I've been here 3 times in the last month, then once at least a couple of years ago. Before that, it had been 20 years...and it's wonderful. It's a pricey burger, compared to McDonalds, Wendy's or Whataburger, but it tastes better than all of them combined. This will be my go to for a burger in this area. I couldn't remember the last time I had been to Burger Street, so I stopped by on the way home to pick up dinner for the family. The taste was okay, but I paid extra to be sure my chili burger was messy and it didn't look like any extra was added and could have used a lot more chili still! If you are getting a chili burger, then I suggest getting a bowl of chili on the side and just ordering the cheese burger. I also ordered what I thought was called the bacon bacon cheeseburger...it had one piece of bacon on it! I went through the drive thru and ordered a chili cheese hotdog combo without onions because I'm allergic to onions. I got halfway halfway back to my job and smelled onions so I checked my order and observed onions on my hotdog. Since I had to get back to work I called the number on my receipt to inform them on the issue. The call taker from corporate first instructed me to hold on to the food until the next day and return it for an exchange. Why would I keep some smelly onions that I'm allergic to for an entire 24 hours? Then the call taker took my information and said the manager from that restaurant would return my call. This place should be the Burger of Texas! I love their burgers. They also have chili, which I believe must be available to even be considered a Texas Burger! The chili Cheese Tater Tots are good too. The shakes are always good as well. I enjoy the chocolate shake. I'll also point out that every time I order them on UberEats, the order is always correct, the bag is sealed shut and the drinks have a seal sticker on them. It blows my mind that their are restaurants that spend Zero dollars and concern for the safety of your food. I only order Uber delivery from places that I know seal their food. I'm always picky about my burgers, so when my coworker suggested this place for lunch I thought I would keep an open mind and give it a try. Tiny restaurant, not too much parking around, but seems like most of their business is through the drive through. Inside is small but there are about four or five tables in there. They also have an outdoor seating area around the back. There are quite a few burger and hot dog selections on the menu. My coworker was VERY SPECIFIC in what she did/did not want on her burger, and the lady taking her order was very patient and she got it right! I just got a classic cheese burger with everything but the pickles. Service was prompt. You could hear the burgers sizzling on the grill, and one of the ladies brought our order out shortly after. So the burger was HUGE! With fresh looking lettuce, tomato, red onions, and my other condiments. Actually had a good flavor but I could not finish it all! I came here based on the review of another Yelper. I had the Double Chesseburger Combo with the shake upgrade. For $13 I was stuffed! The burger had good flavor. I liked the vegetables included (onion, pickle, lettuce). They asked if I wanted everything on it and I said "Sure!". I am not a huge fan of mayonnaise and they spackle it on there. I'm more of a light mayo and light mustard as I have gotten older, but no fault on the restaurant. I did the drive thru, however there was no speaker so I Googled and called it in. I did wait about 12-15 minutes with only one car in front of me (which was fine because my food was fresh). I was hoping the fries would be lighter. They are curly fries, but they didn't really stand out. However, the large chocolate shake was delicious and put me in a good spot to sleep the rest of the night away. Considering the fact that they leave some very young people running the place, I think they're doing a really good job! Granted they could stand a corse on how to treat/speak to customers (any customer) but so could anyone else their age working in the fast food industry! On 5/1/20, I pulled up to no line at the drive-thru, and waited, and waited. After about 2 minutes, I called the location and asked if they were open. I was really looking forward to a blast from the past at Burger Street. There was a line in the drive thru but that's a good thing right? We pulled up and my husband gave the order: Deluxe Burger with cheese plus extra pickles; Deluxe Burger NO cheese NO tomatoes and NO ketchup. that was an experience like no other. when I finished this burger, I think I came. simply divine.

If you want a fast burger they are the place to go. But if you want something that costs a decent price for the quality you're getting, then this is not the place to go. The location was kind of grungy, but it had it's charms. The kid at the counter completely rocked at his job (which is the only reason this place got three stars)! the food came quickly but at the first bite I regretted going there. I got a weird film feeling in my mouth and the bun had a bizarre taste to it. The fries were alright and the soda was... well.. soda. It was food and it served its purpose.. but I can pretty much guarantee that I won't be eating there again. read more

This is a tiny tiny burger joint that does most of its business in the drive-thru. My wife and I stopped in before a movie at Alamo Draft House.
