EAGLE SENTRY has been solid from day one. Extremely courteous and professional on the telephone. JENNIFER is another perfect example of what I'm speaking to. Efficient and no nonsense. I should also mention that when my house alarms go off, whether by accident or not, they're extremely reliable. I've never failed to receive a call. Last thing I'll add is I had to have some signs replaced because the older ones were fading badly....which is not uncommon in Vegas sun. They sent out GEORGE ROCHE today and he was very precise with his work. I realize that some folks think he's the "sign guy "but it reaches much further than that in my eyes. When I greeted him, he was already basically on his knees, replacing the signs and I thanked him for bringing an extra sign. He stood up, talk to me and was professional. This is an update to our previous negative review. After a difficult installation Eagle Sentry got our new systems installed and working. While it certainly shouldn't have taken so long, I commend management and techs for sticking with it and us and getting it done. They did not abandon us; they finished the job. And it works great. Update The day after posting the below review, Eagle Sentry called and said they would waive the cancellation fee. I wish it had not come to that, but they did make it right. When I purchased my new Tri Point home, I paid for the pre-install of a security system. When I moved in, I was told to contact Eagle Sentry. I paid for everything upfront and for my entire first year of service. At the beginning of my second year of service I once again and paid for one year in advance. After five months I decided to put my home up for rent and cancel my service. I was told that I was committed to them for three years and would owe not only my remaining pre-paid months but an additional $351. I have asked to speak to upper management and to see a copy of the contract stating that I signed a three year agreement, but I've had no luck in speaking with anyone or seeing a copy of my agreement. I had planned to install Eagle Sentry in my new home, but will definitely re-examine that after this terrible experience that I've had. read more

On the sales & tech side, Shurlan helped us decide exactly what we needed to add, with absolutely no pressure, or "up-selling". The scheduling was great as they had to work around some of our unexpected date changes. The installation went smoothly, with the techs "Ted" and "Mark" here for 2 days. They were completely professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. On top of it all, they were delightful to have around! Had our WiFi system upgraded. Needed it as our number of connected devices has increased. Installation went very smoothly and the technician George did great work. I needed serious help with my Sonos system -tv soundbar and sub, play 5 and several Sonos ones, plus a turntable. 2 hours on the phone with Sonos didn't add any aid. George arrived timely, did an amazing job troubleshooting and connecting the system. He knew multiple tricks to get an older system to work with newer products, grouped speakers that had never connected before and even fixed my tv. Throughout he was incredibly personable, kind and thoughtful. If I need additional assistance for Sonos or anything else that Eagle Sentry provides, George is the person I'm calling! This really is the company to use for any automation needs. We use them on all our jobs and never run into any issues with them. The crews are really amazing and knowledgeable about their work. Made an appointment for a consultation to install automated window treatments. Sean Broadbent came out to roughly measure my windows. He came, spent about 25-30 minutes at my house, looked around, and said someone will reach out to do final measurements. After he left it was crickets. No one reached out, and I could not get a hold of Sean. I've sent three texts to follow up. No response. Called the office and they said that's typical of him. They lost a big account and won't be recommending them to anyone. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Plenty of competent companies out there who respect and value your time and home. read more

Yes, I have been with ES for quite some time. I have had occasional issues with Crestron home automation, but ES has always been quick to respond. They don't markup things like TV and audio installs so that is good value. I get disappointed by many service providers who think they can trick you into buying stuff you don't need. Ten years on I never got that from these guys. read more

We just built a new home and there was an option to have a home security system installed while building that included perimeter monitoring, keypad, and service contract. There were a couple of different packages available but the design center folks aren't alarm specialists so I reached out directly to the provider to ask some questions. Quick response - someone called me back within like an hour. Roy answered all of my questions and helped me select the best package for my budget and even provided recommendations like going ahead with camera prewire even if I didn't plan for camera system. He said this would prevent cutting and patching holes if wires needed to be run later. About 2 months passed and I received a call from their office. They wanted to ask about my plans so they could identify the best termination point for wiring. It's new home construction, they could've just put it where they wanted / where it normally goes and I wouldn't have known any better. I thought it was really nice that they asked to make sure I had what I wanted and needed. Now we're in the new home and ready for activation, and of course I decided I wanted cameras. Roy provided multiple quotes, details about differences and recommendations so I could feel confident in the purchase. Quick question, not a problem. I sent him an email and he would call back within minutes. Now it's installation day. I had an appointment that was for arrival window between 12 and 2. They called at 11:30 to let me know they we're running late and would arrive by 1. Ummmm. This is smack in the middle of the arrival window provided. That doesn't really qualify as late. I received an email and a text a little while later that my tech Steve was on his way and included his name and photo - again ensuring our safety. I guess the company takes safety and property protection pretty seriously. I told him not to worry about the little bootie covers to protect the floor. It's tile, it gets dusty. He insisted on wearing them because it's required. A little later another email arrived that Christian was coming to assist the installation. Another picture and another guy wearing booties. They took great care to check everything. Inside the closet, the wires were zip-tied and attached to wall - labeled, organized, and neat. The cameras are all redirected to get the best view. The next day a representative from the office called. They wanted to be sure that te very thing was completed satisfactory and ask if the guys wore their protective gear. So would I recommend these guys? Absolutely. read more

If I could give these guys less than 1 star I would. And I can pretty much guarantee that the majority of my neighbors in The Bluffs share the same sentiment.. we've lived in this home for 4 years, and this system glitches nearly every month or so. I'm convinced that the majority of the money Eagle Sentry makes is in all of the service calls to fix stuff that shouldn't be malfunctioning. we just had a guy come out yesterday because several of our TVs are not functioning properly, AGAIN. they mess around with a few things, tell you everything is fixed, and rush right out. well, guess what? I'm still unable to watch anything in my TV. And when the TV IS working, chances are that the audio isn't... I just don't understand how these problems keep occurring OVER AND OVER!! read more

This company has made a name for itself in the Valley, mostly because they have been around so long, or perhaps only cause. Was trying to get a quote for a new system other than Cox Homelife. So I call, I call again and again and they finally show up. Guy comes in tells me that the old system(that belongs to them FYI) is not usable and I would need all "new" equipment. So he leaves and I'm supposed to get an email with pricing.... I wait and call ..... and wait ..... and call nothing. Then 4 days later I get a quote for a similar system I have currently........ wait for it........... $12,000 dollars! I'm like are you high?? No way! The current system costs $300/$125 a month! I could put in 100 cams myself and door alarms for days for that! Oh and then I'm told it's a super secure system not that Chinese crap, so I research the equipment and guess where it comes from!?!? I am pleased to write this review as Eagle Century has provided us with excellent service. We are new to the area and have been a customer for approximately 2 years. Previously we had been with another service for 30 plus years. While no service provider does everything 100%, Eagle steps up if there is a problem and not only handles it but goes over and above. Over this past weekend their technician Daniel reached out to me personally, he assisted me in trouble shooting and then engaged his supervisor Sherlin to escalate my issue up the chain. Called Eagle to get a quote and information on getting a camera system I bought installed. The guy on the phone was super helpful and spent about 30 minutes talking to me, asking questions and giving me as best he could an idea of what it would take to install the cameras in my house. He told me $95 an hour on the phone for the job and that if everything would be ideal in the install conditions, it would be in the neighborhood of $1500 and worst case was about $3000. He said they had to come check it out and sent someone the next week. The guy who came out was also great, and seemed to know his stuff. Spent about 30 minutes checking out my house, wiring etc. Told me it was pretty much ideal and it would take 2 guys a full day plus a few hours the next day to set everything up and configure the cameras. He told me $125 an hour, but when I mentioned the $95 I was first told, he said that it was probably quoted to get the business. He said I would get an estimate in my email that night. I got the estimate later, and it was for $125 an hour for 20 hours plus a couple hundred in materials. Nearly $2700. I called the next day and inquired about this and figured it was an error. I was ready to book the job but at the first hourly rate. I spoke to the first guy again, and he told me that $125 an hour is for "retrofit" and $95 is for "install." This made no sense since they were installing a camera system and the guy who came out told me the set up at my house was nearly ideal and it matched the hours the first guy estimated if it was ideal. Basically it came down to if they sold me a camera system, they charged $95 an hour but since I had my own, it was $125 an hour. He kept telling me to let him know if they could do anything, and I told them flat out, I was going to book the job but not at $125 an hour. The guy refused to budge so I told him I would shop the job. So after calling 2 more companies, one of which came out and never sent me an estimate as promised (Safe and Secure), I went with In The Sky. They came out, took a look, gave me a quote, then sent me an estimate which matched the quote. They came out and got the job done in 6 hours and did a very nice job. Very professional execution and it cost $1035. I guess I should thank Eagle since I was ready to pay them $2000, but by refusing to take the work at the hourly rate they quoted me, they saved me another $1000. Guess they must be swamped with jobs to walk a full day job for 2 guys. They get 3 stars because they did talk to me extensively on the phone and were friendly and knowledgeable seeming both on phone and in person. They honestly had the job locked up, because I was not even going to shop it until they tried to jack up the price even more than their already high price. Lets be honest...$125 an hour? Even $95 is high, but come on. Again, they saved me a bunch of money and in the end, the job was done really well by another company so I am pleased. read more
