Came here with my elderly grandparents. We had the unfortunate experience of having Hailie as our server. Food was good but somewhat cold. My Grandmother made a comment regarding her professional appearance as she had a white substance on her nose. Alongside the jittery and jaw clenching symptoms it's clear ihop has fallen far. We only intended to help her clean up and didn't intend to criticize anyone. We were met with an anxiety filled correction on her part about the substance. Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible on her part. I will be contacting HR and possibly the authorities to look into this ihop and its management. After 3 years living in Maricopa, my boyfriend and I finally decided to go to Ihop. Despite the bad reviews we wanted to give it a try but unfortunately I would not recommend. The staff were so nice and helpful but the food was not good. My boyfriend ordered a vanilla milkshake that tasted so off to the point that he didn't want to drink it. I had chicken and pancakes that tasted like they were missing something. I can't put my finger on it, but the food was not good. I always order coffee but when I seen the coffee canister it's poured from disgusting. They are all displayed on the tables and they are dirty. The spoons are dirty. I asked for plastic silverware and asked for apple juice in a to go cup. I will never set foot in this place. I blame management for this. read more

Don't support this restaurant. The manager Taylor does not care if your mother dies. She will exclude you in good mornings, not associate with you cause she thinks you're LYING and not care about your grief and proceed to text her employee 2 days after a death that the bathroom needs to be cleaned because she got cited. What restaurant do you know the DISHWASHER is responsible for cleaning bathrooms, cleaning all 3 walk-ins, scraping floors/ ceilings, cleaning the parking lot and doing other projects that are not in the dishwasher job description for 6 days a week. After only taking a week off, my husband comes back to a crappy work environment and needed to leave early to pick up her ASHES and she proceeds to tell him NO NO NO the other dishwashers suck so he needs to stay. Our son got sick yesterday and I needed to go to school since I've missed so much so he can go to work and she proceeds to tell him this is becoming an issue after his mother just died???? I confronted her about her unethical personality, and she continues to lie saying she told him happy Father's Day when she did not, she excluded him from that as well. Hired another dishwasher to put him at 3 days. Mom died June 1st it's only 20 days after. Unprofessional & heartless and let's not talk about how passive aggressive she is with you if anything in your life is an inconvenience for her. This is coming from a wife who has seen the toll how losing your mother can be on a person and she only cares about the bathrooms and working cause the other dishwashers suck. What a manager!!!! Uhhh, not sure where to start. I should point out nothing was the fault of the server, who was physically injured but working like a boss despite that and being by herself. She was very sweet and took care of us. The ordering did take awhile, but I guess really, upon coming in, because the restaurant was dirty while the place was slow (again, not the injured server's fault--we've all been there as a server at least once), and my steak tips and rice were cold -- the food still tasted good. The salad has a very starchy texture, and the lettuce tasted like I was eating dirt. It was an odd, unpleasant texture and smell. My son enjoyed his bacon burger while my husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy with pancakes on the side. They both said theirs were warm. Would I come back? Well, my wife and I have not been out to eat in so very long. Maybe over two or three years. I am a permanently disabled vet, out for breakfast today with my wife. We both order of the 55 and over menu since this is the case. I had the French toast with a piece of bacon, and a sausage link. The bacon looked as if instead of putting this in the trash, since it was totally burn and in three pieces. It was put on my plate with a small burnt sausage ling. Took forever to get my coffee she just tossed some creamer on the table and then when I asked if the had the creamer I wanted she said sure and walked off. After sitting a waiting but not getting the creamer I asked for I just gave in and tried to make my coffee with the creamer she gave me but come to find it was pointless to do so because we were never given silverware. The person I was with had to get up and grab silverware off another table just so we could make our cups of coffee. Came here for Father's Day! I was blown away by how good the food was! Can't go wrong with hot coco and whipped cream. Their crepe is sooo good too! I got it with hash browns, eggs, and sausage. They definitely use higher quality eggs compared to Dennys! My partner got the cinnamon roll pancake and it was really good. Our waiter was super chill, and I loved his vibe! He made our Father's Day extra special. There was only like 3 other tables with costumers when we went. We actually thought it was closed when we first arrived, but it was open! Very nice and quiet. I love their interior design and how clean everything is. Definitely wayyyy better than the Denny's in Maricopa! I'll be coming here more! Atmosphere - They need to redesign the path to enter the building. Just finding it from the parking lot is not logical. I find path to the door a maze or switchbacks, difficult to enter the place. Stairs and a switchback system is needed. You can tell they added pavers to help but those are just as bad. Functional inside, nothing to exciting. The COVID partitions made of wood are still between the booths. Food - At brunch I usually go for breakfast items and there was nothing different today. I was going with the Lemon Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes and stopped looking. Then I was informed about the Lemon Ricotta Blueberry French Toast, yes please. When it arrived my eyes lit up. I think the lemon and ricotta compliment each other perfectly. Not today as the lemon was over powered by the ricotta to the point of no lemon zing. I also had a side of two sausage links, I wanted the plant based sausage panties but they were out. Service - Again we arrived before our kids with their babies. The host knew exactly what we needed for seating and asked if we need the slings for the car seats. He went to setup the table. By the time he came back the group was ready to be seated. Our waitress was great. Our waitress told us that they are out of the plant based panties a lot, must be popular and needs to be ordered by management more. Christmas Eve, 2024. We walked in and we were greeted by a young gentleman, who was hustling and bustling about the restaurant the whole time we were there. He had a table of 6 (I believe, it might have been 5) with two children, and a table of 4, and then us two. Taking orders, running the food, getting refills, checking in, and bussing his own tables. No one else there except for a crew of probably 2 cooks, if I had to guess. Anyway, we ordered the turkey club and a ranch bacon avocado burger, both with fries. We both cleaned our plates. Then I tried to pay online using the app, and realized I had a free burger/sandwich. He helped me with checking us out and getting my code redeemed. We ended up tipping him the cost of the free burger/sandwich and then some. What a great dinner that we didn't have to cook. Thank you to the gentleman and his team.
