We were looking to have a nice dinner in town and we found it, it is inside the casino so it is a more loud causal environment. The service we received was amazing, our waitress was wonderful with her recommendations and descriptions of the dishes. Starting with the oak lobster dip, I am not a fan of mushrooms however, these were big enough for you to simply pick out, and the dip was amazing! I loved the idea of the build your own pasta, starting with their numerous noodle options. The vodka sauce was delicious. O&F tagliata cooked well and a yummy salsa verde topped it. Drinks were also great! We will definitely be back again.

This restaurant is located inside the Ak-Chin casino. There is free parking (casino/hotel parking). Pros Food was excellent. We tried a variety of things (all sort of shareable small plates but each was certainly big enough for a meal) and the ingredients on the charcuterie board (which you can customize yourself at $3.95/ounce per item, minimum 6 ounces) were all good. The menu has a nice selection of various items. House cabernet is Sterling for $10/glass which is a decent wine at a decent price. There is also a Dau option for $14/glass. You can use your Caesars rewards points here. Cons Service was a little underwhelming. Water glasses and wine glasses set empty. Our charcuterie order was given to the table next to us so when we received ours, it was a bunch of stuff we didn't order but they made it right and added the items we wanted without charging more. The host said they don't take reservations when we asked at 4pm (that's what time they open) but when we returned at 6pm and asked if we could have a particular table, they then said it had been reserved by another party. Hrm. Confusing. The tables are almost all very low (like coffee tables) which was find for us because we were doing a bunch of shareable items and liked being close enough to talk to each other, but not everyone wants to balance food to their mouth. If you prefer a standard table, this may not be your place. Although we arrived at 6pm and the restaurant opened at 4pm, they were out of several items for the charcuterie board (two types of meat and one type of cheese) already and were out of the tacos. They don't substitute anything. I wanted the salad but can't have lactose cheese (it comes with burrata) and asked if they could sub goat cheese instead. The answer was no. Not sure why that would have been a problem but apparently it was. I was told by the server they will happily remove things and still charge you the same price as if you'd received them but they won't substitue. There are very limited vegetarian/vegan options. There is no happy hour (apparently there used to be but they got rid of it). Hours are quite limited so check before showing up. We weren't given any type of cocktail or wine list when we were seated so I had to ask what the house wine was. Not sure if they have one or not, but no one offered one to us. Overall - Despite the numerous cons, I'd definitely go back for the food alone. It truly is the best meal at the resort and I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

What a lovely venue! We appreciated their beverage options and signature cocktails. This is a tapas style restaurant. Our group opted for some bruschetta and Brussels sprouts. Freshly made mozzarella! Very yummy. The drinks were beautiful! Service was superb! Of course it's pricey- it's in the casino. The one suggestion for improvement is their charcuterie board - they have dozens of options and you order by the ounce. That was just too much to figure out for our group of 5- please offer a few base options with the ability to add-on!

My boyfriend and I recently visited, and even though we aren't big drinkers, we wanted to feel a little bougie and try a wine flight. This place took my breath away. Between the gorgeous lighting and the cozy, romantic atmosphere, it felt purely magical. We chose to sit on the patio, and it felt like stepping into an enchanted garden. We started with the "Pick 3" Bruschetta, opting for the Pear & Gorgonzola (drizzled with local honey) and the Caprese. The Caprese was top-notch, but the Pear & Gorgonzola blew our minds--sweet, crispy toppings on phenomenal bread. For my main, I had the Applewood Smoked Ham and Brie on a brioche bun. It was massive! I ended up taking more than half of it home. The quality was outstanding; they really knocked it out of the park with the flavor balance. We went with the Sparkling Flight, which featured: Chandon Demi-Sec (my fella's absolute favorite--he ended up ordering a full glass!) Chandon Garden Spritz (My personal winner; I had to get a full glass of this) House Prosecco Pascual Toso Brut The service was great. Our server was attentive but gave us plenty of space to just be together. While the service was a bit on the slower side, it perfectly matches the vibe of the bar--there's no rush here. It's a place designed for you to slow down and enjoy the company you're with. The food is amazing, the service rocks, and the atmosphere is beyond perfect. You won't be disappointed if you give Mandy's a shot!

Everything we ordered was overly salty, and while the pizza crust itself was good, the inside was burnt and had the texture and taste of a pita chip. It just wasn't enjoyable. Service was also lacking. It took a long time to place our order because our server was in the back talking with coworkers, and once our food arrived, no one checked in on us. We were seated in the back near the kitchen and outside door, despite there being plenty of open seats elsewhere, and it honestly made us feel a bit discarded. I had high hopes and truly wanted this to be a new favorite spot, but overall it was a poor experience

Everyone else chooses the barstools and hightop tables or the patio. We were only outside once, when my ankle was broken and it was tough to get around. But, I digress. Maybe the cozying adds to the delight of our foodie experience at Sip. We don't drink but they make a lovely Shirley Temple that compliments all that chef-made goodness. Her menu is always shifting and we love the creativity. One of the mainstays, though, is the meatball appetizer. The beef is tender and flavorful and the homemade marinara as complimented by a perfect cheese pull. We'll get that and one other item - a charcuterie board, bread and/or veggies and a dip, or some other interesting app. Sometimes we get a salad, but order dressing on the side because we like it light. As lovely as Sip is, I don't know if people are impractical or enamored enough to drive a half hour up a mountain to enjoy that tiny establishment. So, it feels like a happy place to be around locals. Estrella is growing but not so much that we've ever felt crowded out at Sip. It's homey and warm and a relaxing place to feel at home, on our special couch. Please don't sit at our couch. lol

In this Saturday afternoon my mother-in-law just got back from her trip to Greece. Normally someone would just sleep this day away, but she arrived rejuvenated. Let's go to Windmill Winery she insisted. Who was I to disagree?. We arrived on a lovely Saturday afternoon and had a quick walk around. The birds strategically placed all around the grounds was a nice touch. The koy feeding pound was nice with its running water providing some soothing ambient noise. We order a couple of bottles of wine and a couple of charcuterie boards. The options on the boards were very nice. The disappointing part is that it wasn't on a board. It came in a Styrofoam box. While not a big deal, it did take away from the ambiance and winery feel. Sorry, I don't remember the exact names of the bottles but I will do my best to distinguish them. Also... I'm a bit of a wine snob, but know nothing about wine. I just know what I like. I will start with the Pinot Grigio that's made at this winery. It had a bit of a sweet tinge to it. Not overpowering but definitely hits you on the back end. It was ok, but I don't really care for a sweetness in most my wines. We also had another Pinot Grigio that was not made at that location. That was more to my liking, with a nice dry back to it and a bit of bitterness. We also had a sweet white. I remember this one because they didn't really qualify it a Syrah, Reisling, or Moscato. They compared to a Reisling but I feel it was more adjacent to a Syrah. It was berry forward. Not for me but my grandmother loved it. After the two bottles we drank by the glass. My wife and I stuck with the imported Pinot and my in-law la stuck with the Syrah adjacent. We also ordered one of their flat bread pizzas. While it seemed as if they didn't really have much of a kitchen the pizza was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed it. As it got later in the afternoon people began to leave. We were among the last to start to leave, but as we were walking out you could see cars began to arrive and they were in the stages of setting up for an even event with a band. I will surely return for that. I love live music and pair with wine and food... well then you just stole my heart. Great place to visit.
