Just bough a home and had a conversation with Austin Martin about installing a new security system. The conversation was great and he was very attentive to what I was looking for. This review is a little different, but after agreeing to the terms, but before the full install was completed, I decided in the end that I did not need a system at this time. I am giving a good review since Austin was very kind and understanding when it came to cancelling the service. The technician, Will, was also very helpful and did a great job and patching my walls when the equipment was pulled. Beware. I canceled my alarm service directly with Brinks and was repeatedly told that I had no outstanding balance. At no point did Brinks inform me that there was a separate contract with Synergy Security, and it appears there is very poor communication between the two companies despite Synergy selling Brinks services. Years later, I discovered a collection account for over $2,000 on my credit report. Had I been properly informed, I would have addressed the issue immediately. signed up when I first moved in as they came to my front door and it made good sense however, the very next day I found out I was diagnosed with cancer and that my insurance was not going to be covering 85% of my treatment. When I canceled the "manager, he be graded me told me why would you sign up in the first place that is so childish what you did was very childish only children do that. Now I'm 67 years old and they do have a cancellation policy.never let me tell him nor would I want to tell him that I was diagnosed with cancer. I just bought a home last month and today Sammy and his trainee came by to talk to me about their security system that was in the house from the previous owner. The told me about their system and that it was outdated. I expected there to be a huge sales pitch, but quite the opposite. They are going to be replacing the old panel, installing new sensors, an electronic lock, and 3 video cameras all for no costs. No equipment fees or installation fees. Just a low monthly monitoring fee. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and how well they communicated the entire process. The female who answers the phone is useless, rude, Consistently talks whenever you are trying to speak or get a word in, does not like to let you explain or express your frustration with the issue you are experiencing with your system, all she does is speculate about what the cause is of the issue that you're experiencing, she's always attempt to block you from trying to book or coordinate for a actual appointment with a technician. Her go to response is contact this other company because that is what They Do; they'll fix it online, we don't do that, when the paperwork that the technician who installed our system left with us, clearly states in black and white, that in order to Schedule for a technician to come out and Fix the problem, call this company (synergy security). She is Always trying to pass the buck off to another company. Sounds just like something someone who accepts zero responsibility in their life would say. She presumes to know what's going on with your service without any knowledge or diagnosis at all. She is quick to diagnose it in her (delusional) mind, while never actually providing a helpful solution. If this is who they rely on to represent this company; turn around and do Not waste your time. She is super ghetto, classless and has Zero training in customer service. Please read all of the other negative reviews of this company and take heed, as you've been warned because every single one of the complaints is True! Do not sign up with this company. The salespeople will likely be friendly and reassuring when they come to your home but if anything goes wrong, they will leave you high and dry. We spent months dealing with a panel that kept beeping nonstop. This happened within a year of their install. The office tried to say it was because of a device we added (without even seeing anything themselves), but when we finally got a tech to come out, he verified that it was a bad panel that needed replacement. Synergy, specifically their manager Andrew, then gave us the run-around, telling us we have to go through Brinks who wanted hundreds of dollars to replace the panel. We are under contract with Brinks so we have to keep paying despite this issue unless we want to pay a fortune to terminate the contract early. Synergy continues to earn residuals from our contract and instead of replacing the panel for us like the tech who came out wanted to, they decided to tell us to deal with it ourselves. You can't determine a good company based on a sale where everything goes right. It's when things go wrong that you see a company's true values. Unfortunately, Synergy has none. Go with another Brinks vendor or with ADT and don't fall for all of their free offers. When that free stuff inevitably fails, you'll end up paying more than it was worth. read more

Thought I was getting a good deal on a security system. Ended up finding a better deal through someone else. It took about 4 phone calls, an email that was never responded to and a voicemail left stating I'd call every day until someone responded until I got a response. I requested to cancel services with the rep who came to my house and was met by multiple questions. I then got a call from someone else who was very condescending and refused to cancel my services because I was in a contract. I was never told I was in a contract and was unaware. This company will do anything to get your business but will do anything to take your money when you want to cancel services. Never again will I use a 3rd party company for anything. Hello me and my wife our happy Brett Wachman very friendly came to our new home we just purchased we were both skeptical at first until Brett explained the tax credit and how much we could save during fall and spring and we were sold! We moved to our new home Nov 2019. Brett signed us up everything went smooth permits were pulled and the techs able to start the install on Dec 31(New Years Eve)! So luckily we qualified to get the tax credit for 2019! The install was finished on New Years Day! The only delay was waiting for Nv energy Tech to come sign off on the panels so we can power them up! It was finally signed off in Feb and were very happy with solaredge app and our solar production were already SAVING! So summertime here we come! read more

They are complete scam artist they come to your home posing as Brinks workers and they give you quotes then say your approved. I was happy and accepted their contract and allowed them to set up cameras which were cheap Ring cameras not official cameras but compromised because my car got broken into. One week later their sales guy comes back to my home saying Brinks didn't approve me and they needed 1000.00 dollars for the cameras so I call brinks after the gentleman told me not to and the representative from Brinks told me they were a not workers for Brinks but an authorized associate to sale there services and in fact we were approved but they wrote up some contract that Brinks found suspicious. I told them to fuck off and take there scamming butts somewhere else's do not trust anyone saying they represent a credible company please research and call companies directly. read more

Owner knocked on my door shortly after I moved into my home in Southern Highlands. I decided to give them a shot after comparing all of the top alarm companies. Touch screen panel, iPhone app, every sensor you can think of (5 bedroom house) were all included, and a low monthly payment for their service. I've been with them 3 years now and would highly recommend. They lowered my rate after 2 years and added a 1080p camera for free. Always very responsive and the customer service has been great. I'm leaving this review for the great customer service from Mackenzie and Daniel, they made sure I understood the steps and process of how everything would work once we got the project started. I arrived home at 7:15 p.m. last night to find a person (Daniel D) knocking on my door. When I informed him there were TWO private property signs on our cul de sac, he immediately told me "anyone can make a sign." After that comment, I told him to get off my property or I would call the police. He got onto his SKATEBOARD and proceeded to cuss me out as he left. When I called the company the next morning, Andrew defended him and basically called me a liar. When I quoted the cuss words Daniel espoused, Andrew told me he would hang up if I used those words. I then told Andrew I was quoting the exact words used by his employee against me. I'm flabbergasted any company would hire rude kids riding on skateboards to solicit people to buy solar systems. This company is awesome! I HATE HATE HATE contract and security companies, but being home alone a lot I finally decided to work with a company. I received many quotes from all different companies, and I chose this one because I would have direct contact with the salesperson if I ever had any questions/concerns/issues. I like being able to text or call a person directly instead of wait on a automated phone line and get someone who doesn't know me or my situation. So I signed the deal and got an alarm installed. Yesterday at 4am my alarm went off. It scared me a lot, and I realized I would like to have a panic button that is portable so I can hide if need be and still alert the police. Right now I only have the panic button on my panel which is in plain site and could be hard to get to in the event of an emergency. I reached out to Danny and asked about getting a remote of some kind. I them got a call from the owner which is awesome! He sympathized with my situation from last night and said he'd be happy to setup a remote control free of charge to make me feel ever safer. I really appreciate the great customer service and being treated like a human. Both of the guys I've dealt with have been compassionate and understanding and really do care to make sure I feel safe. A lot of alarm companies in town just want money and you to sign that scary contract but I feel like I could reach out to these guys any time with questions or concerns and they will do anything they can to solve it and make me feel safer in my home. We had Dennis Goze show up at our door. My first thought, "ugh. Not another salesperson". However, I am glad he showed up. He is very down Earth, knowledgeable and doesn't treat you like a quota. He treated my husband and me like ohana (family). He got to know us and our family, gave suggestions of equipment that would benefit us and explained everything thoroughly. He didn't pressure us.
