BUYER BEWARE!! Don't be fooled by all the people who rate this establishment as four or five stars. Obviously, they don't know much about their systems or car stereos. I have had nothing but problems ever since I had Ryan's crew put a stereo system in my 2018 Ram truck. I paid top dollar for the best stereo system he could install and he installed a piece of junk Pioneer stereo system that doesn't work well at all. He will tell you it is his best seller only because he pushes them so hard. (Probably because he gets such a great deal on bulk quantities.) They are junk. They were junk when I was growing up and they are still junk. The head rests he installed with video screens in them were made back around the year 2000. When I complained about that he put in more modern head rests but they don't work either. The first time I went to use them the audio jack in one of them didn't even work. Now they won't display anything from the head unit. Plus, they fit in there so loose that if you pull them up they come out and you can't adjust them. All of the functionality that comes with the new truck doesn't work now. My SOS and assist buttons on my mirror don't work. The Uconnect app for remotely starting, locking, unlocking and locating my truck doesn't work. He installed a Viper system to take care of that but all that does is show me where the truck is on the map. It won't do any of that functionality either. He cut the microphones that came stock in the truck to install his own externally mounted microphone. He cut the two stock USB ports in the console to install his own USB ports externally on my dash. He says he doesn't throw anything away but when I went to get the center console that he replaced in favor of the new stereo, he didn't have it. He said they threw it away. Now I have to pay $1400 for another center console just so I can go back to the stock stereo. The dealer can't perform any recalls because the C-bus goes through the stock stereo. I have had to go back there 10 or 12 times just to have them fix stuff that they overlooked or didn't do properly in the first place. It cost me more in Uber's than it did to have the stereo installed it seems like. When they installed a stereo in my other truck they shorted the domelight wire when they were putting it back together. When they found that there was a short in the stereo system, instead of fixing the short, they cut the wire going to my domelight and told me I don't have a domelight anymore. The dome light was working when I took it in. (I think they ran a screw through the domelight wire when they were putting the speaker columns back in.) When I told Ryan that I wanted to take the whole system back to stock because they couldn't do it right he told me I needed to go someplace else because apparently he couldn't satisfy me. Of course he couldn't satisfy me. His crew and he kept screwing everything up and forcing me to return there to have it fixed. That's where all the Uber charges came in. They wanted to keep it for a full day each time. I told him in the beginning I was using an Android phone and I needed a system that was compatible with Android. He sold me this Pioneer which doesn't interface with Android well at all. I ended up going out and getting an iPhone just so I could use it in my truck. It works fine with iPhone compatibility wise. The digital controls he installed that came with the stereo in place of the stock air-conditioning controls only go up to 2017. My truck is a 2018. It won't let me set it for Fahrenheit or miles-per-hour. It stays in metric mode. I asked him to install a high amount video camera so I could see the load that I was carrying when I had the tailgate open and he forgot to do that the last four or five times I took it in. He finally ordered one but by then I was so fed up I told him send it back because I'm done with him. I am now having to fix everything myself because they can't do anything right. None of this is an exaggeration. I even posted a one star review on Yelp prior to this and somehow the post isn't there anymore. Wow. I guess the truth hurts. Ryan says in another post that they are the best shop in town. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! Their techs screw things up and make it necessary to return to fix their screw-ups. (Look at how many reviews say they had to return.) THIS PIONEER STEREO IS STILL JUNK! I'm fed up. I will be taking my truck to a reputable shop today to have all of Ryan and Roger's installation replaced. THIS SHOP SUCKS! DON'T GO THERE! Ok. This is going to be a straight-up real review. I don't know these dudes. Honestly, I never leave reviews but I felt compelled because of the service I received. I called LA Stereo on 1/30 and spoke to Ryan. I said that I was going to be coming into town on 2/7 and I would like to schedule an appointment for a remote start and stereo installation. I'm worried because it's an older vehicle. I say its a 98 Subaru. Ryan doesn't bat an eye and says, we can do that for you. Boom! I'm in the books. On the morning of 2/7 I called and said I was running just a little late but I was on my way. Ryan, Cool as a cucumber, said, No worries Trevor. I arrive at the store and walk-in. Ryan greets me and says 98 Subaru right? I reply yessir. Do you want to check out this bad boy for yourself? We walk outside and discuss what I want and then go back inside to discuss pricing. We go back and forth on somethings and Ryan says to me, Dude you got speakers in that car right now that will sound good AND I DON'T WANT TO SELL YOU SOMETHING YOU DON'T NEED. Yes, You read that correctly. He didn't try to upsell me just to make a couple of extra bucks. So in my mind, I'm like, I like this dude. Some other customers walk in and since Ryan and I have figured everything out I step off to the side so he can help these guys. I'm not making this up when I write this. A Latino dude comes in. Driving a bada$$ Corvette. He tells Ryan his issues. Boom! like a magician, homeboys keys are in Ryan's hands and he's leaving his car there. An older black dude comes in. He says, son, I'm having some problems with my deck in my car can you take a look at it for me? Ryan turns to me and says I'll be right back. I respond. No worries brotha, I got time. Ryan runs outside I see him hop in this old Caddy for a few minutes and then back out. They're smiling they shake hands and the old dude drives off. Now, this white dude comes in and says he wants a stereo for his motorcycle. It was like a United Colors of Benetton ad in this store! They're going back and forth. You know what I like Ryan. I already have brought you my Jeep and my Audi. I trust you. Make my motorcycle sound CLEAN! This dude leaves. I turn to Ryan and say, Hey man, My ride is here, Do you want me to pay you now? Ryan replies, Nah man, we're good. Plus I got your car. Ryan says we'll have it done before closing. So I head to lunch and hit up Cheeba Hut and do some other things and make my way back to LA Stereo at closing. Jesse was the dude on the install. KILLED IT! He had some extra things he needed to do because of the car's age but he hit it out of the park. Ryan says everyone likes free stuff so because you bought this and that, I threw in some tweeters for free and a tint visor across the front window. Jesse showed me how to use the new deck and I was gone like good cake. The reason I mention the Latino dude, Black dude and white dude on his motorcycle is because I never saw Ryan change his approach. Didn't matter what they looked like and what they were driving, EVERYONE got respect from Ryan and it seems like they all respected him, and Now he's got my mad respect. People please learn from my experience.. Please don't spend your money at this racist establishment. Their guessing ways and low acknowledgement of certain things shouldnt be rewarded. Not to mention the Manager/ Owner doesn't hold his workers accountable. Im sure the owner is going to jump on here quick and try to defend his store and discredit my review. But facts is facts and I have video proof of the poor customer service received here numerous times. So I will not reply to the lies the owner will try to post on here especially when he never witnessed the work his employees did on my car. If he did, he would know they didn't fix the problem I paid to have solved. Came to them with a problem about my subwoofers/ speakers going and and out.. No I didnt get them installed there, but I came to this store with a problem and asked could they fix it. Only because I now live in Nevada and im not close to the shop they installed my speakers years ago. LA Stereo told me they knew what the problem was, and told me how much to fix it. I paid $275 what they asked, my speakers went in and out again the same day. Which means they didnt know what the problem was and just guessed, also means they took my $275 and did a Quick Fix. When I talked to the manager the following week, he said they should've did a troubleshoot and took longer to examine the problem. Which clearly means again, the workers guessed the solution. Anyways we made arrangments for me to come back this saturday so the could either fix the problem or give me a refund. I felt the need to share my experience of this low budget stereo shop and how their poor customer service should be put on notice. I have a right to write a review and share my experience especially when Im being completely honest. So i did and gave them 1 STAR, because of my 1 STAR Review... When I came in Saturday, they turned me away and didnt fix the problem I paid for. They also didnt give me my refund, instead they claimed I was now trespassing and they stated they were mad I gave them a 1 STAR REVIEW. I told the manager I could write another review once they fix the problem I paid for. He told me" No, I shouldnt have gave them a 1 STAR" Again I have Video proof of all of this!!! I told them i wasnt leaving without them fixing my music like I paid for, or give me my refund because the problem was never fix. They then called the police on me. Now I have to go through the process of taking these RACIST SCAMMERS to Small Claims Court. I witness how they treated other customers nicely and I seen how they treated me each time I came to their establishment. Never met a business that Took a Customers money, don't fix the problem. Keep the customers money then calls the police saying Im tresspassing. I clearly have my receipt and proof the job I requested to have done wasnt done but they TOOK my $275. I highly recommend LA Stereo to anyone looking for a professional and helpful car stereo shop that is not only fast and efficient, but more importantly does the install carefully AND correctly! I was lucky enough to speak with the owner, Ryan, who took less than 3 minutes of asking me a few important questions to figure out exactly which stereo I needed without overspending. He recommended a head unit that was significantly less expensive than I thought I needed but it had everything feature I wanted in it so I ended up paying about $600 less than I was expecting to for my new stereo! When was the last time you could honestly say you talked to a car stereo salesman who had great product knowledge, was actually honest and helpful, and recommended products which were less expensive rather than more expensive because he was actually trying to help get you exactly what you wanted for the lowest out-the-door price possible and not upsell you or pressure you into buying anything you didn't want to? The icing on the cake is that I was expecting about a 3hr install time based on previous installs of similar components, but it only took him and his team 1hr 20mins to get it installed and it was actually done carefully and correctly without any marks or damage to my trim which is rare these days. After checking on line for what I thought I wanted and what would work with my vehicle I hit one of the many stereo shops in the Vegas valley and while I was reviewing the quote I received I was also looking at the reviews for that store and noticed one that said should have went down the street to LA Stereo......so I did, and was happy I did...I met with Ryan and gave him the low down on what I wanted and what the other shop recommended, and without hesitation asked if the other shop told me if I went with a certain piece that they recommended that I would lose my fade and balance, and they did not...in short I discussed with Ryan the sound I was looking for and he proceeded to show me the amps, speakers etc. that would work well and sound great, after his objection I told him I did not want subwoofers that I did not need all that base, he said he would install how I wanted and once done I would hear it, well we ended up adding the subwoofers and additional amp and with some adjustments and going with better tweeters the system kicks serious ass and I am still discussing and will be adding eq and possibly just a higher quality door speaker, but I will not go anywhere else , so Ryan is the Man and LA Stereo is the place hands down.. to be continued ... I bought a used van that had an aftermarket alarm system that was supposed to be disabled. However the system went haywire about a month after my purchase. It would temporarily lock up my van for no reason at all and I could not start it. Not good. I took the van to a Goodyear tire/repair shop near my house to see if they could just take out the alarm. They had no idea how to do that and said I should go to a dealer. So i went to my local Chrysler dealer where the service adviser said that yes he could remove the alarm, but could not get to it for a couple of days. When I asked how much that would cost he said their labor rate was $140.00/hr but had no idea how long it would take. Yeah right. I then found LA Auto on Yelp and decided to go there after reading some good reviews. Upon arriving at their shop, Ryan looked at the alarm and immediately said that yes he could remove it in about 20-30 minutes and it would cost $30.00. I said great! 30 minutes later I was back on the road with the alarm successfully removed for $30.00 Ryan obviously knows about car alarms, does what he says he will do and does not charge outrageous dealer prices to do so. After my experience at LA audio, I HIGHLY recommend Ryan and LA audio for your car alarm needs. I would not even bother thinking about going anywhere else. read more

So I waited a few months to see how well everything worked out before I reviewed. TLDR: So good I'm about to go round 2. So I got me a used truck for trails and light off-roading. I got spoiled on my other rides infotainment center so I had to replace the stock cd player. I knew what I wanted. A new head unit, backup camera, front/rear dashcams with cloud storage, new mids, a GPS for android auto, and a few accessory wires ran for later stuff. They set me up with a great deal better than I could find online on the hardware. Their install fees were a super deal for the quality of the work I received. It's not cheap but neither are the results. When it comes to messing with a cars electrical system specifically in modern cars, don't cheap out. They put in a lot of stuff and configured it all to work together. Still they where faster than expected, and it was so clean it looked OEM. My dash didn't have any squeeks, knocks, or looseness on a 6yo truck. I was really impressed. These guys are top notch. I'm leaving this review just a few hours before I call them to schedule wiring up my new headlights, fogs, a Ham radio unit for my search and rescue team, and add a new alarm. Ryan the owner really knows his stuff and is extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable with all car audio related things. He not only listened to my needs and specific features I was looking for in a car stero, but he immediately knew which head units he had in stock which had all the features I told him I needed. He even recommended a few other features he thought I could use without trying to upsell me at all. In fact he was trying to save me some money by recommending a head unit that was 1 step down and $100 less than the one I was considering buying! When was the last time you saw a car stereo salesman do that? Never! I ended up choosing the higher end one because it had a couple extra features I wanted, and I couldn't believe my new stereo was installed in under 90mins. They even set up my steering wheel controls with a separate control unit so all my OEM steering wheel buttons worked with my new aftermarket head unit. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a car stereo because you'll get exactly what you're looking for from an honest and helpful owner, and it will be installed quickly AND correctly! read more

Or they will call the police, didn't give me my $275 back Or complete the job I paid for. Been getting music did in all of my cars from 2005 to now. Been to different shops in different states. After hearing about this place from sources at and outside of work I finally decided to take my recently acquired Nissan Frontier to check on what was in stock and possibly get a quote. Oh but let me skip back first on the customer service, which was fantastic! Very friendly atmosphere. Ryan was polite and accommodating. So he gave me a few quotes and upon me deciding and expecting to come back after making an appointment, he said "we can have it done for you today (Saturday) and you can start enjoying!" Sure enough, Ryan and the crew made it happen and when all was said and done, he even gave me a discount on what we had already agreed upon. I tell you, Mahalo to Ryan and the gang! This old retired Veteran appreciated that. More so though that you gave your word for it to be done the same day and you made that happen. I encountered a problem with the radio amp in my Honda Pilot after a jump start. I suspected that the jump start may have caused damage to the amp. After some research, I found a shop and received a quote from the owner. He recommended purchasing a used amp from the second-hand market because it would be significantly cheaper. I followed his advice and brought the used amp to the shop. Despite the installation taking around 3 hours, they successfully installed it as if it were new. The cost was exactly as quoted, saving me a considerable amount compared to what I would have paid at a Honda dealership, which could have been around 2 grand. I'm extremely pleased with the service they provided, and I highly recommend this shop as they delivered exactly what they promised. Thank you! read more

I have an older car -- a 2007 Lexus -- so getting a touchscreen radio installed felt like a big upgrade. I originally came in with my own radio, but after installation, I realized I really didn't like the one I had purchased. They were incredibly accommodating and helped me return it with no pressure or hassle. In the end, I bought a Sony radio directly from them, and I couldn't be happier. The guy at the front was extremely patient, genuinely helpful, and totally fair throughout the process. I felt completely supported from start to finish. This is hands-down one of the best stereo shops in Las Vegas. They truly care about customer satisfaction, and they deserve every five-star review they get.
