them, but I did snag a French fry and it was very good- golden and perfectly crispy with a piping hot soft center. Prices were a bit steep, but this is a neighborhood restaurant and iI think it's always good to support locally when you can. Goodness knows, prices for goods is high and labor is not cheap. Overall, I would definitely consider coming here again, but this time I would like to try one of their breakfast plates to get a better baseline.

We first ordered some coffee an Americano and a Drip. They both tasted great the Drip was warm enough, though perhaps should have requested they pre-heat the cup : ) Believe they use Addison Coffee Roasters, a local coffee roaster whose coffee we also buy for our home use. We had the East Coaster and the eggs with potatoes. The East Coaster is a toasted bagel (your choice of bagel) with in-house cured salmon and all the fixins. For the eggs & potatoes, I subbed a croissant for the toast for an upcharge. Everything was delicious. I was a little worried that the croissant may not be up to par, but it was great. Highly recommend this place. Including tip we spent a tad over fifty bucks but it was worth it. By the time we were finished, it had filled up nicely. The Market is still an excellent place for breakfast & brunch. Highly recommended.
