I posted my "project" on Yelp, which was to uninstall a faulty immobilizer on a used car I purchased, so I was requesting a quote. EZ Car Audio replied to my inquiry quickly with a flat rate quote that seemed reasonable. I called Ez Car Audio and was informed the work could take 30min to 1hr depending on the type of immobilizer. I've come to realize the work this place did to my car back in 2021 was bad. My car has been having problems with its electrical system about two years ago, and I always imagined it was something unique to my cars model. Forums, articles and my old Nissan sentra had these issues were confirming this. Car door indicator light would turn on when driving, door locks would lock and unlock rapidly when driving and my roof light would turn on on its own. Also two weeks after the installation here, I had to not even turn on the alarm anymore because it was going off on its own or the dash light would stay on even after using the alarm to lock. So I didn't think it was the alarm but my cars electrical system. I took it to my mechanic and they showed me the faulty wiring from this car alarm and installation. Turns out part of the wiring was put on the left hand side car power windows. It made sense since this alarm had to issues I wrote above. Now If these problems persist, or get worse i have to pay to have it be uninstalled, or replaced. Turns out the ones that was sold to me was cheap. As I remember when writing this, I offered to buy an expensive brand and being it in to be installed they said no at the time and I instead opted to buy one there. I was looking to have an alarm installed now. I called them and asked if I could come right now . They said yes and saved me $150.00 from where I was at then. They are quick and dud an awesome job. I had some questions a few days later, and again, they took the time on the spot to answer them and reprogram a function for me.then, a few days later, I had some tail lights out. At first I took my vehicle to another audio shop. After 3 visits I did not to go back. My sound system sounded like i was listening to a transistor radio so I decided to find another shop to fix it. I found EZ Car Audio and after explaining to them of my uneventful situation the owner actually took the time to draw up a diagram and explained in detail exactly what needs to be done to my vehicle to achieve the results I was hoping for. After he inspected the crazy installation this other shop did, right of the back he saw all the errors. After 3 hours of fixing the mess, I left there very happy with the work they've done. Lola know of professionalism. When I arrived they informed me that they couldn't take a cardThe installer didn't connect the new stereo to to the existing USB or explain that he did not. They also left every wire clipping in the car. It cost me another 200 to get it fixed correctly. read more

****DON'T GET SCAMMED!!!!**** ZERO stars, Unbelievably horrific. I took my truck to EZ Car Audio. My entire transaction was handled with to my dismay, the owner Israel Gonzalez the whole time. Who knew that the person scamming/ripping me off was the owner. Israel Gonzalez charged me $130.00 as he made me aware today after causing something that was fully functional until he destroyed it, to put two screws in (nothing else). I came originally only to have my DVD player made stable, but it absolutely worked. Instead Israel took apart all my audio wires, took apart my tv/dvd system as well. I didn't want to pay when I noticed now my tv/dvd audio no longer worked. But he assured now all I needed was a remote to make it work, which prior to his messing with it never had a problem. I paid him under duress. I ordered this remote and went back to him today, (Israel Gonzalez) he told me at8am he was to busy, come back at 11. When I came back 11, he then told me I only paid $130.00 for him to put 2 screws in. For him to make my audio work he would have charged me $150.00 just for that. I told him he's committing fraud. I never would have allowed him to disassemble, then pretend to reassemble my audio if it wasn't part of my stabilizing of my touchscreen radio. He then took nor responsibility for the harm he has caused. Don't go there. He owns a car audio business, but he has absolutely no clue what he's doing. But it will be at your expense. Man this place is great it's pretty far from where I am but it was worth it. I got my stereo installed in my 92 civic there and they changed a blown fuse in my brand new stereo I bought at Best Buy without charging me which was amazing I can't thank them enough.I would rather pay 45 bucks for good, friendly, and fast service.
