This is one of the worst restaurants I have been to recently. The smell when you walk in the door should have made me turn around and walk right out. It's was that high school locker room smell. Nasty! Went there for a birthday dinner with the wife and kids. I ordered the Monte Christo wrap. It appeared decent but when I got home, stomach issues. Woke up the next day, more issues. This review is for a server Eric. Crazy good. Eric went above and beyond with customer service. He not only kept up on his tables, he checked on everyone else's that was lacking. Our order was wrong twice. Managers had to step in to correct order. Eric was apologetic to every customer that's order was made by the kitchen staffs error. Not a good experience. First of all the place smells. I'm not sure if it is their cleaner or what but it has a strong odor. It did appear clean although my menu was sticky. I'm not expecting five stars from this chain or anything but the bacon was inedible. I can only think that it was premade, froze, and then reheated. How could bacon be inedible??? I walked in this morning an placed a Togo order. Nothing fancy. Couple omelets with hashbrowns. Asked how long. 15 to 20 minutes. Paid. Left to make a quick run to grocery store. Came back and sat down. I finally got my food after 1 hour and 2 minutes. I was not the only person waiting this long. Came in on a saturday which I understand is busy, but we got there at 10:30am, seated at 10:45am, took about 10min to order so 10:55am. It's 11:50 and our food still hasn't dropped (2 adults, 2 children). Whatever is going on in thier kitchen they need to fix it. The server the best she could but at the end of the day, this is unacceptable. I will not return and will discourage other from going. I strongly recommend they look at thier staffing and and determine if they are truly fit to meet demand of thier own business. read more

The service was great. Food was good. The only issue I had wasnthe frigid temperature. It felt like we were dining in a walk-in freezer. I was literally shivering. The AC blows down directly on you and your food. Our hot food was made cold quickly thanks to this. They seriously need to fix this. I was there on Sunday morning 08012021. It didn't seem too busy. The waiter got my order in relatively fast. He forgot to pick up the menu, I asked for half and half for my cup of coffee and brought me vanilla, the table I was sitting at was not balanced some one had folded menus and try to balance the table from down under its legs...everything I just mentioned is meaninglessness compare to what he brought me...he brought me a cup of coffee with a faint lining of red lipstick on the brim of the cup. I didn't see at first because I was worried about the unstable table and cup falling and spilling all over. Yes, I drank out of it and as I was placing the cup down, I saw the red lining of red lip stick. I'm no COVID 19 expert but shouldn't the restaurant focus on cleanliness? I spoke to the manager and she offered me a fresh cup of coffee but and as I was complaining to her she seem nonchalant on her responses. She didn't seem to care. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would, in all honesty. Walking in to see almost all the tables and booths dirty was the first red flag, then after waiting 30+ minutes for a PLAIN CHEESEBURGER to come out and be smothered in some house made sauce was the second. At this point I wasn't going to wait another half hour for a burger so I asked them to politely remove it from the bill as I don't have time to wait for another, so I decide to order a milkshake. 10 minutes later I get an overflow of whipped cream and Hershey's chocolate syrup in a glass, milkshake was good while it lasted. Looked down in the cup once I tasted whipped cream to realize that over half of my "milkshake" was in fact aerosol-can whipped cream. Long story shorter, the only one who enjoyed food out of the 3 of us was my 7 year old brother, who got pancakes and bacon. Easy to say if you don't want to basic simple breakfast food, don't waste your time or money on this dirty place and their lazy wait staff. P.S- tables were just as dirty when I left :) read more

Cold food, not cooked as ordered and even forgotten food and even though they said they knew it was missing, never had it cooked and brought out later (or even asked if we wanted it .... of coarse we wanted it, we ordered it and were charged for it!!!!). Slow slow SLOW service. Okay food. But when the waiter tried carrying too many items and my husband's philly cheesesteak ended up smothered in whipped cream, I knew we were in trouble. The waiter was nice and apologized. But in the end, it took more than 15 minutes to bring out the new one and by then we were more than halfway done eating. Overpriced. The side salad was $4 and consisted of a couple of sad pieces of lettuce and a tomato slice. We won't be back. We've had better food and service at the local Denny's. read more

Don't waste your time or money! It was a slow night with approximately five tables full. There were four waitstaff on duty. When we received our food it was cold and not as ordered. I watch customers get up from their table and go into the back room to get service. I asked three wait staff before finally receiving the rest of my order. Spoke to the manager about the horrible service who was completely non complacent. He just stood there looking at me like he didn't care. No expression, no apologies, no words. This restaurant needs to be completely restaffed starting with the manager before I return. Apparently the server knows best as I ordered a Tilapia Florentine Dinner with a side salad and I specifically stated that I wanted my two sides to be sautéed spinach and steamed broccoli... The server decide that I ordered too much spinach since the tilapia comes with creamed spinach. I received mashed potatoes. What a disappointment... THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Just to think, I tipped the guy for bad service. This is just one of the many reasons I do not eat IHOP and DENNY'S!!! read more

This is the sixth time we have gone and every time we go, it takes over twenty five minutes for our food to come out of the kitchen. Half the time, when it does arrive is is cold. It was either Denny's or here. We came in and there was not a host to be seen. There was about 9 people waiting to be seated. The place did not look busy at all. There was a bunch of seats available and a bunch that was empty but with dirty dishes. I'm assuming she was the manager, not very friendly or apologetic at all, sat us down. Waitress took 10 minutes to acknowledge us, just to say she will be right back, didn't even take our drink order. Took another 10 minutes to actually take our order. Our food didn't come for another 20 minutes. I don't think I'll be coming back at this establishment. There was a bunch of people who were waiting to be seated, just left. Food was ok, service was not. Management should be the blame, for being so understaffed and for the tables not being cleared and cleaned right away!! This review was for 2/14/2019, about 3:30 AM. We had been coming here several times b/c we lived close by. Before the last visit, we would say that we had enjoyed our food and the service. The last time we went, someone in the kitchen had partially cooked our steak in the microwave; it tasted and smelled awful. The eggs that we ordered with our steak were not what we ordered. My burger was cold and my fries were like tree barks. Since then we haven't been back. We don't know if we could stomach their food any more. Please let us know when you have hired better cook and staff. This part of the review is for 3/16/2019 @3pm. We decided to give this establishment another try. Another sad Mistake! We ordered chicken and waffles; according to its picture on the menu, there were 2 little cups on the plate with 4 chicken strips. We also ordered IHOP pancake sliders; we asked for the maple syrup to be on the side. When IHOP pancake sliders were brought to us there was no syrup at all. When chicken and waffles were brought out there was no little cup and there was no butter for the waffles. We asked the caucasian female server if she was bringing the 2 cups and butter out later? With an attitude, she said, If you ask for it. We asked her to bring us a menu and the manager on duty. We told the caucasian female manager, looking at the picture on the menu, that server didn't ask us when we ordered if we wanted the cups, we had the assumption that our order would come with what were shown on the plate and not with an attitude! We didn't realize when the menu said, 4 chicken strips, one of it would be almost the side of my thumb, showed in pictures. At the end the manager apologized, took care of our meal and gave us 4 chicken strips more. Eric came to give us containers and for that we tipped him $5. We don't think we will be back. My wife and I really like IHOP, however, we were sorely disappointed with the the service once we were greeted and seated; we left unattended for 10 minutes. Another server who was not assigned to our stationed table graciously offered to take care of us not knowing who or where our server was. First time in, just wanted to give it a try. I got the biscuits and gravy with sausage links and hash browns with scrambled eggs. The eggs were more like an omelet with the burnt edges still on, there must be a gravy shortage that I'm unaware of because there wasn't enough gravy on both biscuits to suffice for one biscuit. The plate was dropped off by a lady in a hurry and didn't wait around to see if I needed anything, like the ketchup required to be able to stomach the badly cooked eggs. Ordered online approx 2 weeks ago from the location in Maricopa AZ. Turned out items were left out of the order. The food received was very poorly made. Hash browns not crispy. Omelet so flat and small it really should not be called an omelet. Wilted rotten lettuce on a sandwich. Fruit cup consisted of a few pieces in a container equivalent to the little pill cups you see when in the hospital. I called them and asked for the manager. They put the cook on the phone who proceeded to be rude, condescending and argumentative. Then hung up on me. I called back and spoke with the manager. She said she would credit the cost of the meal and in the same breath tried to make excuses for the incident. Called the district manager Taylor Ybarra to report the incident. She assured me she would make sure credit gets issued. Now a few days later no credit has been issued. Apparently the district manager has no ethics or sense of integrity. IHOP will not receive my business ever again. @@@ update .. manager and supposed district manager have both lied. Neither one of them issued credit as promised. Just got off the phone with a corporate office for Ihop and they plan to "investigate". What a joke!! Consumer beware. read more

We then Door Dashed them twice and surprise surprise , both times they screwed up our order. Today we ordered for carry out. We went to pick it up and sat inside for 45 minutes waiting for our food. If I could do no stars I would. I've been to to IHop a couple times. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, the last two times where horrible. The time before the last a friend and I met up to chat and eat. Shortly after we put in our order or server came over and asked if we could pay, she had a "female emergency". Sure I understand. I ordered coffee and a pop, friend ordered food. A different server bought our food out, then no one checked on us again. We were talking so really wasn't paying attention, but noticed mine and her drink was empty. Looked around, saw couple of servers, made eye contact, none came over. About an hour later, a friend that works there came in, I waved and asked loudly if he would be our server since we haven't been served in an hour. He came over and apologized, took care of us. The manager never came over. The last time, I met up with another friend for coffee. The waitress started off friendly, smiling laughing. We placed our order and she even made some good suggestions. About 30 minutes later, the "manager" brought out my entree. (I ordered a salad to come out first.) he said OK. About 10 minutes later no salad, no server. She disappeared. I looked around, two other tables sat, three dirty tables and crap on the floor, but no server. I had to walk into the back to get someone to come out of the kitchen, the manager was sitting in the office talking to a server. Long story short, the server ignored us after, the manager never did anything, the server waited on the tables around us and ignored or table. The manager didn't apologize, or comp anything. He was just a young kid who just graduated highschool. Ihop needs to hire better managers, or make the good servers like Erick a manager. read more

I loved ihop in South Bend Indiana. One opened here in Maricopa and we went on a Monday night about 7pm. It was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Service was awful. They were not too busy but the table of people across from us had 3 seated customers and 3 servers returning time after time to the table. It took half an hour to get drinks then another 45 minutes to get our food. The food was over cooked and dry. Never was brought a refill of ice tea. We were so disappointed that we have never gone back. Really don't want to waste time or money read more

I've not been impressed with this location at all. Ive been a few times and the quality of the food is disappointing based on other ihop experiences. My sausage and gravy was very skimpy.
