Wow! Lem was wonderful helping me with my idiocy of updating my BIOS 11 with an Intel Graphics Card update. The combo of both running at the same time froze my computer. And after 45 mins with Lenovo (useless), I could NOT restart my laptop. It took Lem less that 30 mins to fix (although it was not looking good when he first saw it). Wow! Lem bailed me out big time. My SSD crashed and luckily I had a backup copy on a HDD made with Acronis. I replaced SSD and I could not get it to recovery. This guy is fast, good and reasonable. He had an estimate for repairs phoned to me later the same day. He ordered parts, they took an extra day to arrive than estimated and the completed repairs were perfect and at the quoted price. He has no room to keep inventory and I thought taking an extra week to pick up would be a problem but he was very gracious and was grateful for my patronage when he could have charged storage. Being Corsair, they're not easy to manage wire-wise and not trusting myself to do it, I figured I'd take it someone who knew what they were doing. And after another great experience about a year ago with another PC that was repeatedly crashing with any minor task (ended up being RAM.), it was an easy choice. Not only were wires hidden and managed very well (given the circumstances), but even 3M'd down a loose SSD I had ziptied down in the system. I looked on their official website and it stated they were open Sundays. (They're really not.) Called the number and explained to them that my laptop is running reallllyyyyyyy slooooowwwww and I might have a couple viruses on there. Basically it needs a good clean up. The owner, Lem, was such a sweetheart. He personally drove to the shop so he can meet me up. On his day off. What great customer service!!! He felt bad since his website wasn't updated. NOTE: they're still closed Sundays. Remember that. I was able to get my laptop back next day (Monday) by the end of business day. He charged $90 to clean up any viruses, adware, cookies + data....and all these other I.T. tech terminologies. He added two virus protection softwares to my laptop too. This little place is tucked in between all the little lingerie stores on Sahara, in between Arville & Valley View. It's not far from our neighborhood. We had a couple problems (crash) with our computer a while ago, so we went here for repairs and both times they were able to recover our data (pictures, documents, etc.) for us. It was relatively pretty quick, on both occasions, and not outrageous price- wise, either. We didn't have any issues at all. We didn't get the run-around. It was pretty straight-forward and professional. We brought over the hard drive, spoke to a rep and explained what happened, got a quote, returned when it was ready a few days later, and paid for the service- an easy process. I used to use this repair shop over ten years ago. Lem and his team always provided excellent service. I moved across the valley and was too lazy to drive, so tried another computer repair. Boy was I sorry! This other company held my computer hostage for almost a month, saying they were getting it done blah blah blah. They finally "fixed" it, lost my old files. The owner is very nice and understanding. I was worried about going to someone who wouldn't care to over price me so I figured this was a safe bet and they are. My laptop had very minimal issues and slow speed. Still I was only charged $25. Again, my laptop had very minimal problems. Only it was enough to go an hour to be able to leave. Very fast errand.
