I was recently in Las Vegas for a trade show, and on the morning of the 2nd (last) day I was there, my computer screen started my day with the dreaded Black Screen of Death. I did as much as I could at my hotel room, but it clearly had gone to the big computer graveyard in the sky. I was about as close to panic mode as you could imagine, and after looking at some of the top-reviewed laptop repair placed on Yelp!, I called ICU Computer Solutions. They were able to not only accept my laptop that morning for service (I drove over & dropped it off around noon), but they were able to not only install a new/replacement (bigger capacity) hard drive, but also managed to successfully save all my critical data, contacts, and photo files that would have been truly disastrous to lose otherwise. I picked up my repaired laptop that evening (thankfully ICU Computer Solutions is open late), and caught my flight to the next destination with a laptop that was at least baseline functional; since returning home I've been able to restore most of my important items to get nearly fully functional again. I'd highly recommend ICU Computer Solutions to anyone in a similar situation for your emergency computer repair. As a great bonus, their prices for the replacement hard drive and labor were entirely reasonable, when it would otherwise be not surprising to see prices much higher for a same-day emergency repair. Came here to fix my 10 year old Asus laptop, but was told that parts needed were not available. They recommended me to find a new laptop. I did some laptop research so I can transfer my programs and files from my old one to the new one. They double checked my laptop of choice to make sure we have the highest success for the data transfer. The data transfer took a bit longer than I would like, about 5-6 business days, but it was worth the wait! If you want quality work, you'll have to be patient to get the best result especially when it comes to expensive devices like laptops. I'm quite ecstatic that all my programs I used from my college days are intact and operational! It saved me hundreds of dollars from having to buy these programs again. I bought a laptop some time ago. It has 1TB of memory. I thought it would be fast like my computer at work. It was taking 2 entire minutes or more to get it started. I asked the IT guy where I work, sent him a few pictures and he suggested a bigger RAM. He sent a few suggestions for new bigger RAM. I chose one but have zero knowledge about how to switch it out. I'm an Apple fanatic who is still using a Powerbook G4 for schoolwork and legacy software whenever I get tired of the bloat of OS Sierra on my intel iMac. I discovered Maui on Yelp after one of my computers wouldn't turn on. I had just moved to the area on a Friday. Saturday morning I turned on my computers. One worked, the other was dead. I found Maui close by via Yelp and, after reading reviews, decided to give him a shot. VERY GLAD I DID! He discovered my motherboard had gone bad. My computer failed when I needed it most. I brought the system to ICU and within 24hrs, they replaced the harddrive, data migrated and windows is working faster than before. They were very professional with me and advised me what can be done and very much on time. Additionally, the fan in my laptop failed and ICU was able to replace the fan and got me working.
