Love their affordable floral selection. It keeps me coming back!
Lex B.

I was first introduced to Central Market by a friend who lived in the area (I live about 25 minutes away so I would of never known about this store) As a person who enjoys cooking, grilling, flowers, and is a huge foodie, I absolutely LOVE this store! I picked up fresh lobster tail for a reasonable price and was very impressed when the deli man asked if I wanted it on ice! Of course since I live a little ways out. This is an elevated grocery store with so much unique finds you won't see at any other grocery store (quail egg's & fresh octopus!) Another plus I love (and the reason I'll frequent more often) is their $1 roses! I love fresh flowers at home so I'll be returning to make my own bouquet. Plus the customer service is great too! So many staff happy and willing to help.

Wow, what a great day shopping at CM. Where this Central Market is Not the closest to my home, the ONLY reason I came here yesterday was because at this location, CM has Lone Star Knife Sharpening every Friday from 12-4:00. Casey who owns Lone Star knows his craft and does it well. And at a fare price too. I have had other companies try to sharpen my Chef knives, but no one does it so professionally like Casey. And just in time for the Holiday cooking!!! Casey has sharpened my knives for 10 years now. I have seen him do miracle things to knives that have lost the tip or their edge. Swing by Lover's Central Market and have Lone Star sharpen your knives while you do some weekend grocery shopping. Tell Casey, Carmen sent you! oxo

Such a cool grocery store with nearly anything you could want: fresh pressed juice, produce, house made desserts, a stellar cheese selection, bulk foods and spices (bring your own reusable jar to fill!), olive bar, and so much more. My *only* qualm is that if you're there first thing in the morning, it can be a challenge to get anything out of the packed ice. Looking forward to future visits.

Foodies everywhere, rejoice! If you're in Dallas and haven't explored Central Market yet, you're missing out on a culinary adventure. This isn't your average grocery store, nope...it's a haven for those who appreciate quality, variety, and international offerings. Is it one of my favorite things about relocating to Dallas? Yep, LOL! From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded with a vibrant selection of fresh produce, herbs, and pressed juices. Turn a few corners and the butcher case and seafood section rivals any specialty market. Next, the bakery tempts you with fresh breads and pastries, while the cheese section offers an impressive array of options. What truly sets Central Market apart is its commitment to every type of cook (or non-cook) alike. You'll find spices, nut butters, candies, coffee, tea, ice cream, to unique condiments--that make cooking an adventure. Oh, and let's not forget the wine and craft beer offerings (drink while you shop, ;-) Don't feel like cooking...check out the prepared foods area for a quick "grab and go". Or, get your scoop of gelato for a taste of Italy. Their flower section is also quite nice, just in case you need that last minute bouquet. On top of that, the customer service has always been top notch during my visits. Seriously, what more do you need in a grocery "not grocery" store? And, did I mention how clean and organized everything looks??? Like wow...I just might be in love, LOL. Central Market is a destination for food enthusiasts and it's my FAV. Happy Shopping and even Happier Eating!

My last update was 2021 but I've been here many times since then. I don't like this store as much as the Plano store, however,it gets the job done. It seems they've recommitted to a full blown " upscale" grocer. For awhile I was wondering if they valued the customer. The one thing that stood out today was,I helped bag my own groceries. While waiting in line I noticed most customers bagging their own. Two reasons this bothers me. 1) I come here and pay premium prices because I don't like to bag 2) the new in town HEB stores( of which own CM) are bagging for you? I'm not so sure the new " Regular" HEB doesn't satisfy my needs just as well as Central Market. I guess only time will tell. For today I have ingredients for a great seafood dinner so I'm happy. But,I've got my eye on you Central Market!

One of the best spots to get your freshest foods for all the events! This is a cooks friendly space. The displays are an art form of themselves! They bring produce, flowers and proteins to life! All the aisles have so many traditional and unique options for daily dinners to big hosted party's. The pastries are also an event in and of themselves! The weekly rose sale is one of my personal favorites!

As always the products in the store are top notch. I have always loved the atmosphere of the store. I have shopped here over 20 years...I met the manager there today..I may be misspelling his name but I believe it was Molinas. He happened to be on an isle when I was asking another associate for some gelatin sheets...the employee said "no sir, we don't carry those" the manager then stepped up and said hang on for a minute. He said I will find you in the store...I continued to shop as I was leaving the bulk spices section the manager came around the corner with a few sheets for me. He said, "I know that my bakery uses them in their day to day production, so I went and got you some!" He got me some and charged me a fair price for them...if I wasn't already, he won a customer for life. Thank you sir for going above and beyond for a customer..that is rare in this day and time. I stopped and the deli to pick me up some delicious luncheon meats. Walked out of the store drove down the street and had to pull over on the side of the road to write this...Thank you for showing me that some companies still care about their customers. Marlon C

Variety and freshness in produce has been poor this year. Trying to ask most employee's anything is like pulling teeth. They seem inconvenienced like you offended them, Especially in the meat department. I called to reserve some short ribs. Man on the phone told me that he did not need to take my order because we had more than enough. When I showed up, they said they were all gone and all they had were the Dino ribs. I mentioned that there were not much meat on those ribs and he informed me that the bone is bigger on that end so there's less meat and that the next day they would be getting short ribs in so I put in an order. I called to see if the order was filled. They said yes come pick it up whenever you're ready. I went in and the Dino ribs that had been there from the day before is what they cut down a short ribs for me. There was literally about a quarter inch of meat on the bone no way I could use this as a center of a plate, dinner rib. They could've called and let me know that they didn't get the order of short ribs, but instead they tried to pass off this inferior product on me and hope I wouldn't know the difference.(I left a picture below of what they were trying to sell me as short rib.) out of the 16 that I ordered there was only about four of them that were decent. I talked to the girl in the Meat department. She said they can never really tell what's coming in so I had her put a new order in for me. When I was telling her about this, the other man behind the counter was scowling at me with that thousand yard stare. Like I offended someone in his family. I went and spoke with a manager about my concern for getting the product that I needed. And that I had done this four days early that way I could really make sure that I had the product. He passed me along to the meat manager. The meat manager came and listened to what I told him and gave me a bunch of excuses of why they couldn't get good product in and that they didn't have any control. Then he promised me that the following day he would make this right and that they would make sure that I had my order. The following day I got a phone call telling me that they could not get my order. Luckily, I had already had an intuition that they were going to let me down, ( this was not my first experience with being let down by this meat department ) and I went to a real butcher. "Deep cuts" in Richardson. They were able to get me what I needed within 10 minutes and it wasn't even butchered it as of yet. I am sad to say that I've seen this Central Market go downhill in over the past couple years, in service and quality and variety. Used to be able to buy hangers steak they don't carry it anymore, I was able to get veal bones there cannot get them anymore. And when you ask for something that they don't have the people working behind the meat counter are more than happy to tell you that they can't get it for you. They seriously look like War torn soldiers that have no life in their eyes anymore. It used to be you were going in there and people in grocery would ask you if you need help now they just put their head down and hope you don't say anything to them. I don't know if this store went through a new management, but it used to be a really great place to shop and now I fret every time I know I have to go in there. I shopped there because my clients want me to, but even they say they don't like going to the store anymore. I'm much rather shop at the one on Midway people there are way better. I have seen the big guns( corporate )in here, standing around staring at counters and displays and talking to each other. And they won't say anything to you either. You can tell the culture here is horrible place to work. Everybody here looks miserable. Nobody wants to go out of their way at all to help the customer. Actually, there's been one lady that was in the cheese department who helped me. I don't remember her name. She spoke broken English, but she went and grated some cheese that they were out of for me and did it with a smile.

Love this place! Tons of options in any department. Fish selection and meat selection is awesome. Must try the Love Dip!

Delicious grilled cheese panini is always on my mind from the cafe! I add roasted red peppers this time. My niece received the spicy Turkey panini and giving continuously praise about her panini. Awesome sandwiches! Counter Service was wonderful as usual. After we ordered paninis we decided to go shop the market for a few additional items for dinner. Of course we had to visit the heavenly bakery. Always happy to buy fresh organic produce!

Butter tortillas, feta cheese, French bread, chocolate pastries, more various cheeses, Carmel chocolates, etc

HOW IS THE Smoked turkey from Tyler TX?

Excellent. Tender and flavorful.

Does Central Market sell organ meats? I make my own pet food snd can't seem to find it anywhere?

I have not seen them in the display but since they butcher their meats you could certainly ask at the meat counter.

The staff here is a little annoying at times, since they're doing a "donate to a local student scholarship drive", and the cashiers guilt-trip you (and they're fairly persistent) into donating. And when you do contribute, they broadcast it throughout the store. I get it's for a good cause, and I hate to be "that guy", but it is a little irritating after a while. On the plus side, the self-checkout attendants are usually fairly helpful and attentive, so that's good. The last time I wanted to check out, all of the registers were closed, so the self-checkout line was over a dozen people/carts long (thankfully two rows of self-checkout made the line dwindle fairly quickly). Another two lanes of self-checkout were opened at the other end of the store, but there were at least 3-4 attendants at the self-checkout lanes, so I'm curious as to why nobody was manning the actual registers. Finally, as I was leaving, two of the staff were having a casual non-work conversation, blocking the exit, so I asked them politely to move for my cart. They did so, but muttered under their breath for me to use the other exit. It was rather rude, since not only is that not appropriate customer service, but my car was parked at the other end of the parking lot, and the exit was right in front of me, which they were blocking. Overall, Krogers itself is great. You can probably find whatever you're looking for there, even if it might not be food, and for reasonable prices. But the staff and service don't always make your shopping experience a positive one.

Trader Joe's has become our go-to neighborhood spot, literally right down the road from the house,…read moreand every time I walk in it feels like I'm stepping into a place that actually cares about people. I stopped in to grab a few bunches so I could build my partner a custom bouquet at home -- roses, winter peonies, and lilies that were all fresh, full, and priced better than anywhere else around here. The customer service at this location is phenomenal. The lady at the register saw the flowers and asked what I was making. When I told her I was building a bouquet myself for my partner, she lit up and said, "That's how you do it." Little moments like that just make the experience feel personal. Trader Joe's employees always bring good energy, and it shows. I took everything home, trimmed the stems, mixed the colors, and built the bouquet with my own hands. The roses brought the romance, the winter peonies added that soft winter elegance, and the lilies tied the whole thing together like a final touch only she would notice. While I was there I also grabbed steaks to cook her dinner later that night. Between the flowers and the meal, Trader Joe's basically gave me everything I needed to make the whole evening special without running all over town. When I handed her the bouquet and then served dinner, the look on her face made the effort worth it. Trader Joe's helped me turn a simple idea into a real moment -- thoughtful, genuine, and meaningful. Five stars for fresh florals, quality steaks, and customer service that actually makes you feel seen. This is why our local store stays our favorite.
