My recommendation for future business practices with alarm companies like SAS Alarms. Read all of the terms and conditions of the conditions of the agreement before you sign any agreement. Any questions you have or doubts don't sign until you get advice from a professional it will save you money and time. You may find that you more responsibility to be in compliance with alarm companies terms and conditions than you expected. Clauses like the company is not responsible for any verbal promises made by employees. The credit application is not only a credit worthiness. It can be used against future credit ratings if not fully in compliance or back out of the contract for unforeseen reasons or dissatisfaction. Watch your credit card charges you many be charged for services even as I was which can result in a credit card dispute. Do not rely on the office manager or billing clerk to correct anything you think is wrong. Above all remember you cannot rely on verbal promises it changes as much as the weather in Las Vegas. If you cancel your system, your fault their fault or not satisfied the service. Keep in mind that credit application it can be used against you in unfavorable credit reporting. A question never asked, does anyone have power of attorney over your actions the answer is YES. My daughter and the point of contact for any emergencies that may arise. Any future comments or concerns may addressed to her. Brian Laffery is the sales representative who initialed the agreement on the inactive alarm system in my home. He did a through floor plan agreed to my terms to keep the current system in place and have the installer check the all circuits to insure they were still active and install a new attachment to the current panel box for $99 dollar install with $49.50 up front $49.50 upon completion using my credit card. My questions was there a requirement for a credit application on the original only and why didn't appear on my copy?? Why did Brian never consult with me on the reverse side of the additional terms and conditions of the agreement. Which may have been a factor in accepting or rejecting the S&S agreement. Side didn't notice it for months after signing it with a friend point it out to me? Installer took about 20 minutes to install an attachment to the Control Panel. I pointed out all the window, movement and door circuits, inside screamer. outside bell which notifies neighbors since it my be ancient to the young installer. I request a new battery for the control panel, and couldn't remember the last it was replaced and didn't want a communication breakdown!! I was told by the installer that the office manager/billing clerk it was $59 plus tax which had to be paid upon install??? Why would a battery be charged against a if a completing new system for $99 same billing clerk charge $199 for install to my credit card Disputed with credit card company had one other isse with another credit on the account Is currently inactive with a new credit card pending. Issue of a password, some how after checks of the system technician set up the security password to this system not Brian, with in Bold Letter Attention is directed to Conditions on the Reverse Side and had me back date it 3/4/2026. More than a questionable business practice!!! I am awaiting a response from your company with a detailed explanations of each of your business practices. No accredation with the Better Business Bureau and which can be referred to the AARP Nevada stop Scams and Fraud hot hotline!

This company monitors our Fire System and our Alarm system. By telephone, it does take some time to reach a live person. You must select which service you need: commercial or home. It's a few minutes though. You can also monitor your system using their online portal. It is alright. I've been on there enough to know my way around to navigate. Otherwise, I could see how it would be deemed: not user-friendly. Things became easier for me when I was granted "Admin Access". I usually also need to call them to set our systems on "Test" mode when our there is service on our HVAC system or when our Fire System is having the quarterly test. There are several areas they they need access to such as the fire riser room, the monitoring box, and the rest of the panels, which are all over the property. Sometimes the service call turns out to be that the batteries need to be replaced. I like that I will get an email when the tech is on the way over; this just gives me a heads up. Some vendors assume that I am here all the time. Yes, I work full-time.

    ADT double-charged me nearly $100 for my June bill. When I contacted customer service via chat to…read moreinquire about the charge, I was informed that the issue resulted from a billing error on ADT's end. Despite acknowledging the mistake, the representative refused to issue a refund. I spent approximately 30 minutes on the chat trying to resolve the matter with a representative who repeatedly failed to understand my simple request for a refund. Frustrated, I decided to call customer service instead. Unfortunately, that experience was no better. The representative I spoke with also refused to process a refund and stated that the only option available was a credit toward my July bill. This is unacceptable. The error was caused entirely by ADT, yet I am being forced to wait for a future billing cycle to recover money that should never have been taken from my account in the first place. When a company makes a billing mistake, the appropriate remedy is to promptly refund the customer--not retain the funds and offer a future credit as a substitute.
