Five people were behind the counter today making sandwiches. No one smiled. Amazing. The worst part was I ordered a veggie sandwich and the woman slicing the cheese had just removed a block of ham and didn't wipe it off before slicing the cheese. I looked online to make a complaint directly to the store, but I didn't find, so that's why I'm on Yelp. This was the first time I ordered online and I was happy that I could just walk in during a busy lunchtime and pick up my order. Unfortunately I learned that when you are not there in person when they make your sandwich you may not like what you get. In making my online order I asked for just a little mustard - but what I got was a sandwich that had SO much mustard I couldn't finish it. Even the onions turned yellow. If I had been there when they made the sandwich I would have seen this and asked for a redo. I've been to this location a few times now. Because of it's location, it can get pretty busy and the line can sometimes stretch to the door. And because it's a busier location I think it has an affect on the way staff interacts with the customer. No conversation, very little eye contact. They're not rude but they don't seem as happy that you're there. They're probably more focused on getting the long line to disappear. I normally order a regular wheat 9. I'm not sure what the name of the sandwich is because I always order by the number. What I love about Jersey Mike's is that they slice their meats and cheese when you order. You have 3 options on sizes and I think 4 options on the type of bread. They have a lot of sandwiches to choose from and even have hot sandwiches like cheesesteaks. I've never ordered a hot sandwich but they have a grill where they cook the meat as you order it. Overall it's a good sandwich shop. Jersey Mike's make a great sammie! You walk up to the counter (assuming you found a parking spot), and give 'em your order. They pull all the meats and cheeses from behind the deli case and slice it in front of you, like at the grocery store. You know it's fresh! And the bread is fresh too, in all my experiences here. The regular size is plenty for me, though I've seen grown men eat the huge ones! I like mine Mike's way with all the usual fixins! Gotta have the lettuce, toms, onions, s&p, o&v, mayo and throw on some banana peppers and i'm good to go. If you order a hot sub they make it in the back and you should skip all the fixins (hot lettuce, eww!) I'm particularly fond of the Reuben and the cheesesteak. Ooh that gooey cheesy goodness! Yum! And of course, they offer the chips and drink combos as most sandwich shops. The main thing lacking is the character... it's just like any other sub shop. read more

I've tried other sammies as well (philly cheesesteak w/chipolte sauce; roast beef) but always come back to #7. I turned my friend onto this place and it became his fav too. After having a sub at Jersey Mike's I simply cannot fathom going to Subway or Quiznos ever again. You have to try this place! BTW: I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because it is a sandwich shop. 5 stars are, in my book, reserved for exceptional restaurants. I don't believe in grade inflation. Went to Jersey Mike's in Brimfield Ohio for the first time to try their Philly Steak and Cheese and was disappointed. Very little cheese and peppers, the sandwich was kind of dry with not much meat. Been coming to this place since the first day they opened. It was great then and it's awesome now. One of the things that sets them aside from other shops is the freshness of the meat. They don't cut a whole bunch meat and just have it sit around till someone orders it. They wait till you order a sandwich and cut the meat fresh right then and there. My son and I do like the sandwiches at Jersey Mike's, particularly the #43, chipotle cheese steak with no onions or peppers, with mushrooms added. Paid $12.38 for that one sandwich twice now this month with a drink, and that is not a cheap sandwich lunch. Both times got it with no chipotle mayo, and the last time I had no mushrooms at all, and this time had just a couple, and I had to open my sandwich up to really search for those! But they were in there! lol But the chipotle mayo is what gives this sandwich the kick!!! Please Jersey Mike, add it back into the #43!! :( I did call the shop today and they were very nice and kind enough to offer us a replacement sub, but with it raining, and our lunch hour was almost over so we just ate this one the way it was and declined a replacement.
