I've always been all in on Subway's "eat-it-your-way" slogan, so imagine my surprise when I ordered the Pepperoni & Cheese Footlong Dippers (menu just says "pepperoni and cheese," right?) and was told they'd only put American cheese on it--no other options. When I pushed back, the staff basically shrugged and said, "That's what it comes with." That hit me as pretty unfair. If "cheese" really means only American, why not just say "American cheese" on the menu? It feels like a bait-and-switch. I've customized this same sandwich at other locations countless times--Swiss, provolone, extra cheddar--you name it. Never had an issue. But here, they wouldn't budge. This isn't just picky nit-picking. It's a core part of Subway's brand promise to let customers choose. So when a crew refuses to honor a plain-spoken menu description, it comes off as rigid and, frankly, rude. Here's what needs to happen: * Fix the menu: Either label it "American cheese only" or let us pick our cheese. * Train the team: Make sure staff know that "cheese" means any standard variety unless the menu says otherwise. * Be consistent: If you're going to restrict choices, give a heads-up before you start making subs. Until they straighten this out, I can't recommend this location to anyone who actually wants to choose their cheese. This is my favorite subway in all of Garland I have come here several times since they first opened! This location does serve breakfast and it's really good steak and egg on a flatbread or some of there other ones. Just tried the new carved turkey sandwich it was really good, everything I have tried is 1,000% better then all the other locations I have been to in all if Garland. This location is always clean and I like the inside design and I'm always greeted with a smile when I enter the store. All there breads taste fresh and same with the lettuce and tomato, the other subway I went to on market had... 1 star for its horrible shape it's in. This one is 5 stars and I will keep coming back! read more

I couldn't get past the sanitary issues to enjoy my purchased food. The spatula used to stir the sweet tea was set out on the counter next to the trash opening. The same spatula was then used by an employee on break to not just push down the trash overflow but THEN put back into the tea!!! I'm entirely done with this location. read more

I've never had a problem here. Been coming here for three years. Food is always great, fluffy fresh bread, kind employees. I prefer it to the one on First street next to the donut shop, they're always rude and their food sucks. read more

Just the other day I went in for a wrap and there was thing sorta homosexual looking girl with green hair and man she was so sweet to me while making my wrap and ringing me up. I would defiantly recommend coming here, the chicken wraps (even though sadly they don't have the other kind of chicken anymore) are amazing, if you see her, have her make you a wrap! read more

So everyone once in awhile for lunch time I'll come here and eat. Every time I have came the employees are always nice and they also joke around with you. Not awkwardly either. They have fresh veggies, which some other places don't so I like it. Their sandwiches are good and always at this place more expensive the the other some down the street, who knows. The only one thing I could really say about location is the screwed up parking it is very unfortunate and sucks. Feel like your stuck and can't get out after pulling in. Blah. Hate that ! read more

Dirty dirty dirty!!! Beautiful store but it's just dirty. I couldn't find a clean table to sit at. The staff was more concerned with speaking amongst each other than cleaning up the store. I wasn't the only customer who had an issue finding somewhere to sit since all of the tables were dirty. At one point I witnessed one of the employees try to "make a basket" with the trash from their lunch across the store. It's one of the nicest / updated stores in the area but the cleanliness makes it by far the worst! read more

I work a few stores down this Subway, and sometimes when I'm craving it I eat their. I like to ask a lot of questions about the food and the employees never seem annoyed about my questions. I'm usually a 4 or 5 star person. But after several trips here to this new location I'm disappointed in the service. The young lady working behind the counter speaks in broken English (at best) and she either cannot understand my English or doesn't pay attention. Last time I asked for one type of bread and she gave me a different bread. And then today she asked me if I wanted toasted and I said no. What does she do? Toasts it. Nice to have a clean new Subway....but having annoying employees ruins it. Update 5/8/15 - There has been a good change and service is much better! read more

I visited the location on Monday (1/7/19) and I was really annoyed with my experience there was a young lady with curly hair just on her phone while a line was forming and two of the other employees were working hard to bring it down yet she couldn't even be bothered to get off FaceTime she would even bring it behind the register as if it wasn't noticeable, I understand using a phone when there is no business but that was so disrespectful not just to the customers but to the two other employees who were actually working hard ! read more

I eat here almost daily I've only had an issue twice. First issue a gentleman decides to start my sandwich after just getting off of his cell phone on company time. Decides to not wash hands I walked out that's just nasty Then today I have no clue what was wrong with the food I guess not cold enough ate at about 3pm and it completely did not settle with my stomach. What a horrible Subway!!!! I have tried to give this place a shot but I will never give my money to this location ever again. The manager, I think it is AJ, has horrible customer service and I really question how and why he got his position in the first place. I have seen him on the phone during hours and I have witnessed extreme rudeness from him towards several customers. When someone questioned the price of something, he didn't explain the reasoning, he basically said it just is...even though it wasn't clearly advertised. His response to being asked about the freshness of the bread or particulars about the products offered was extremely dismissive on several occasions! I witnessed the employees using the same rag to wipe the counter tops, tables, seats, and working area. That is disgusting! This place is not worth your time and hard earned money. I will be complaining to corporate or higher leadership because this is just unacceptable. read more

I ordered online and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the restaurant. The manager came out of the back and informed me that each sandwich had a number which corresponded to the item on the receipt, which made it very easy to give the proper sandwich to the intended person. He was also very friendly, and he made me feel like a valued customer. I'll be back here many times if this is the norm. read more
