I just paid $18 for the most disappointing breakfast ever! a lot of money for awful food. That aside, my server Sarah was fantastic. Not her fault the food is disappointing. I ordered a side of bacon (that was good) and a side of gluten free pancakes (2) which was served on a butter plate. Now why they didn't combine the two on one dinner plate, I have no idea. It would have made it more appetizing. The pancakes weren't that great and I only ate half of them. With the lemonade ice tea, it came to $18. The iced tea was pretty tasteless, would not recommend that. I would have been better off going to MacDonalds. At least their breakfast isn't $18! I saw other breakfasts coming out that looked a lot better. Huge mistake ordering what I did. I won't go back. It wasn't that busy, seating is in booth style. Plenty of servers which is refreshing. I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelette for my son and I. While I was eating I could smell and taste bacon each time I took a bite. I specifically ordered a vegetarian omelette because I am vegetarian. These are the problems we had: First there was only one server. Every time we come in there is a lack of wait staff. Second, the cook came out and was very aggressive when addressing my husband and I. We understand that meat products will be cooked on the same grill. Went in and got sat down to a table. They seemed friendly. We ordered our drinks and then the waitress came back to take our food order. After that we didn't see her for a while. I had to ask someone else for our food. I noticed a couple who sat down AFTER us got got their food first. Ok...I am SUPER picky about my food (ask my husband) so I don't understand the reviews here. We have been coming here for the past year and our food and service have always been good. The people who work here have the best attitudes no matter how busy and get our orders right. I love that there is a gluten free option for pancakes and waffles and they are delicious. What a terrible disappointment, we waited for our food for over 45 minutes this morning before needing to leave in order to get my wife to work on time. We felt terrible for the young waitress who was embarrassed by the situation. We explained that we needed to leave and the manager came out with our food wanting us to pay for it and take it with us, we said no thank you and they began to find our ticket so they could charge us for our coffee. First time at this location. It was not a good experience. The glasses were filthy, it took forever to get our food and when we did it was not hot. I sent mine back because the eggs were messed up and the rest was cold. I get new eggs and they reheated the food that was cold so now it looked gross. I asked for fresh turkey bacon and hash brown which eventually came out. One bite of the bacon and it tasted like there was something wrong with it and the hash browns were undercooked. My stomach started hurting pretty quickly after that and I was sick most of the night. Never once did a Manager come talk to us which I find to be terrible customer service. Service here is just like it is at Denny's. It's slow, inefficient, and customer service is subpar. I'm amazed that IHOP hires these kinds people. Don't get me wrong their nice people but terrible at their jobs. If I were to assume the positive I'd say it's terrible hiring practices which isn't to surprising. The food is what you would expect from a place like this. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you are big on customer service and amazing food, you won't finder ether here. Probably the worst run IHOP I have ever been in. Even during COVID, on multiple occasions, there were issues handling our table and others at less than 100% capacity. So I can't imagine it will get any better now that we are back up to 100%. We went on 3/17 at 9:30 am. There was a line 6 waiting in the lobby for service. The host was seen walking around filling up coffee for two tables prior to even acknowledging the people up front. The manager was in and out of the kitchen three times and looked at the lobby and didn't bother helping anyone out. This is a common occurrence. I recently had breakfast a few mornings this week. I have to say, I don't see the reason for such negative reviews. One, this is IHOP. Adult fast food. I love their pancakes, and always have. I travel the country for work and often eat at IHOP. Again, it's adult convenience. If people are wanting five start service, most if not all,l chain stores don't offer that , it's adult convenience, right? Most restaurants don't provide a five star service or anything remotely close to perfect. Wait, even high dollar restaurants aren't consistent. But I assume most of you negative ninny's already know this. Regardless, my visit was great. The staff attentive and the food was good. That's why we go out to eat. My visit was perfect, both days. Most importantly, I can tell the employees care and working hard to make a great customer experience. Final thoughts, If a team, or staff, at a restaurant is short handed, struggling, where ever you are, remind yourself that they are trying. Most servers don't get paid much, but they still try to provide a great level of service. I don't believe people go to work hoping to have a challenging day. Two, no one typically goes to work to do a bad job. Please, remember to be kind. Tell them you see their busy, and that you see they're trying to do a good job. Maybe, just maybe, you'll make their day and help them feel better which just might help keep them going in the midst of a very challenging day. The silverware was dirty. I opened multiple packs (six maybe?) and all of the silverware was unacceptable. Some of it had what appeared to be water spots and some actually had food stuck to it. The bowl with cream containers in it had food/beverage splatters both inside and outside, the outside of the coffee pot also was splattered. The waiter kept bringing new packs of silverware, offered plastic ware and when I declined, he asked what I wanted. My response was that I wanted silver ware that was clean and not cleaned by me.
