My laptop inexplicably died and it gave no clues as to what was wrong with it, it was a great device so I didn't want to give up on it so I contacted 10 Star Computers and received a very prompt response from Chris. I explained my problem and was told what the cost would be to resurrect my laptop, if it couldn't be fixed there would be no charge, I had absolutely nothing to lose so dropped my laptop off. The same day I was told that my laptop was fixed and thoroughly updated with drivers etc and the cooling fan had been cleaned too. I just picked up my laptop and it is working like new, I am absolutely delighted. To be honest, I was a little anxious about how things would work out but I had no reason to be, Chris who I dealt with, was as good as his word and keep me informed about progress, etc. Overall my dead laptop is now working like it did the day that I bought it, Chris's prices were very reasonable, and his work quality and service level were exceptional. I wasn't asked to write this review and I am not getting a deal or a discount for writing it. I am writing this review because there are a lot of questionable service providers out there, but Chris is certainly not one of them. If you want excellent quality of service at a very fair price, and want to deal with someone who does exactly what he says he will do, you will not go wrong with 10 Star Computers, Chris will be my first stop for any further computer related needs, I cannot imagine anyone matching the quality of service that I received from Chris and I have no hesitation in giving my recommendation to this outstanding service provider. read more

Where to begin? We've often read reviews on Yelp and wondered to ourselves, are these positive reviews even legit? Well, when it comes to the IT aspect of computers (for which admittedly, I know very little about..) that's where you have to do your "home work". Like many of you here, I visited several computer offerings in the Las Vegas and still didn't know quite who to give my business to. However, I just kept coming back to 10 Star Computers after reading the reviews. I just had to find out for myself if what I read about Chris and his work was the "real deal". Nevertheless, after getting a response back from Chris (like in less than 10 seconds after I submitted my search!), I knew I had found my Computer Guy!! Chris, his professionalism, computer/IT savvy and all the rest were more than I could have hoped for. He is very mindful of your time, he is efficient at not only diagnosing the problem you are having but, getting the job done-all at a very affordable price. In fact, I was shocked at how cost effective he was. I am on a "budget" and he came way below what I had expected (thank you, Chris!). I am actually looking forward to having him do all my future computer maintenance and upgrades going forward. I've left less than 10 reviews over the years on Yelp as I'm very selective on my opinions. I have to say, 10 Star Computers is top notch! Sent a yelp message about a computer issue I was having with my power supply and Chris called within an hour and was over at my house that afternoon. He diagnosed the issue after trial and error and got my up and running in about an hour. I just moved to Las Vegas a week ago and had my tech person in LA who always took care of me. I was worried I would have to find a new person in LV and Chris filled the bill! I cannot recommend this company enough. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Chris is my lifesaver! During my recent move, my home entertainment system was left in complete disarray. I have a 65" Samsung flat-screen that is also used as my PC monitor, a soundbar and subwoofer, cable box, tower computer, and printer. After several attempts to hook everything back up, nothing worked properly. I had cables, cords, wires, adapters in a big pile. Chris responded promptly. Not only did he reconnect everything, but he also update my old software, replaced my outdated computer (at a beyond reasonable price), transferred all my files over, and patiently answered my endless questions! Chris is awesome - not only did he come to fix my laptop he did for less than I thought it needed. When I first called I told him that my laptop was running slow and that I needed many things done to get it working right. He ended up charging less than half of what he thought it would be. Here's the thing that I really loved about the experience. He could have just done everything that I told him to do, I wouldn't have know and he could have charged me so much more. I just moved to Vegas & have been needing to get my extra laptop worked on. Well, let me say that these guys know their stuff! Chris was AWESOME & extremely knowledgeable. I only wanted the current OS & Microsoft Office Suite installed but ended up swapping the original HD for an SSD drive & let me say that this laptop is fast as fast can be (At least for me)! Chris is awesome! Literally turned my 9 year old 23" All-in-one desktop into a new super fast computer within 5 hours of when I called him. I had an appointment with the "Geek Squad" which scheduled an appointment 4 days away and wanted me to haul it to their store and leave it for for who knows how long to reset it and wipe out all my data.
