I've lived in Maricopa for 9 years & today was the first time I've experienced this restaurant. This lovely diner will now be a place we eat at on a regular basis. They have a sign in the restaurant that reads. "Bringing Families Back to the dinner table one meal at a time." It's happening hear! We had brunch & it was by far one of the best brunches we've had. You'll see from my review history we eat out often as an escape out of Maricopa & I don't want frugal people wasting their money for clicks. We were seated immediately. The food took about 20 minutes but it was hot & good. My husband enjoyed his meal.

My husband and I tried Roots Eatery for breakfast this morning and it did not disappoint. We both had our own little French Press for our coffee. You can't beat French Press coffee...it was delicious! I ordered the Garden Scramble with Hashbrowns. It came with a lot of feta cheese, which I love. It was a great breakfast. My husband did confuse our waitress ordering a custom omelet, so maybe ordering off menu is not the best idea. Other than the confusion the food was great. The Service was friendly. The restaurant is small, but very cute and nicely decorated. We look forward to going again.

Visited a long time ago whilst looking for homes in Maricopa, AZ. Wanted food that was fresh and not heavy. Shared their burger with awesome fries and a Bloody Mary. Wow! The staff was great and did not rush us. Very cute and nostalgic ambiance.

Located in the corner by Dominos Pizza. Great patio area. We ate outside. We had the classic cheeseburger and fries. They split the burger without us asking. Well played. Great burger and fried. Very good.

This place is a gem and would highly recommend it. First, service is great. Thank you Tyler. We had crab cakes, fig & fontina skillet and the roots salad. ALL DELISH. Looking forward to trying the rest of this amazing menu.

Well...we liked it so much we ate here twice in one day, once for breakfast and again for dinner. We were staying at Ak Chin Ang and wanted to try a local establishment. We are so happy we did. Breakfast was fantastic and the coffee was phenomenal. We came back for dinner and we were totally impressed. My steak was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. Fantastic!! My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. We are so happy we tried Roots Eatery!! We will be back.

Roots eatery has quickly became our favorite brunch spot! Everything we've tried on the menu so far has been great!! I love their panini sandwiches and the fries are always crispy and flavorful. You order at the front counter and they bring out your food. There indoor and outdoor seating which is really nice when AZ starts having this cooler weather. It's a cozy spot, very welcoming!

The weather was perfect for sitting outside. Patio was clean and we were greeted and sat right away. Service is always friendly and welcoming. My sister and I shared this salad plus the Mahi Mahi with asparagus, a baked potato, and a dessert. I would've gotten a picture of the rest but I was ready to dive in. We were both well fed and very happy with our visit

I'm not normally a fan of order-at-the-counter venues, but this one was very nice. Great service, friendly team, food served on real plates. The Hubbs tried the Inside Out burger (it's a cheeses-stuffed burger) and they let him substitute Swiss cheese. I had the Brie and fig jam grilled sandwich. Both served with fries. We will definitely return to try breakfast - especially the Benny that are only served weekends.

Slow and steady, this really warmed us and hit the spot.

This gem of a restaurant is absolutely fantastic…read more It's a little difficult to get to if you don't know the directions, but it's in an old-timey building that was once a consignment store. It's cool though because it's rustic while providing outdoor seating both upstairs and downstairs. This place kind of looks like a barn but in a very vintage, very cool way. The space within is open and comfortable; tables are reasonably distanced from each other, there's a stage with a drum set and mic for live music, and country themed string lights wrapped around the stair rails and upstairs banisters. Country music plays in the background and on the TVs above the stage while sports play on other screens across the restaurant. Shelby was very nice. When we initially arrived, she was the only server, so her manager stepped in to take our orders and help. I love this because more managers should be hands on and help their employees. I can't speak for the drink menu while I'm sober, but the food is as roadhouse as you get, but in a great way that isn't generic. You can taste the smoky flavor in the sliders from the sampler and even in the baseball sirloin. The meat is very tender. Even the chicken in the sampler was moist and tender. The cowboy bites were addictive with cheesy goodness and mushroom juice exploding on your tongue. Not a fan of the asparagus, which I felt was bland and overcooked, but asparagus is very difficult to get right, even among experienced cooks. The potatoes had too much garlic, but my husband liked them, so I guess that comes down to subjectivity. He loved the ribs. Excellent service and food for a moderate price. The steaks can get up there in price, so be prepared to dig a little deep, but everything is appropriately priced for what you're receiving. On our way out, a server greeted a pair of customers with genuine excitement: "Oh you're back!" And they told her they returned because of her. I think more people should understand that customers get attached to servers. So good service matters for more than a review or requirement. It makes people feel good, and it makes the servers feel good too when the service is genuine. I am inclined to agree. Everything about this restaurant was excellent.

The side salad that came with the main was fine (3.5/5). The chicken itself was pretty good (4.25/5); the chimichurri added an excellent flavor. However, the vegetables were clearly frozen (2/5). The service was very slow (2/5); we waited quite a while to order and to get our appetizers and mains. Also, our drinks were empty for most of the time. The ambiance is ok (3/5), but it's a little loud inside.

The Duke At Rancho El Dorado Golf Course - Monte Christo! Good, but I'm used to an eggish batter similar to French Toast! I think either butter or oil was used!
