I ordered a catering order from here do an event. I ordered two rice dishes (fried rice and chicken bryiani), chilli panner, chicken angra, and lamb curry, malakai kofta. Every single dish was very well seasoned. i ordered mil because I wanted to make sure all of our guests could eat it even though I personally like super spicy food. Even without it being spicy, everything was perfect and delicious. Everything was cooked really well and the meat was tender. The customer drive was great. I ordered from Uber Eats for delivery: idli, paneer masala, aloo tiki, and chole batura (chickpea and deep-fried puffed flatbread). Not much was good or worth reordering. The idli was hard, the sambar was not tasty, the green chutney was good but the tamarind was not. The chole was a tiny portion and too liquidy. Went in for a quick lunch after seeing a lot of hype about this place. Ambience was nice, it feels and smells clean. You have to seat yourself and a staff will come to your table. I opted for the non-veg thali. The thali consist of fish, lamb curry and chicken tikka masala. Side dishes are dal, raita, some fried potatoes and kheer. It also comes with a bowl of rice and a basket of naan. I love the naan because it was not stale and perfectly doused with ghee so its yummy and soft. The food itself was perfectly spiced, not spicy hot (I could go for a bump on the spice level), and delicious. I dug in there thinking that I may have to request for a refill multiple times. The friendly staff came at my tables asking me if I need a refill and I went with the proteins as they were destroyed quickly. Can't really complain about the portioning since its unlimited refill, as a matter of fact, it's smart and avoids food waste. The price is unbeatable for such good food. Hidden gem in Howard County! We thoroughly enjoyed their Chicken Vindaloo and Paneer Makhani with Naan. The flavor is amazing and better than the other Indian restaurants in the area. Overall- absolutely delicious food, small and casual ambiance, okay service This is our go-to spot when we want Indian takeout. The food always leaves me feeling so happy and fulfilled. It's about 15-18 dollars per entree which I think is a fair price for the quantity and quality of the food. I could literally eat their aloo naan every day. I've never had a sauce I didn't like. We love their vindaloo, butter, curry, tikka masala, Their medium spicy is perfect for me, and there are dishes my two year old enjoys if we get them mild. The shrimp and chicken dishes are always cooked perfectly. I enjoy the lamb and goat too, but sometimes it can be a bit chewy and sometimes the bones take up a lot of the volume of the meal, so it feels like less food for your money. We also have enjoyed their dosa and lots of their appetizers. Yesterday the potatoes in the vindaloo were a little underdone, but that's never happened to us before and we've been getting food regularly here since at least 2020 or maybe before. Take out orders tend to me slower than the time they give me on the order. I almost always have to wait inside. I've eaten inside once and it didn't add anything to my experience. read more

It wasn't until I began eating it that I realized they used old, lukewarm bone in chicken legs. We came here a few months ago and we needed to run an errand in the area, so we were so excited to come back. Food is yummy, flavorful and spicy. The garlic naan wasn't as great as it was last time, the garlic needed to be cooked more and was pretty much raw, but everything else was amazing. Loved my chicken tikka kabob. Hubby got vindaloo and that was super flavorful and spicy. Our server was so kind. The place was pretty hopping for a random Wednesday lunch. But not so busy it affected the service. Ordered take out and the food was pretty good and decently priced. Ordered Tikka masala (~$17) and butter nan ($4). It's not the best Indian food I've had but definitely satisfied my craving and was a couple bucks cheaper than other Indian food places in the area (~$19-20 for chicken tikka masala). One note is their curry is pretty spicy. Ordered medium level spicy and I'm glad I did not get the spicy version. I usually can handle my spice - but thought even the medium was fairly spicy! Wow. I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem tucked away in a nondescript rundown strip mall in Gateway Overlook. I have seriously had some of the best meals ever at this place, and have literally eaten here for the past several days in a row lol. The lunch special thali is the star... look it up if you don't know what it is, but I will say it is purely heavenly. As an Indian immigrant albeit raised in the US, the food here is pretty dang close to my momma's cookin' and is what we call "home food". The flavors here are as authentic as can be, and (thank goodness) they don't dumb down/decrease the spices like some Indian restaurants do to please the masses. All are welcome though, and the service is excellent, and the staff is so sweet and lovely. I would give this place 12 out of 10 if I could. read more

Lentils are delicious to begin with, but dal can be one note; this one had not just a hint of mango but an explosion of flavors and textures including plenty of whole curry leaves. This was good dal. The samosas I got at a cheap happy hour price, which also encouraged me to peruse the happy hour menu and order a mysore bonda as well. They were soft and airy, but I would have preferred something more solid and higher in protein so I think I ordered incorrectly. The chili naan was quite spicy and a great compliment to the dal. The food was good but the container of the food looked small compared to other Indian places I ordered from for the same price. That was the only negative I have about this place. It consists of basmati rice, tandoori chicken, chicken Tikka masala, a vegetable dish, a goat dish, roti, some sort of desert I've never seen before, and a soupy lentil dish. Sadly no Naan which is a huge (and expensive) disappointment. I think all Indian dishes should come with a slice or two. Charging $3 should be criminal. The food was nothing short of amazing. Apparently you can ask for more. Sadly, we never had the chance. Service was lacking. The waiter was running around trying to take care of everything. Even though it was mostly empty, he was having trouble keeping up with orders, filling drinks, and checking people out. Having one more person help would have made service go much better. I didn't refill any of my dishes because he took so long between visits. It didn't help that he barely spoke English. My wife tried asking what meat dishes were included in the thali. He couldn't tell her. We ordered mango lassis for our two kids. One was brought out right away. After 10 minutes I was worried he forgot about it. When the food arrived we asked and it was clear he missed that we wanted two. Finally, charging $3-5 for two pieces of Naan should be illegal. Maybe include a piece or two with each dish and then charge extra if they want more. Would I go back? Maybe.
