Epic total fail. All the sandwiches were not assembled with any care and looked thrown together. The jerk chicken was all over the inside of the container. Same with the turkey & dressing. This is our second time in 2 days ordering the large turkey & dressing sandwich. The last one was at the McDermott location in Allen tx and it was stunning. This one was really a horrible disappointment. The sandwich was thrown together with the box saturated and mushy. The turkey looked hack with an axe rather than carved. Almost no cranberry sauce. The amount of turkey was disappointing and the taste was not good this time. The bread was barely if at all toasted. Tossed the sandwich. Every sandwich in this order was thrown together and a total mess and hard to handle. We really won't be back to this location ever again. So hate the waste of time and money. I went to Firehouse subs for the first time last Friday. I placed my order on the mobile app which was easy enough. I get to the place and the staff was friendly & let me know they were working on my order. Half way home I look in the bag and realized they gave me medium subs when I ordered larges. I go ahead and address the situation with customer service through the app. Once I get home I decided to make the best of the situation, as I start to eat I noticed the sandwiches were also not correct. I ordered an Italian & a club sandwhich what I got was something else. Fast forward almost a week later customer service tells me there's nothing they can do. I decided to come back for another try today but fearful I would run into the pushy manager from many times past. Luckily, he wasn't there today so I felt comfortable placing my order, as bizzare as that sounds. He reminds me of the soup guy from Seinfeld. Anyways, I ordered a medium, build your own corned beef sandwich with tomato, onion, lettuce, mayo and mustard. It tasted fantastic and the bread was delicious. I really enjoy all the sauces they have and wish I could buy a small bottle of their sauce as well as the Backdraft sauce. Great food guys! read more

The Firemen founders know their way around heat. They've deconstructed the sub sandwich and applied the best methods and good ingredients for a very good sandwich. Steaming is a great way to heat the meat for most sandwiches. They are good about putting on requested extras. You can pick whatever size drink you want. They are all the same price. We called them twice and he said he was on his way or 'just around the corner'. Food was not delivered until after 1pm. Note: they are 3 miles from my office. When he FINALLY arrived, the owner/general manager threw the bags at me. Order was missing lemonade, pickles and tomatoes. The sandwiches were thrown together and were not good at all. I absolutely love firehouse butttt, this location customer service terrible. I've gone here on multiple occasions and I'm never greeted. The first tree times I charged it to the game but todays experience will have be never going to the location again. I asked to simply sub Turkey for salami as I do every time I order a Italian sub. The lady at the register was mad rude and said it couldn't be done. Confused, I told her I get it done all the time at other locations with no problem. Literally the day before I got it done at the Spring location and had no issue. She then states it couldn't be done on the promotion. I asked what promotion because I wasn't there for the promotion-- I just wanted Turkey instead of salami. I also explained I'd pay whatever additional cost but like I said, never had this issue. Two other coworkers rudely said it couldn't be done "in the system" .. yet I literally was in Spring,tx the day before and had no issue. Then she states they can add extra of what's on there but not Turkey.. like what difference does adding Turkey vs extra of what's on there. I went here for lunch and got the Large Meatball $8.69. The bread was good, I liked the seasoning on it and the texture. The amount you get for the price is alright. The meatballs were just okay and the sandwich would have been better if it was evenly spread out. I would go back to try some other options but not real high on my priority list. read more

First time having sub sandwiches founded by firemen. I love sub sandwiches or sandwiches period. Im weird. I got their Chicken Breast & Provolone. Boy, was it huge! Forget Quiznos or Subway or Jimmy Johns! If this is their regular then they arent lying, it is sandwiches for men! Then chicken breast were thickly cut and the cheese was nicely loaded. Firehouse Subs is my always my go-to sub place, tonight tho we experienced the worse customer service EVER at this location. Rao (who he said was the "manager") was extremely rude, after I called and told him we only received 1 sandwich, when we placed 2. He was quick to start raising his voice and to tell him the truth, if we dropped one or did something to the other sandwhich. To say the least, to be manager, he should not be talking to his customers with that tone. He never tried to fix my problem and kept raising his voice even louder when I still kept my cool. Decided to get grab a bite to eat after getting my hair cut. I just recently moved to Texas, so I've never been to a Firehouse Subs before. I'm definitely glad I gave it a shot! My wife and I went in and it was empty. We were the only customers in at the time. My wife and I decided to share a large "Engineer" sub. This sandwich had turkey breast, sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, and deli mustard. The gentleman who served us was awesome. Our sandwich was made quickly and he brought it to our table when it was done. The sandwich was BIG! Not only was it long, but it was stacked high. A large is the perfect size to share between two adults. It's a lot bigger than what you would get at Subway or Quizno subs and was very tasty. So I went back a few weeks after my previous 1 star review and was confronted by the same person who gave me my food the last time. She asked a few time, as I was being coy, trying to find out if I was the same person who had the issue last time. I eventually agreed and was met with apology and some free cookies and some chips. Apology accepted and thank you for the cookies. I'd prefer that we could have come to a resolution the first time, but everyone makes mistakes. I would like to point out, however, that this location has a habit of not being very good at added ingredients on subs. This past time (the free cookie time), the last time I went to the store (the lost chili time), and once again around that time frame (uber-eats order time) they weren't able to put onions on my New York Steamer as requested. It's great when they mess it up on a Uber-Eats meal as I get it for free, but coming into the store... I'm just tired of complaining. I also had a hard time placing my order, as there were numerous misunderstandings between me and the order-taker. It wasn't like it's a language barrier or something, this person just couldn't seem to remember anything about my order except for the one button he was pressing at that exact moment. Yes, I know everything that I want so when you asked what I wanted I gave you my whole order (medium hook n' ladder on wheat fully involved, large new york steamer on wheat add onion, cup of chilli). No, I don't expect you to remember all of that (although you really should be able to). But to have to ask me about my bread choice and size and type of sandwitch and not be able to remember to put onions on it after telling you 3 times... just argh! I asked the person who put the bag on the counter if this was everything and she responded "Yes." I drive home and find out that we're missing the chili. I return to the store, with my bag of subs in my arms, when the person who put out my subs asked if I was back for my chili. She gets my chili and tells me that I left it on the counter behind the large bag because "we never put chili in the big bags." Except for the last two times that I got chili to go, apparently. Also, I'm not entirely sure how a tall skinny bag was supposed to hide behind the sub-bag which was placed on the counter flat, like a pizza box. At any rate, I asked have my subs re-made since they've been back and forth in a car ride and I wanted hot subs, not lukewarm subs, and clearly there was some sort of issue with me asking if "this is everything" and a mysterious hiding bag of chili. The manager, I presume, comes over and says re-making two subs would be "tough" and it depends on how old they are and that since they're only like 15 minutes old that he doesn't think I should get a new sub. Great hot subs that are fresh, seasoned, made to order, neat, and oh so yummy! I'll probably never willing go to subway again if there is a Firehouse sub in the area. I mean, subway can't compare. The price is a bit higher than competitors, like subway/Jimmy Johns, but you pay for quality so I don't mind. I ordered the large Italian (i was hungry + I heard the small and medium were small for the price. So Go big or go home!) It was fantastic and full of flavor! Best thing I like about it and Firehouse sub in general is that they are not stingy with their meat. They pack it on to create a yummy sandwich built for a fireman or hungry woman. I also love how neat the subs are made and packaged. Can't stand a messy sandwich that falls apart while eating it- yuck. I've only been to the Irving location on Beltline so I can't speak for all Firehouse sub locations, but the staff here are really nice! Restaurant is clean and so is the bathroom. Great menu option so I'll definitely be back to explore other yummy-looking subs! read more

I really want to write an excellent review on the customer service that I received as it is worthy of mention. I walked in carrying my daughter who is 10 months old and a handful and if I wasn't starving like I was I would have just drove home and fixed lunch. Anyway the gentleman that took my order made several suggestions that made my ordering experience a no-brainer and as hungry and busy as I was with my daughter this was a huge relief. After my order was completed I went to sit down with my daughter on my lap and when he brought my sandwich to me he also offered to get me a high chair for her which was awesome because I was getting tired by this point. He really went out of his way to make my eat in experience a very enjoyable one. I will definitely come back! read more

First of all, I hardly ever write reviews, but I just HAD to write this one. A competitor had let me down on an important cater order, and at the last minute, I called Jamie at Firehouse Beltline. I explained I needed a rush cater order for the NEXT DAY, even though I was calling at 6:30pm the evening before...Jamie said no problem, got store manager Kim on the phone with me, and worked it out for delivery, exactly as I needed. The feedback from the delivery was extremely positive and everyone enjoyed what I had them send. Without Kim and Jamie, my mission would have been a failure.
