Service was great and the food was fresh and delicious!!!!!!! One thing I had never tried bedtime and it was super tasty, was the mango lassi sparkler (alcoholic drink). It was so good, but heavy.

This place is great for Indian and Nepalese dishes. The saag paneer is great, this time we tried it with lamb. I think the chicken saag is much better than the lamb, but both are good. Highly recommend getting the saag dishes with at least medium spice. The Chow mien is delicious! The drinks and lunch buffet are always a hit with my friends!

Our first visit The food was fantastic. The staff was very helpful in selecting dishes. Momo was great as was the Chicken Sadeko and Chicken Curry. We will definitely be back!

The food here is very good and cooked with lots of spice and flavor. In addition, it's reasonably priced for the portion. I loved my eggplant and my friends liked their chicken curry and goat saag (beware that they are cooked and served with bones). The butter naan was absolutely amazing as well. However, be prepared to wait. We came for dinner and waited almost 45 minutes for our entrees after ordering. The restaurant wasn't even full but it seems that they cook your meal to order. If we had known in advance, we wouldn't have been as disappointed by how long we had to wait.

Royal Spice greets you with a kind welcome. Water is brought to the table and they allow you time to review the menu. The restaurant has cool dark colors and dim lighting to for a more casual dinner experience. The food options were super tasty and tender. I was surprised of how flavor the chicken was and literally cooked as close to perfection as possible. I did try a signature cocktail which was also well made; unfortunately, I did not get any photos before it was gone. While dining in I noticed several couriers arriving to make delivers which is a good sign. Please go try for yourself and experience a taste of Nepal.

This might be my new favorite restaurant!! We loved everything we had and highly recommend y'all to go check them out! Great ambiance, server was super nice and constantly checked up on us! when we walked in the first thing that was served was deep-fried papad with three chutneys. Then came the food. We had: 1-goat sekuwa- this was not on the menu we had to ask for it. Highly recommended it! little chewy, but the marination was on point! 10/10 2-chicken chowmein- on a scale, we asked for spicy and it was super tolerable and very delicious! Highly recommend it! 10/10 3- jhol momo- jhol was different but very tasty! hot tomatoe based soup. It does not have timur or peanut base (or aleast you can't taste it) but nontheless veryy good!! 4- steam momo- classic, filling was very good and achar was tasty! 5- they also have bar with various drinks. We got the lychee martini. Take advantage of their happy hours!

From the moment you walk under the welcoming sign inside you can tell this place is cared for. It is a beautifully maintained, smaller restaurant that maximizes its space perfectly. The dining area is incredibly clean, cozy, and bright, featuring crisp tablecloths and an awesome "Save the Himalayas" wall mural that adds a great touch of character to the room. The service here is incredibly fast and attentive. We barely had to wait at all before our table was filled with fresh, steaming dishes. The food is where this place truly shines. Everything we ordered was packed with vibrant, well-balanced spices. Appetizers: We started with a perfectly crispy fried pakora/fritter served with sweet and tangy dipping sauces which set a high bar for the rest of the meal. The Momos: You absolutely cannot leave without trying their momos. They are perfectly doughy, juicy, and paired with an addictive orange chutney. We couldn't get enough of them. For the main course, the traditional metal thali tray offered a spectacular variety of flavors. Between the spiced chicken, seasoned potatoes, savory chickpea mixture, and beaten rice, every single component on the plate was an absolute hit. Small, clean, lightning-fast service, and exceptionally great food. Himalayan House hits all the right notes for a perfect casual lunch or dinner. I will definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu!

The restaurant has nice decor and a promising selection of menu items, but the execution of the traditional dishes fell short of my expectations. The Highlights: Timmur Chicken Wings: Absolutely amazing. The flavor profile was excellent and easily the best part of the meal. The Disappointments: Thukpa: I have very fond memories of this dish, but this version was highly disappointing. They altered standard ingredients and added fish oil, which is definitely not characteristic of traditional Nepali Thukpa. Momo: While the dumplings themselves were okay, they were let down by the sauce. What makes a Nepali momo superior is the specific, vibrant momo sauce (achar), but the sauce served here looked and tasted like a generic, store-bought version. Overall Verdict:While the menu features an appealing variety, the execution misses the mark on authentic Nepali cuisine. It has great potential, but they need to stick to their authentic basics.

One thing we really appreciated: they asked us what spice level we preferred. My wife doesn't like spicy food, and they thoughtfully prepared everything mild for us without sacrificing flavor. The chickpeas were outstanding -- rich, well-seasoned, and deeply satisfying. The cauliflower wasn't quite to my personal taste, but it was well prepared. And the mango lassi? Absolutely amazing -- creamy, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. Portions were generous, and the service was prompt and genuinely excellent throughout the evening. For the 7 that decided to go family-style, we shared: - Nepali Himalayan noodles with egg and vegetables (so good that we got a second round!); - Nepali Himalayan chicken fried rice (another table favorite!); and - 5 momo orders (goat, chicken x3, and shrimp) all of which were tasty, though personally I liked the savory ones more than the sweeter (e.g., the chicken tika momo) and the chicken and shrimp more than the goat, which had great flavor but was tougher than the others). We had one diner in our group who didn't love spicy food, so we stayed at a level 2 for most dishes. We did get the goat at a level-4 and it wasn't that spicy. First was the chicken tikka momos, topped with what's basically tikka masala sauce, sweet and creamy. The veggie choyal momos were filled with a nice mix of veggies and potato that stood up to the meat options, and were also topped with a sauce that was more on the spicy and sour side. The chicken tandoori momos were fried and slightly crispy with a really delicious chili oil. Finally, the goat jhol momos were probably my favorite momo filling (I love lamb and it was so flavorful), and they paired great with the spicy tomato-y broth, though it still came behind the absolute best jhol momos I've had in Queens NY. Last thing we ordered was a lychee lassi, which was lighter than other thick yogurt-y lassis I've had and more akin to the East Asian drink Yakult, but it was so sweet and refreshing! There is real lychee pulp and I bet they make this in-house. Overall really happy to have found this place and to know that Philly can be introduced to the world of momos. Would absolutely come back, and I think my goal would be to get the goat momos again and try all the different preparations!

Crispy outside, sticky and soft and sweet inside. It was served with some Mula Achar (pickled radishes), whcih was too salty for me. 2. A little bit gamy which was what I look for. It was served with brown and red sauces; both sauces were spicy, while the red was also slightly sweet. 4. Goat Bhutan: Basically fried goat intestine, goat stomach and goat liver, served with raw tomatoes, onions and puffed rice. Mostly crispy, like it was shallow-fried. The organs were delicious but too oily for me. 5. Brussels sprouts: It was said to be pan-fried but looked like roasted. Savory and sweet. Service was good and quick.
