They are going to love it!! There's no onion or garlic so it will be easily digestible for them. I walked away from there with 8 sticks, broths and lard. Ohhhhhh, the jalapeño broth is soooo good too. And nice little kick on the back end. I can't wait to try each of items I bought! Joanne is a wealth of information and so friendly and interesting. It's incredibly easy to miss--I've apparently been walking and driving past it for the last eight months without ever noticing it. One of the highlights is the onsite kitchen, where the staff turns out a great selection of ready-to-eat meals and frozen options. Perfect for a quick lunch, an easy family dinner, or even catering a small gathering. They also have a coffee station, wine, and both indoor and outdoor seating if you want to linger awhile, catch up with a friend, or get a little work done. A hidden gem that I'm glad I finally discovered.

I decided we should stop in for an afternoon latte, that would energize our holiday shopping to follow. We perused the shop for bit. They had TONS of ready made meals, so many that I felt a bit overwhelmed. I'm not typically a ready made meal type girl since I cook and bake most everything from scratch but I will say - the amount of them sort of through me off. I frequent Eatzi's, Central Market and Trader Joes which all provide similar options but I think not viewing them so stock piled in refrigerators helps, the display of them just screamed "pre made". Not sure if that makes any sense but to me, it felt off putting. I ordered a teddy graham oat latte and two fresh baked cookies, a chocolate chip and pb which were very tasty. I think for me, this is a nice option for non pre packaged food. The fresh stuff on the spot is more my jam.
