I liked this place! It's similar to some I've tried in the past area where they offer out a some papadum before we order. I got the Dahl makhani and garlic naan which was good! It had a nice spice level and was flavorful. The service was great too - they checked on us several times.

Our family is a huge fan of Chutney. The food, the staff, everything is amazing. We even got them to cater my baby shower and everyone was so happy with the food. I can't recommend this place enough!

I visited Chutney for lunch, not realizing it was a buffet. I'm not a fan of buffets, so I planned to order off the menu, but the staff encouraged me to look at the buffet offerings, as the meal I planned to order was available there. I have to say, I was very pleased with the buffet items ! I had biriyani rice, chicken Tikka, chili chicken and the naan. Half of the buffet is vegetarian, and the other half has chicken, shrimp, and goat as options. Service was good and the restaurants was clean. I'd definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

My 600th Yelp review! I'm breaking up from the current series of Yelp reviews I'm doing as I didn't want what would be the next one to make be my 600th review. I visited Chutney Indian twice. It was solid, but my girlfriend & I tried House of India in the next shopping center over, and we felt it was better. However, Chutney is still a very good choice. I had my birthday party here in February 2024. I got biryani rice platter, which was great, as was the Mango Lassi and the alcoholic beverage I had. I tried some of the Indian beer, which was good. Staff was accommodating for my large turnout, like 19 or 20 people. The restaurant is kind of small, but they made it work. The 2nd time I went was in March 2024 with my girlfriend. She didn't make it to my birthday party as we were only 1 date in at that point and felt it was premature to have her meet a bunch of my friends. We enjoyed a nice meal here. Service was good as well.

Ordered delivery and was not disappointed! I had the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken dish was very mild, no spice at all. While the flavor was good, I do wish it was spicier. The garlic naan was yummy and the rice was cooked perfectly. Definitely was a nice meal overall.

Oh my gosh, I love this place! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, the so warm and welcoming. Thank you, thank you so much for such a great experience. Good food, good life... what more can I ask for? I'll definitely be coming back!

Excellent food and service. Outdoes Royal Taj in the taste department. Each dish comes out steaming freshly made from the kitchen. Def no franchise here Good portion, fair price, authentic flavor. Highly recommend- best Indian food in Columbia.

We wanted to have an Indian buffet and went to Chutney on a Sunday. We were seated quickly and went to the buffet. The normal Indian buffet items were available and I had the opportunity to try some new ones as . The goat was a little tough for my taste but the chicken tikka masala was very tasty. The chilly chicken was good as well. The service was a little off because it was very busy but still a good experience.

Chicken vindaloo: this dish was okay. It wasn't a thick curry consistency and it was thinner/not as heavy. Flavors were okay. Butter chicken: good flavors, definitely heavy and very filling. Good portion sizes. Overall 4/5 stars. Not the best Indian food I've had but I'd probably come back.

We had started eating and were in dilemma to continue eating or just pay and leave. Finally we were frustrated and decided to leave the place. We asked for the bill, and he charged us for two people originally and charged it to one person. We paid the bill and left the place. I didn't want to post this, that's why it took me about 3-4 weeks. But I still wanted to put it out there so that they can take the customers bit seriously for the food they serve and the money they charge. While they run their business to earn dollars they should think that even the customers that visit them work hard thru the week and just want to spend some good time with their family on a weekend, and they pay from their hard earned money. So it's mutual. Don't take your customers for granted, and serve them whatever in the name of Indian food. This is nowhere Indian both in terms of taste or service. Please change your restaurant name anything but India., because I know you are not an Indian restaurant.

The owner's collection is really impressive and I'm already planning a trip back with my partner to explore more of the spirits. My friend and I ordered the half serving of fish curry, half serving of butter chicken, and veggie pakoras. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. The butter chicken wasn't like any other butter chicken I've had -- it was more rich in flavor and leaned more towards a tikka masala in my opinion but it was still good. It came with only one serving of rice for both orders so if you prefer more rice, order extra. It wasn't my favorite basmati rice I've had though. The service was extremely attentive and at times a bit suffocating. Once our food came out, we were checked on 5-6 times in a matter of 10 minutes all by different servers. After a certain point, we both got annoyed because we just wanted to have a conversation without being interrupted every 2 minutes. Waters were refilled any time even a small sip was taken. It seemed like the servers were bored and just trying to find something to do. But I would've much preferred our own server just stopping by once, so my friend and I could've enjoyed our time to catch up. Beyond that, the space is gorgeous with lots of fancy decor. We felt a bit underdressed actually. My friend and I both said how we'd love to come back for a nicer dinner and eat at the bar so service is more relaxed next time.

For the film, I am thinking of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde's first full adventure as partner police officers in Zootopia 2. We learn that Agnes De'Snake, Gary De' Snake's late great grandmother, a pit viper, designed and patented the climate-regulating and climate-controlled walls that allow species of all kinds to not just live in Zootopia, but thrive; however, the investor she found to make her vision a reality stole the patent, took advantage of inhabitants' widespread apprehensions about snakes' appearances and their willingness to deem them untrustworthy, and drove all reptiles out of Zootopia based solely on false hysteria. My wife and I could not have been more excited to try the Indian cuisine from London Curry House, located at 7500 Montpelier Rd in Laurel, Maryland. Once I stepped through the somewhat-traditional glass doors, my imagination ran almost as wild as Alice's in Wonderland, confronted first by one of the iconic red phone booths that signal you are in London proper; then by wallpaper full of Indian hosts drawn in animated styles, a prominent collage-like photo of Anthony Bourdain accompanied by a sincere thank you from the restaurant's owners, and another wall depicting a double-decker tourist bus speeding towards Tower Bridge. Unfortunately, our food, while fine, was nowhere near as memorable. Although I loved the sauce for the chicken chili, my memories wandered to another Laurel Indian restaurant's version that teemed with fresh and crispy green onions and sweet peppers, unlike this version, which featured just a few green peppers to balance out the meat. Our onion Kulcha and Kashmiri naan orders would have benefitted had we dined in and enjoyed the side dishes as appetizers. Although my wife really enjoyed her Fish biryani, we were both shocked by how little fish was in the Masala fish & chips. The dish that we were most excited to try was mostly batter.
