Great service and food was great but the manager was a complete asshole and treats his employees like crap. I don't know how some of them don't walk out in the middle of the shift. He also got on the overhead microphone so the whole restaurant could hear and wanted to tell his staff to meet in the kitchen for 30 seconds so he can tell them what a good job they were doing but he LIED and You could hear him yelling at his employees across the restaurant in the kitchen about nonsense we understand it's busy but they were doing great. Ihop Bloomington is close to both the Mall of America and Minneapolis international airport and serves the regular Ihop menu sortiment; pancakes, pancakes, pancakes and coffee. The coffee at Ihop is affordable and good, especially as part of their breakfast menu. This is surprising, as the Dennys and Perkins of the world are not normally known for their fine, aromatic java. if you're a pancake lover, you'll love Ihop. read more

Food is very good here. I come every year when I'm in town. Usually very crowded but waits aren't too bad.

This IHOP was a little sketchy at 2am. Staff was friendly and the food was good. I had an omelet which was delicious. I made my own with ham, sausage, cheese and mushrooms. Price seemed a little spendy for IHOP, but it hit the spot that late at night. Forgot to take pictures, but everyone knows what an omelet looks like. Haha read more

Overall though not very flavorful, but a well cooked and put together dish. My buddy got a eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese and it looked good (I didn't try it). And my cousin ordered one of their omelettes. HUGE. Alot of food (I didn't try it either). Everything looked good and our order was correct at arrival. The service was on point. We like to go for breakfast, but they have the tables so close together there, it's a tight squeeze to sit. Them when you cram that many people into so small an area, it gets loud. Really loud. I liked Kali as well as two of my family members. The reasons are: (1.) When we arrived there it was around one o'clock; I went to the restroom and I heard them call the name "Bob." She waited until I went to our table and, then, she said "We were waiting for you" in a pleasant manner; (2.) She came back a couple of times to take our order and then it was taken correctly. (3) She also came back to see if our order was taken correctly (and it was taken correctly) and she also asked us if there were any other things that we desired. She got them efficiently. We waited 45 minutes to sit (this was expected). Once sitting, we waited over an hour to be served. We had 2 small kids with us. The waitress pulled all the stops. She started with "sorry, we have a lot of takeout orders" and finished with "there was a power outage in the back"... meanwhile, we watched 2 other tables completely come and go before we were served. It isn't the most refined food, but the pancakes are always hot, along with the syrup and butter. The food is consistently great and filling, and the service is always good. I have never tried a IHOP before. I loved it. I highly recommend the crepes. I had the Raspberry it was very good. Not artificial tasting. They have many flavors to choose from. Next time I think I'll try the peach and cream cheese one, the lady at the next table had it and it looked awesome. Service was fine and friendly. Heading out of town we stopped here for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was hot when served. Choices of syrups are available on the table no matter what.
