The tikka masala was rich, and packed with flavor. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and perfect. It one of these restaurants where at first, you're questioning if it's going to be good and then you take a bite and you're like.... where. the. heck. am. I...... It may not have the aesthetics of a Michelin-star restaurant, but the food is there. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Restaurant was spotless. I've never actually been inside the restaurant but it's one of my go to spots when ordering delivery. They use their own delivery drivers, which I love. They're very timely and make sure you get your food in your hand. The garlic naan is always on point 10/10. And I'd have to say their tikka masala is also very good HOWEVER the chicken is better than the fish. Somehow the salmon always tastes a bit overcooked. This place can be easily missed at the shopping center. This is mostly a sit down restaurant but I'm ordering to go. There are a lot of seats and there's an area for group/event seating. I never had the chicken sagg and ordered that because it has spinach. The worker said you can request the spice level up to 10 and I got a 5. Monday night dinner with my SO. Walked in, and the restaurant was empty. Looks like half the restaurant is blocked off as a party room, so that was a bit unexpected. The menu has Indian and Nepalese dishes, we stayed more towards the Indian side. The breads (Pappadam, Puri, and Garlic Naan) were out of this world good, and flavored just right. The Samosas were hot and spicy, but full of delicious flavors. The Lamb Biryani was top notch. All of the flavor. It was a flavor party going on for sure. I asked for spice level 4 (out of 10), and it cleared my sinuses and made my mouth water for more. Sodas are served in cans with a glass. The server seemed glad to have us there, and ensured that not only did we get what we wanted, but also made sure we understood what we were asking for. They have one of the best Nepalese appetizers. The size and freshness of both chili garlic momo and chicken steam momo were just amazing, but i would not order the goat bhutuwa again. The other reviews noting the flavor do not lie Service was a bit slow when I went however this is forgiven as they had a large 20+ party taking half the venue. Mount Everest holds a special place in my heart. Almost 10 years ago, I met my boyfriend on a dating site. We had our first date at Mount Everest. Neither of us had ever tasted Indian food before this meal. We cannot remember what we ate, but we have spent our relationship trying all kinds of Indian restaurants to find our favorite one, and we always come back to Mount Everest. We celebrated our last anniversary there, this past February, introducing a friend to her first Indian food experience. Mount Everest isn't exactly conveniently located to Dundalk, so we plan on eating there whenever I have a doctor's appointment over in the White Marsh area. We stopped by for take-out after a particularly frustrating eye doctor's appointment, as a reward. We have a menu where we keep track of what we have previously ordered. Top rated: Chicken Korma ($14.99): Tender pieces of chicken cooked in a creamy sauce with cardamom, topped with dried fruits and nuts Chicken Junelly ($13.99): Chicken cubes cooked with vegetable in Himalayan creamy sauce Chicken Hyderabadi ($14.99): A classic hyderabadi style chicken cooked with coconut, curry leaves in a blend of herbs & spices. This time around we had: Pepper Chicken ($14.99): Chicken cooked with green peppers, cracked peppers & chili flakes in south Indian style. --- Good, but we wouldn't get it again. Lamb Chops ($28.99): Rack of lamb marinated in fresh ground spices & herbs, cooked in the tandoori oven. --- As with lamb chops, they're expensive and you always wish you got more. Tasty, but for the price we can get two different meals next time. The rice that comes with your meals is top notch. So fluffy and lovely, lightly seasoned. And it reheats well! We've tried at least 10+ other menu items, but I won't bore you with all that. Appetizers here can be pretty miss, and the naan is fine (though all of them taste the same, no matter what filling you order), and the mango lassi is delicious (and easy to make at home!). The restaurant is usually empty, but don't let that fool you about the quality of the food. Service is friendly, helpful, and prompt. The service is always great and they took great precautions for COVID. Here are our favorite things: *Only one thing is an absolute must here - the Aloo Tikki Chat. Please, please do not start your meal without this. - Mango Lassi drink. Best we've had. Not too thick and not too sweet. Big recommend. Is this place under new management or something. I ordered my usual "goat curry with garlic naan". This dish was missing soo much flavor. They shorted me on the Indian spice. I hate to rate them so low, because the people are very friendly and sweet, but I should have realized when I walked in the door and NO customers were in the dining room that something was wrong. I did a carry out order of Saag Paneer. I ordered it medium spicy, and with extra paneer cubes. This additional cheese, I was told, would be $5.00 extra. That's a little expensive, but fine with me. The problem is that when I got it home, it didn't appear to have all that many paneer cubes in it. I actually had to hunt around for them! The cubes that _were_ present were small in size, like 1/2". So disappointing! To make things worse, the saag was pureed like baby food, making it very sloppy. I actually had to put it in a bowl to eat it, like soup! The taste itself was actually very good, so no complaints there, but when I order $5.00 extra paneer I expect it to be loaded with it, which it definitely was not. This, and the pureed texture, was a huge turn off. For these reasons, I won't be ordering from them again, I'm sad to say, because they were very nice people. read more

Underwhelmed and frankly puzzled. I was craving Indian food and thought this would be a pretty good place - I read Yelp reviews. I ordered 3 items "to go" on a Friday night - Chicken Korma, Garlic Naan and Shahi Keer. 1st - the Chicken Korma was okay. I ordered it w/medium spice, so it had a little heat and that was good. However, it's the little details that can totally change a dish flavor profile. A lot of creamy sauce, but missing the usual cardamom flavor, dried fruits and nuts. I thought I'd at least be able to find a golden raisin or something to balance the spice - nothing but loads of sauce. 2nd - Garlic Naan, it was soft & slightly chewy w/bits of crunchy garlic. 3rd - Shahi Keer very bland and again no nuts or raisins, which sucked because it's dessert! I don't know what's the deal with the incomplete dishes. This was a true let down, because my mouth was watering for good food full of flavor & spices. This was my first & last visit there. This has become my new fave! I've eaten in the restaurant & gotten delivery and it's perfect & piping hot, both ways, every time! The inside of the restaurant looks really neat, the servers are extremely polite and helpful, & the food is some of the best I've ever had! I think the mild option is so perfect for folks who can't handle spice & the medium is just right for those who can handle a little. The garlic naan is great with the chicken tikka masala! First visit and what a great experience it was! We had Chilli Chicken Momos, Goat Korma (not in the menu but they cooked a special order for us) and Mango Lassi. All the dishes were AMAZINGLY TASTY. They accommodated our "not spicy" request with great care, and we could taste all the flavors not being intimidated by the unbearable for us heat of strong spices. The Momos were probably the best we've ever had. Though the Goat dish looked not big visually, we couldn't believe we hardly finished it, so filling it was with a good amount of meat in it. Nice ambiance, Very nice and accommodating service, Very clean and quite reasonable in point of prices. We travel to Delaware on the route passing by this wonderful place quite often, and so glad to discover this place to stop by for a great lunch. read more

The BEST food and service! This is and has been One of my very favorite restaurants in the Baltimore area. We made a reservation for 15 of us, and they appropriately distanced our tables, and put us in a room by ourselves. The wait staff is always so friendly and kind and accommodating. Some of our family had never been here before so they were in for a treat. I can't highly recommend this place enough, the food is outstanding every time. Great portions . Plenty of parking in the big parking lot. Great menu. Today I got the kebab plate which included tandoori chicken, lamb, and salmon with a beautiful rice dish. Then I called to place my order, the total they gave was $12.00 more than it should have been. I am feeding a group so I took the hit anyway. Even speaking to the manager they could not explain why my total was so much more. ETA: when I got the food it was clarified in their newly printed menu the change in prices. Delicious food and it says a lot about their quality that they often have their dining area reserved for large family gathering and events(Nepali). I'd give 5 stars, but last few times they've been skimpy with the chicken (probably Covid cost cutting). I'd be a bit more forgiving, but they are priced a bit high for such little meat. So I walked in on a Friday night, it was totally dead, it is a huge restaurant and was awkwardly quiet and had maybe 4 tables occupied. Someone walked up to me (as there is no hostess stand) and I told them I ordered to-go... he then walked me back to the back of the restaurant where there was a counter and register (strange set up) and rang me up. I felt so awkward because of how quiet it was and how I was walking through people eating their dinners. Anyway the food... EVERYONE on Yelp raved about the Chicken Tandoori... yea it was terrible, I was so disappointed with it, it was dry and too flavorful... I am glad my friend let me eat some of her Chicken Tikka Masala, which was absolutely delicious! The sauce was so good, I couldn't get enough of it. I was also disappointed that the naan had to be ordered separately and you did not get any with your meal, especially for the prices, which were a little high, naan definitely should be included. However, I highly recommend getting it on the side because it was absolutely delicious. Apparently they deliver which is great for my friend! I don't live in the area so I probably will not eat here again until I visit again and we both crave Indian! Overall it was very delicious if you stick to the Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan, in which I would totally order again, but I would definitely stick with to-go. read more

If you want delicious Indian food than you can't go wrong eating here. Entering this non-imposing establishment at a strip mall off of Bel Air Road you will notice the roomy interior. There is plenty of tables. When we went there was hardly more than two other tables occupied. The servers were nice and the food came out quickly. We had the chicken korma,vegetable platter and garlic naan. Everything was delicious, especially the garlic naan loaded with garlic. The cons were the disappearing servers at the end of the service and the really loud and out of station music. If they can fix the music and be more attentive towards the end of service this would be a five star review. read more
