Chicken. Rotten Thick N Fluffy Lemon Ricotta Blueberry French Toast

Awful experience. Food was raw and rotten, the whole family got food poisoning from eating here. Not sure if the food was purposefully tampered with because is was absolutely vile.

I thought the brown pieces were mushrooms even though I didn't order any but they are in fact avocado

I ordered the Cali Turkey Melt. I opened the l sandwich when I got home and was like I didn't order mushrooms on my sandwich...to my surprise they are rotten avocado pieces I also ordered broccoli instead of fries and I got a container of rotting vegetables. I will be taking this back in the morning and I am expecting a full refund‼

Awful grilled cheese

I went to IHOP to take advantage of the "kids eat free" and boy was I disappointed! Where do I begin..... 1. The coffee was as thin as water and for this to be a pancake house I'd expect better coffee 2. The grilled cheese sandwich that came with a kid's meal was severely undercooked, it was about 3 slices of cheap processed American cheese that wasn't anywhere near fully melted. 3. The biggest disappointment was with the Thanksgiving style meal that I bought for $12... it contained INSTANT MASHED POTATOES....WHO CHARGES $12 for INSTANT POTATOES! AND THEY WERE DISGUSTING!! 4. The kids chicken and waffles that I ordered had way more breading on the chicken tenders then actual chicken, sad! 5. No refills on Kids orange juice The only bright side was my mother's Philly cheese steak sub which actually looked pretty delicious. Although if we're being honest they charged extra for getting lettuce and tomatoes which normally comes on a sandwich.....pretty low IHOP. Overall a pretty sad and eye opening experience at IHOP for dinner....Maybe they should only do pancakes

Would you shake this salt in your food? This is what my husband tried to shake in his eggs.
Michele L.

59cent short stack special Got more than that however you might not be able to season your food because the salt and pepper shakers are so full and rims are dirty you don't know what you are shaking in your food.

If you're looking for a fun brunch with 70's music, good vibes, and good people, this is the place. Before arriving, I made a reservation through their website, which was quick and easy. Once we got there, it was immediately clear why reservations were needed; the restaurant is small and cozy. Still, it's beautifully decorated, spotless, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the chef, possibly the owner personally greeted us and showed us to our table. We were served right away and informed that three options were available for the "furlough meal," (Hamilton Smashburger, Spicy chicken sandwich, and the Black Bean burger), with the option to order from the regular menu at cost. We both chose the "Hamilton Smashburger," which came with house fries or garlic fries and a drink (the garlic fries were fantastic!). The burger itself was clearly homemade, juicy, and so big I couldn't finish it in one sitting. I ended up taking the rest home, repurposing it on a fresh bun, and was grateful to have grabbed some of their homemade ketchup, it was that good! Even though the meal was completely complimentary, I left a small tip for our wonderful waitress/bartender (I usually tip more but did what I could). We were kindly invited to return, whether the furlough continues or just to try other dishes, and encouraged to make another reservation.

The servers were busy at their pace, nothing rushed, but steady which made all the difference in the atmosphere in the dining areas. One note on seating, if you sit on the right side, you will be close to the partition between the kitchen and you, making a noisier visit. There are quietier sections. The menu was a scaled down version of the 1 in Canton. It would be too ambitious to attempt to make all of that This menu was well thought out. The food was fantastic. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, omg, it was fantastic. It comes with boom boom sauce, which i requested be put on the side. There is also a sides section, the onion rings were crispy, nice and hot. My husband had a waffle, a "chocolate" waffle meaning a regular plain waffle with chocolate chips, and sliced strawberries on top, which was a bit of a disappointment, but it came together as it should.

There were only 2 people working, so there were a bunch of people waiting for their orders and service was slow. One person was at the cashier, the other was packing doughnuts, making breakfast sandwiches, and the coffees. We waited 5 minutes in line and then another 10-15 minutes for them to pack our 4 donuts. I wanted to get a sandwich but figured the wait was too long. On to the donuts - I liked the blueberry basil and blackberry lime donuts. The blueberry basil flavor wasn't super strong but it was well balanced. The blackberry lime was my favorite - sweet and a little tart. The crobar (croissant-donut) texture was awesome but I did not rally taste the cranberry or orange advertised. The buttercream frosting on top was sickeningly sweet so ended up scraping that off...finally the coffee donut. Not my favorite but not bad - it tasted like instant coffee and was kinda punchy coffee flavor, bitter. But I liked that the bitter offset the sweet. Overall, it's a fun place for a gourmet donut but be sure to not get here when it's too busy and to come early - they sell out of fun flavors fast!

They make French toast the way I like! Thin size bread, not mushy, but not thick & fluffy! Just perfect for me. The taste was so satisfying! At first, I was mad that they gave me that lil bit of syrup, but after tasting the French toasts solo, it was no need to put syrup on'em. I crushed in about 3 bites. They are sweet but "perfectly sweet" if that makes sense. I'll definitely be back to try the entire menu. I wanted to order the shrimp & grits, but I had a gym session coming up. There was also live music, which added a really nice touch to the experience. Taste: We ordered the crab cake sandwich and a rack of ribs with fries. The crab cake sandwich was definitely the standout, packed with big chunks of crab and topped with a delicious sauce. The ribs were flavorful and cooked well, though they weren't quite falling off the bone. The fries were fresh and really good. We also got a side of mac and cheese, which unfortunately was the weakest part of the meal. It was very runny and could have benefited from being more baked. Ambiance: The live music created a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It seems like a great place to hang out, especially during the summer when the vibe would probably be even better. Overall Review: The Local was a solid dining experience with attentive service, good food, and a nice atmosphere. On the plus side my family enjoyed the ribs and crab balls. On the negative side, the fish in my fish and chips was painfully thin and small. Normally you get a nice chunky piece of fish when you get fish and chips. Not only that, l've never had fish and chips where the skin was on the fish. I left most of the skin behind, but ate some of it because the portion was so small. I had to eat something. Please have the chef look up what fish and chips is supposed to look like. Despite being the only server, our wait person was outstanding - it wasn't their fault that they had to handle the entire dining room. . Also appreciated the carafe of water on the table - but why no ice -had to drink lukewarm water. Make sure to ask for prices upfront and verify-for a single crabcake entrée, we paid $63 when it's advertised online as 30. Let the buyer beware.. Wouldn't feel a need to return at this point, too many other better options.
