The bar area

This place has good food and affordable drinks. But before you visit, you need to set expectations. This is a good place to meet with friends and grab the aforementioned food and drink. But this is not a sports bar - the broadcasts of games are only a backdrop for socializing. I missed the distinction and didn't have a great experience. I visited on a game day to watch preseason football quickly found out that's not why you should visit. I had to coach the wait staff to turn on the local game, and still has to listen to CMT as a backdrop instead of the game. The food is pretty good but service can be very slow when they're busy. Folks are nice and welcoming, which helped me get comfortable. The prices are pretty good here. But if you come, just understand what this place is and is not. It's good for drinks and socializing, and that's why you should come. Also, social distancing is pretty much non-existent based on my experience.

4k Quality TV project local professional sport venues.

Everything at Lansdowne Inn is engineered towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The renovations at the restaurant has many genuine features highlighting the past train station depot that dovetails into the perfect atmosphere. It is well organized and very clean, every inch has amazing details. The food and drink selection is extensive and everything we had was prepared to perfection. The views of the big screens are amazing and there are plenty of interesting local folks to talk to from the area. We will be back here often. Lansdowne Inn all the way!!

Cheap beer, but bartender didn't know how to make a margarita. Cheesesteak subs are a must, I get them every time!

I don't write reviews lightly, but what happened at Willy's has crossed every line of safety,…read moreprofessionalism, and basic human decency. My fiancé and I have supported this local spot for years. It used to be a reliable go-to. But over time, something shifted--and now I know exactly what it is: the cook, Laura. On 11/28, I ordered steak and eggs. What I was served was not just unappetizing--it was dangerous. The steak smelled rancid, oozed a grayish liquid, and had visible discoloration. We flagged it immediately. Today, we returned to follow up and were horrified to learn that Laura had been explicitly told not to use those steaks because they were spoiled--and she served them anyway. Let that sink in. Why wasn't the meat discarded? Why did she knowingly serve it? Is she untrained, negligent, or something worse? And more importantly--why is she still employed? This isn't an isolated incident. Months ago, I stopped in for a quick lunch and became violently ill within the hour. I had to pull over to vomit and missed an important business meeting. I suspected something was off then, and from that point on, I would call ahead to make sure Laura wasn't cooking. Recently, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. There's a level of disregard here that feels personal. When I asked to speak with her after learning about the spoiled meat, the staff refused and smirked like it was a joke. It's not. This could have led to hospitalization--or worse. This is a public health issue. Laura's actions were reckless, and the restaurant's failure to act is inexcusable. I'm mortified, furious, and deeply disappointed. Willy's was once a place I proudly supported. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until there's accountability, I won't be back--and I urge others to think twice before risking their health here.

The food came at a reasonable time. Food was good but some things were much better than others. The skillet cornbread was heavily! Biscuits were good but the apple butter had a weird taste I didn't care for. I would have preferred them with jam. I also had the fried catfish and grits. The catfish was so good. The grits were good too but the gravy on the grits were a little salty and way too peppery. Because of that, I couldn't fully enjoy my grits. Also, for bottomless drinks (mimosas and sangrias), it would be great if they had pitchers and carafes because when the bar got backed up, some of the ladies at my table and I would have to wait for long periods for our glasses to be refilled. Overall, a great brunch. It has potential to be so much better. I do plan to return and I hope my next visit will be better.

The drinks were HUGE but not very strong. I did get a little plastic duck with my cocktail which was very cute, though. The service was attentive and always around if you needed something. Food comes out quickly, I didn't wait more than 10-15 minutes for anything to come out. Overall, Food and Drinks: 8.5/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 7/10

They live very close to a location there, and we got pizza to go when I was visiting them one time maybe in 2022. The pizza was very good as I recall. Then, I saw there was a location of Primanti Bros. opening in Linthicum Heights near BWI Airport, the first location in the Baltimore-DC area. They were having a grand opening on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, where the 1st 100 customers were going to get free sandwiches for year. I live about 13 miles from here, and I toyed with the idea of trying to be one of the first 100. But I opted against as even if I got there at 6 AM for the 10 or 10:30, whatever grand opening time, and there's still no guarantee I'd be the 1st 100. And I'd be pissed that I drove all the way there and stood there for hours to get nothing in the end. Not to mention, I had work too (although on average probably slower due to also Juneteenth holiday), which I could do from out there to a certain extent. Ultimately, I had emailed them, and they said the 100th customer got there at approximately 4 AM that morning! That's insane. This place really has a cult following! A friend, who knew I lived in AA County, loves this place and mentioned the idea of meeting up with me one Sunday to watch a Ravens game, and him and his fiancée (wife as of March 2025) went up there a few times to watch game or other reasons they went that way. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, like Juneteenth the holiday Primanti Bros. opened, it was Rosh Hosannah, and that friend who had off (as he works in a school & they get the Jewish holiday) off invited me to lunch with another friend of ours. My work was slow that day, and I needed to eat lunch somewhere anyway. I probably would've eaten lunch at home or close to home if they hadn't thought to invite me. So, I drove the 13 miles from home to meet up with them. Those two friends were kind of high. Well sure, it was a holiday they were off work. And they were hungry too! I was hungry too because well it was lunchtime. Service was prompt & friendly answering our questions. However, server was a bit of a klutz as she accidentally spelled some water got a bit on one friend. Geez, was she the one who was high?!...just kidding, it's just one of those accidents that can happen being a server. She was apologetic. My friend took it with stride having a positive attitude. I believe I got a pastrami sandwich, but could've been corned beef. Their sandwiches are big, pilled high with lots of meat & delicious too. I can really see why the following for this place with the quantity but also the high quality. Fries were plentiful too, which were also delicious. I ate well that day for lunch and was quite full. I went to an event that evening, and I think I just ate something small/snack for dinner that night after I got home around 9 PM. This was a great service with excellent plentiful sandwiches & fries and nice service.

Staff stays on top of everything, too. Drinks refilled, plates cleared, questions answered... they're attentive without hovering. And the table‑side ordering system is killer. It makes the whole experience smoother, faster, and honestly kind of fun. No waiting around, no flagging anyone down--you're in control. Yard House nails the combo of great food, great service, and great atmosphere. It's the kind of place you walk out of thinking, "Yep, we're coming back."

The bar was full, warm, and welcoming, even though only one bartender, Brianna, was working because everyone else had called out sick. Brianna was clearly exhausted, running back and forth nonstop, yet she handled everything with grace and ease. Watching her deliver a five-star experience completely on her own was truly impressive. Her energy was upbeat and welcoming, she maintained great eye contact, knew the menu inside and out, had an incredible memory, and didn't make a single mistake--all while smiling the entire time. The food and drinks were just as outstanding. I absolutely loved the pizza--its thin crust was made to perfection, crispy yet light, and packed with flavor. I also enjoyed a kale romaine Caesar salad, while my brother had pasta. Our drinks were perfectly made, everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful, and there was hardly any wait at all. We were genuinely impressed and incredibly grateful. Brianna truly went above and beyond, and her exceptional service deserves recognition.

Vibes were comfy and cozy, with a neighborhood bar feel where if you're a regular they probably know your name and drink order. Not just the crispy halloumi bits but the actual noodles and sauce as well. I got the brazillian picanha and though there was a miscommunication about the meat temp, it was promptly handled and I enjoyed the steak itself. The sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus however were a little weak compared to the steak itself. I can't explain it but the seasoning felt a bit off on the horseradish mashed potatoes. Dessert was excellent- we split the chocolate guava tart.
