I tried to have this guy come out to troubleshoot a problem that I was having with my motocycle stereo. He told me three days before that he could come out on Sunday at one. I said great I'll take the fairing off of my bike so its easier for him. Sunday comes and he text me at 12:15 saying that he has to change his clothes and he'll be on his way, so I'm still thinking 1oclock. At one thirty I text him to ask if he's still coming, he says yes then says ETA 2:45.I Asked what happened to one? Then he calls and says are available are or what? I say yes but why are you late he says forget it and hangs up. I guess he doesn't like being questioned about anything. Totally unprofessional. We purchased a Generation 3 Ford F-150 Raptor (801A Package) that came with a so called premium B&O sound system. The system has a decent high and medium sound but very little bass. I asked for a repair to my dodge which the sound was not coming in clearly. The response was immediate and we were able to schedule an appointment that fit with my availability. He was on time and was able to provide a temporary repair till I was able to order the correct part needed. We rescheduled another appointment to complete the repair. On the second appointment, again he was on time, fast, and knowledgeable. He completed the repair quickly and completely. After fully disassembling the system he was able to show me the exact place the issue was occurring. Everything was repaired and works great. He never tried to upsell me or tell me I should replace things that didn't need it. Had Jesse come to install my stereo head unit in my old car...He showed up on time and I told him I wanted my Zapco pre amp equalizer removed and new head unit installed. Instead of removing the 2 mount screws in the back of Zapco unit , he disassembled the unit from the front to the back incorrectly and damaged the Preamp Equalizer...it was worth over $1000 on ebay...here's pics. I texted him and told him he screwed up my equipment but he won't admit his mistake. This will probably wind up in court with charges filed against his business license. But for the whole experience I had to deduct some stars. -1 star: when Mobile Wiring sent me their price list, it was incomplete and did not include the vague 'gas fee.' I texted before they came to make sure we were on the same page as far as price. $95 for amp wires and $55 for a line out converter=$150. They replied with a handshake emoji. I thought a handshake was universal for 'we have a deal.' I guess not, They declined to mention a gas fee, which was never in the price list I received. Also I live a mile away from the business' listed address, but was charged a $20 gas fee. A bit excessive. -1 star: The Yelp profile says they take credit cards. They don't. I have a credit on my credit card and wanted to pay with that. Nope. Even though the work was done well, Mobile Wiring misrepresented itself. I have many more projects for my primary car and another car but Mobile Wiring lost a return customer over $20 and lack of transparency. Jesse came to my home to do a mobile installation after I tried to have a installation done from Smart start. Unfortunately with smart start they caused $2500 worth of damage to my Vechicle trying to install the breathalyzer device. They cut fuses in the fuse box and wires to the battery so my car was unable to start and had to be towed to the Mercedes dealership. Mario from smart start would not take responsibility for the damage they caused and tried to pass the buck on to Mercedes who just simply towed the car and fixed it from the damage they caused. Unfortunately they are just not a stand up business they don't value there customers so they where unwilling to take responsibility for the damage they caused. I'm now forced to get a lawyer to hopefully recoup the cost lost associated with the trying of this installation. I was without a Vechicle for almost a month. If I only would of called intoxalock initially. Thankfully Jesse did a professional installation with no problems to my Vechicle and the convenience of coming to my home. He from the start guaranteed his work and said he had insurance if any mistakes very unlike But if they where made he was covered a reassurance I was happy to hear and sad smart start was no where willing to make. I got a crazy idea to put a system in a Lund fishing boat that is not designed at all for one. I pulled the trigger and ordered my media center, speakers, Sub and amp before realizing that this was going to be a tough job and I decided I did not want to attempt the install myself. I got on the phone and called several installation shops and they told me they wont touch it unless you purchased everything from us. One shop said they can do it in a month wait time. So I finally found Jesse Osbourne a mobile service that saved the day and he said he would be out and see what I had in mind. When he arrived right away he had great ideas on locations for mounting media center and speakers. At that time we set up a date for the install. He showed up at the time he said he would and got started. I was totally impressed how fast he got the panel holes cut out for the speakers and before I knew it they were installed and he was soldering all the speaker wire connections and wiring up the media center. He was excellent at hiding all the power wires and wiring. He had the amp and Subwoofer mounted and had that system pumping in no time.
