Five stars all around. Ties as my favorite bagel place in Dallas area. The interior dining is very small- it's more of a to go place. The employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. They offered to slice my to-go bagels for me and answered everyone's questions very patiently, even when they were busy. The quality was top notch. The bagels were clearly very fresh. The jalapeño one had a generous amount of cream cheese and just the right flavor balance (not too spicy at all). Pumpernickel was my personal favorite- I love a hearty bagel! It had I believe caraway seeds in it and a very full-bodied flavor. Blueberry tasted fresh. It almost certainly had some purple food coloring added I'm sure to end up the color it did, but the flavor was on point. Would love to see whole wheat added to the line up! The sandwiches looked legit, though we didn't try them. This place is super popular and for good reason! I'll be back! read more

Bagels were good- had the breakfast club. Very well prepared, bagel was soft and not too dense. Ordered when I got here on a sunday morning and took 20-25min to get my order. They were prioritizing online orders. Would recommend ordering ahead instead. Also the large posted menu does not list bagel flavors or schmear flavors. I was not able to see those until I got to the counter- bagle flavors were only behind the person at the register and spreds on small list at the register. Would recommend ordering online for pickup. I've been to many bagel spots in Dallas however this one might be one of the better ones! I was immediately greeted by the staff who were all incredibly nice and seemed like they truly liked their jobs. They were all helpful and even brought my coffee to me because they saw I was pregnant. I ended up trying the Longhorn and Texan bagel (and added sausage)- both were toasted perfectly but still soft. The flavors were perfectly savory and blended well with the meat and eggs. I also tried a hot coffee and an iced chai. The coffee was fine however I don't think I'd get an iced chai again - not enough flavor and a bit watered down for my liking. For a Saturday, the ambiance was busy with a mix of quite a few people picking up orders as well as coming to dine in. The spot is small so there is not a ton of seating, however the bagels more than make up for it! The owner is also incredibly nice and spoke to us for a while. They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels, delicious muffins and extensive breakfast and lunch options. Our personal "go-to's" are the Harvest Chicken (House Chicken Salad, Swiss Cheese, Sprouts, Cucumber and Tomato) and Wild Tuna (Fresh Tuna Salad, Swiss Cheese, Sprouts, Cucumber and Tomato) on Pumpernickel. The're also yummy on Everything bagels. But, don't wait too late to go. The favorite flavor bagels run out quickly. Service is fast and efficient, so there's rarely a long wait to get your order... Fillings were fresh and plentiful, although bacon was hard to find and taste. Muffins also dense. Raspberry had more true flavor, pistachio tasted like sugary bread. I've been to all the hyped up bagel spots around Dallas and this is hands-down my favorite! The service when you initially order is so great, the staff are all so friendly and genuinely happy to be there serving some dang good bagels. Then, the bagels themselves are FANTASTIC. They're always made fresh and they have some very unique flavors I haven't found at other places (such as rosemary olive oil, bacon cheddar, etc). You can control how toasted you want your bagel too - they also butter the bagels ever so slightly so you get a nice buttery crunch when you bite in. And then last but not least, the price point is amazing - my order (the Hasher) is typically 16-18$ at other spots around town, here it's only $9. Can't say enough good things about this place, the quality, the staff, the unique flavors, etc etc! read more

I gave it 2 stars because the staff was nice. The bagels themselves were salty. I got 3 cinnamon raisin & 3 cinnamon sugar. I tried one of each on 2 different days. When I emailed to express my disappointment, the owner wrote back to tell me that they don't use salt/sodium in those bagels. He doesn't know what I could've tasted that made me think it was salt. No possibility someone there made a mistake. No offer to try & make amends. I have been eating long enough to know salt when I taste it. I threw the rest of them away and have no plans to return. This is a great little bagel place. They have some seating inside and two tables outside. Staff is very friendly. They were pretty busy with walk-in traffic and lots of DoorDash orders. The bagels are legit NY style bagels. I picked up breakfast for me and my friend and her fiancé that live close by. My everything bagel with scallion and bacon was so tasty. Loved the chew of my bagel. My friends had never had eaten here and both enjoyed their bagels too and kept commenting on how good they were. I was looking for a new bagel place to try and went in on a Sunday morning around 11am. There was about 7 people and not too busy, this shop is small though so it felt kinda packed. My sister and I both ordered and had our order in about 5 mins. The service was friendly and fast, not sure what it's like earlier in the morning. I ordered the protein plus bagel which was turkey, egg, cheese and an avocado spread. I choose a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was very delicious. I also got a small hazelnut coffee. My sister tried the Salmon sliced and cream cheese on a plain bagel with a horchata. Both bagels were stuffed, we couldn't wait to try them and ate in the car. I was only able to finish half and it was very delicious. Will be back to try the other bagels. read more

I discovered this place a few months ago and it's become somewhere I go for a small boost every now and then. Its a bit small, but there are places to sit and its very cozy. I usually order the hasher on an asiago (or everything) bagel with siracha, and I always get the fresh strawberry lemonade. Very yummy, a great breakfast/brunch options. Bagel Cage 21 is still my favorite local haunt for getting my bagel fix. I especially love their beautiful, bright rainbow bagels that they only make and serve on the weekends. The downside is that the weekends are extremely busy here and the available space to stand in line or wait for your order, or even to sit down and eat is extremely limited. There are a few tables and chairs inside and out, but the majority of customers take their orders to go. The staff and customers are always very polite here. Prices are a bit steep, but everything is these days. My bagel with sausage, egg, cheese and cream cheese was about $11, and my husband's salmon and lox on an everything bagel was about $12. We didn't get drinks, but they have a fridge at the front of the store that makes it easy to grab a soda or OJ to go. You can also order coffee or other beverages from the counter when you place your order. I wish these guys would consider expanding to a new space or maybe buy out the Jersey Subs next door so that they could offer their customers more room. read more

My husband and I frequent this place on weekend mornings and always enjoy our experience. The staff is friendly, especially the manager, who always greets us by name and welcomes us in with a smile. The bagels are yummy, my husband prefers the bagel sandwiches as they are the only place we've found that does hashbrowns in them ("The Hasher") and I enjoy a bagel with their garlic and herb cream cheese. The place is small but has some tables inside as well as a couple outside, and is decorated very homely and welcoming. Side note, I also always enjoy the music they have on their station. I got a chicken salad asiago bagel sandwich and it was really good!! The ingredients used were really fresh and you can really tell that the bagels are made in-house. The service was really respectful and greeted me as soon as I walked in, and gave me some time to look at the menu before I ordered (it was my first time there). The shop is pretty small with only a few tables, which can make it a nice place to stop by for a quick brunch/lunch if that's what you're looking for (keep in mind that the place is only open until 1:30 during the week however). It's also pretty close to UTD, so if you're a UTD student looking for a good quick lunch place off-campus i'd definitely recommend!!! read more

It's been awhile since I've had a bagel, and saw this place after working out at a nearby gym. As soon as I entered the shop, I noticed the shop was quite packed. Not sure if this is typical or not, but there were at least 15 customers in the shop. I've always wanted to try a lox bagel, and I saw several reviews indicating that this was the place in town to try a lox bagel (on Everything). The Rainbow Bagel also caught my eye so I ordered it with a strawberry cream cheese. The Lox Bagel did not disappoint. I'm a huge fan of smoked salmon (on sushi) and everything combined including the lox spread tasted so good. As you can tell from the pictures, the strawberry cream cheese added was quite significant, and probably the most I've seen from any shop. I'm not sure if they made their strawberry cream cheese, but I can tell that there was no added sugar like you find in store-bought cream cheese. The Rainbow bagel in itself has no flavor and seems like a normal bagel. Either way, I really enjoyed the bagel. I'll probably go again to try some of the other items like the muffins and the drinks! read more

Bagel shop with high quality ingredients and lovely people, but not much space on the inside and don't expect it to be a super quick in-and-out stop. Overall, We really like the bagels here! My husband is partial to the Hasher sandwich on Asiago and I like the Protein Plus on Parmesan Garlic or Everything bagel. When I come in person, I love to see them crack and cook fresh eggs for the sandwiches! My go-to sweet bagels are generally blueberry and chocolate chip, but I don't find there is a lot of flavor with the ones they serve here, so I stick with the savory bagels. I don't mean that as a bad thing, just expect more subtle flavors in some bagels. I do love their cream cheeses. Their coffee drinks are OK but I'd go elsewhere if your primary goal is caffeine. It's a tight squeeze inside and can be a long wait, so I prefer to order delivery via DoorDash. The food always arrives hot and fresh! One time, I came on a busy Saturday, when it was loud, busy, and crowded. They weren't shouting the names quite loud enough, and someone left and returned a few minutes later and stated the order was wrong. The person behind the counter unwrapped the items, rewrapped them, and then called my name and handed me the bag. It's been a while since I've worked in food service but I didn't think it was OK to accept food back to the kitchen from a customer who had clearly opened/inspected/handled the items and then deliver it to someone else. At that point I had been waiting a long time for my sandwiches and didn't want to set them back further so I just took them, I was just surprised it happened at all. I think they may be better off switching to a numbering system or even pagers, since so many names sound alike. I would love to see them expand into a larger space! Full disclosure before I start. I have known the new owner since high school. And I mean known as in we can get together and tell stories that end with, "how did we not get in trouble for that!" However, if I wanted to just try to help him I would have just given a 5 star review and said good place or something generic. The following is absolutely my 100% honest review. I went at breakfast and tried the Longhorn on a plain bagel. Bagel had a good crust to it and a good chew. Not to little and it too much. Great taste to the bacon and ham as well. Eggs were nicely done and the cheese went well with everything. Sandwich was very filling. I'm a big eater and did not finish it. Also got three bagels to go; French Toast, Cinnamon Sugar and Chocolate Chip. Have kept them in the fridge as I was told due to there not being preservatives they would go bad fast. My daughters have tried them and loved all three. They even noticed how much better the crust and chew are versus other bagels and said something to me and I was not expecting 16 year olds to notice that. We would heat one up in the microwave for about 20 seconds so we could cut it in half and then toast it. If there were a location near me I would definitely eat at it regularly.
