Brussel sprouts
Private B.

I ordered the Brussel sprouts and candied yams. The Brussel sprouts were delicious. Perfect texture and the sauce was very flavorful. I didn't care for the yams. They weren't sweet enough, but were okay, not bad. Service was iffy. Waiter disappeared after I ordered and returned when I was ready to pay so other staff had to assist me when I got tired of looking around for her. Place was empty so idk what the issue was with her service. However, overall the people were nice. Spacious inside... good size parking lot. Decor is okay. I will return to try other items. There is a fee if you don't pay with cash.

Berry salad with added salmon

I need to first emphasize that the food was good, but my overall experience was disappointing. While the atmosphere was nice, but pretty empty. When I approached the restaurant, it almost look like the place was abandoned and closed because it was so dark in the windows and you actually have to go towards the opposite side of the building to enter. I even checked their website to make sure they had operating hours today. I was immediately greeted pleasantly and seated. The service was fine. The server was attentative and took my order fairly quickly. As you can see from the pictures, I ordered deviled eggs, the Berry salad, and brussels sprouts. The salmon was a little small but seared to perfection and still quite rare on the inside, which is what I would prefer. So often, restaurants tend to overcook the salmon, which makes it dry. The salad had a nice mixture of blueberries, mandarins, and candied pecans. The deviled eggs were good, but not really anything beyond average, although I could've added shrimp and / or bacon which I declined. Because I already had an appetizer, I decided to only order brussels sprouts as a side item, and I did not want to overeat. I was pleased with the dinner until the check came when I noticed that I was overcharged compared to their online menu, which is also included in the pictures. While I can understand that the website may not be updated, I don't believe it was appropriate to charge me almost $50 for what I ordered. After I called, the manager agreed that the brussels sprouts were overcharged by almost half. I do appreciate his accepting the responsibility, but unfortunately I won't be able to get my refund since he needed my credit card and I was leaving town. With all the available options in the area, and really nothing unique about this place, I would not return.

Crab eggroll

We decided to visit on a Friday evening right before 8 pm. Apparently Friday nights are reserved for DJ Karl with a K, we didn't know the treat we were in for. We were greeted immediately by the hostess Tia, who actually became our server as well and was fabulous by the way. While the music was loud, it was enjoyable.....the people dancing at their tables was proof the DJ was doing his job. Now let's talk about this food. We began with the crab eggrolls, they were ok. They come with four pieces per order and a sweet chili sauce, which I think a romalaude would better compliment the eggrolls, but overall they were ok for $18. For our mains I ordered the catch of the day which was a choice of catfish or whiting, I chose catfish, fried of course and it came with two sides so, I got cabbage and macaroni and cheese which is served in a cast iron skillet. He chose the fish and chips which came with 3 pieces of whiting and handcut fries. Overall our meals were good, I kind of wished my fish was fried a little harder, but I know to make the request next time. The portion of my meal was so much that I ended up taking half of it home and it was affordable at $22 and there was nothing left of the fish and chips with another affordable pricetag of $18. We also had two drinks a piece. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return. Parking is plentiful and free. It seems like they have themed nights almost nightly and I'm excited to try other nights, like karaoke. If you're in the area, drop in you won't be disappointed!

"Crab and shrimp artichoke dip
L'Mika K.

I placed a pickup order at 9:20 PM and was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. When I arrived, I let the staff know I was there for my order and was told it would be another 5-10 minutes. After waiting and checking a couple of times, I finally got my food around 10:00 PM -- 40 minutes after ordering. I ordered a salmon Caesar salad and a crab & shrimp artichoke dip. The salad came without any Caesar dressing -- I had to ask for it separately. The salmon was being kept warm under a lamp while the spinach dip didn't even have crab or shrimp, just spinach and cheese. They did put the salmon back in the oven, which was nice, but the food just didn't feel fresh or properly prepared. On the plus side, the drinks were strong and reasonably priced, and the DJ created a fun vibe. But for the food -- especially with a 40-minute wait for pickup -- it wasn't worth it. I really wanted to like this spot based on recommendations, but I wouldn't spend money here for food again.

Wing redo

I'm a Pumphrey local. I love the location and I love being able to support my community. The staff is always welcoming. The crowd is an interesting mix, can't say I go there for the people.I stopped in Saturday to watch the Preseason Ravens V Cowboys game, after walking out of another bar due to a bad experience. I think I was just having bad luck for awhile because my order of wings took too long to come out and when they did they were burnt AND cold. Must be me! I'm being punished for something. I told Justin, my server and he quickly understood the assignment. My replacement order did take just as long but when they got to me they were PERFECT! Even had some extra razzle dazzle the I appreciated. Thank you 9Five. Always a pleasure!

Brunch spread ( Deviled Eggs, Steak & Eggs Platter, Crab Egg Rolls, Fish & Grits) & bottomless mimosas

Food was decent, service was good, but overall felt a little shabby . I'm from NY by the way if that means anything . Loved the shrimp Deviled eggs

$4 margaritas
Lennea B.

Fairly new family black owned business. The place was practically empty. The food was pretty good. They have great happy hours specials. Monday night was $4 margaritas which didn't disappoint. Everything was great up until I moved from the bar and sat at the table with my other friends that came in. The server nor bartender was knowledgeable on wine. My best friend asked for Prosecco and was brought a red wine... sent it back to be sent a rose .... They lost a star for this. I just can't give you five stars when the bartender doesn't know how to give the right drinks. 18% gratuity is automatically added to checks. It's great parking and a very nice sized restaurant. They also rent spaces for private parties. It has everything it needs for a flourishing business just please educate you staff your food and drink selections. I have plans on going back definitely a place that's chill and food and drinks will be good...

Wings

My mother and I came here for lunch after a business meeting. The restaurant is spacious, neat, and clean. It boasts a large bar area as well as a modest dining room upon entry. There are multiple large televisions displayed. There's also a jukebox. The staff were very professional, personable, and friendly. They were eager to serve offering most ordered menu selections and their personal food preferences, providing details about the establishment, upcoming events, seasonal menus, as well as letting us tour the place. It's large with plenty of space for hosting events which they do regularly and offer for rent. The food was delicious as well. We ordered the crab and spinach dip, old bay wings, side of greens, and salmon bites. The spinach and crab dip with the crispy chips... YUM. We also had margaritas mine being the spicy margarita which had a kick but was not overbearingly spicy. I enjoyed my time and plan to return in the near future for 1 of their many events. Check them out!

Garlic Parmesan Wings

Restaurant gives you home-like, very comfortable vibes. Service was great, bartender was super busy but attentive! Wings were so good. Nice crisp but juicy! Drinks were strong, only needed one. Crabs were ok but was more shocked they were even offered?? I loved it - who has a special on individual crabs? Overall an amazing time!

A coworker told me that there is a new restaurant close to our job (the airport) and suggested I go try it out. I'm so glad I did! 9Five Kitchen and Bar is a family style dine in restaurant with a bar (for the grown folk) It's about 10 minutes from BWI, close to the light rail, and easy access to highway 95. So whether you are coming from Baltimore or DC, or on a layover, access is easy! Ms. Robin and Chef Bobby were amazing and a pleasure to meet. Here's what I had: 9FKB Shrimp Bites 10/10 Crab Egg Rolls 10/10 Summer Berry Salad 10/10 Honey Touched Blackened Salmon 10/10 Lamb chops 8.9/10 9Five Signature Steak and Cake (crab cake) 10/10 French Toast Platter (w/ eggs, potatoes, and sausage) 9.7/10 Truffle Fries 8/10 Mac and Cheese 7/10 Red Potatoes 9/10 Asparagus 9/10 Yellow Rice 8.9/10 Spiked Strawberry Lemonade 9/10

We went on a Saturday and they were pretty busy, so decided to sit on the bar side. They have a bar section in addition to a regular dining, they also have space that can be reserved for private parties. The server was very nice but a little unsure. She was still in her first week, so we'll give her some grace. The food was really good, worth one caveat. The menu says they offer a smash burger. It's NOT a smash burger. It seemed to be a regular 1/3 pound burger. With that said, it was very good. They have $4.00 margarita Mondays and karaoke on Wednesdays.

I enjoyed the local favorites with an upscale twist but also affordable at their grand opening!

The food is always delicious here, sandwiches are piled high with a meat of your choice, cheese,…read moreslaw, tomato, and fries. Onion rings are super crispy and stay together well. The drinks were HUGE but not very strong. I did get a little plastic duck with my cocktail which was very cute, though. Despite being a Pittsburgh sandwich and bar restaurant, you would expect to see Steelers memorabilia, but the Linthicum MD location is full of Baltimore Ravens gear! The service was attentive and always around if you needed something. Food comes out quickly, I didn't wait more than 10-15 minutes for anything to come out. Overall, Food and Drinks: 8.5/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 7/10

P is for Primanti Bros., representing 2024 in alphabet series:…read more I was familiar with Primati Bros. when I visited my parents in Lancaster. They live very close to a location there, and we got pizza to go when I was visiting them one time maybe in 2022. The pizza was very good as I recall. Then, I saw there was a location of Primanti Bros. opening in Linthicum Heights near BWI Airport, the first location in the Baltimore-DC area. They were having a grand opening on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, where the 1st 100 customers were going to get free sandwiches for year. I live about 13 miles from here, and I toyed with the idea of trying to be one of the first 100. But I opted against as even if I got there at 6 AM for the 10 or 10:30, whatever grand opening time, and there's still no guarantee I'd be the 1st 100. And I'd be pissed that I drove all the way there and stood there for hours to get nothing in the end. Not to mention, I had work too (although on average probably slower due to also Juneteenth holiday), which I could do from out there to a certain extent. Ultimately, I had emailed them, and they said the 100th customer got there at approximately 4 AM that morning! That's insane. This place really has a cult following! A friend, who knew I lived in AA County, loves this place and mentioned the idea of meeting up with me one Sunday to watch a Ravens game, and him and his fiancée (wife as of March 2025) went up there a few times to watch game or other reasons they went that way. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, like Juneteenth the holiday Primanti Bros. opened, it was Rosh Hosannah, and that friend who had off (as he works in a school & they get the Jewish holiday) off invited me to lunch with another friend of ours. My work was slow that day, and I needed to eat lunch somewhere anyway. I probably would've eaten lunch at home or close to home if they hadn't thought to invite me. So, I drove the 13 miles from home to meet up with them. Those two friends were kind of high. Well sure, it was a holiday they were off work. And they were hungry too! I was hungry too because well it was lunchtime. Service was prompt & friendly answering our questions. However, server was a bit of a klutz as she accidentally spelled some water got a bit on one friend. Geez, was she the one who was high?!...just kidding, it's just one of those accidents that can happen being a server. She was apologetic. My friend took it with stride having a positive attitude. I believe I got a pastrami sandwich, but could've been corned beef. Their sandwiches are big, pilled high with lots of meat & delicious too. I can really see why the following for this place with the quantity but also the high quality. Fries were plentiful too, which were also delicious. I ate well that day for lunch and was quite full. I went to an event that evening, and I think I just ate something small/snack for dinner that night after I got home around 9 PM. This was a great service with excellent plentiful sandwiches & fries and nice service.

The wings were actually very good! I never have super high expectations for airport food, but they were seasoned perfectly with the right amount of sauce! My friends ordered the Crabby Waffle Fries but the best part was the Old Bay Crab-Cheddar Dip! It was delicious! Since we had a long layover, our waiter was very pleasant and allowed for us to hang out in the restaurant. She kept checking to make sure we didn't need anything which I thought was very thoughtful!
