We went with Affordable Window Tinting after creating a project in Yelp and getting quotes from 10 different companies. At first we went with Polar Tint but during the appointment we realized they gave us a quote for the lower heat rejection material so we left. When getting window tint, always ask for IR or heat rejection percentage. Affordable Window Tinting used ceramic that has 88+% heat rejection (not 3M but comparable) and for 5 windows we paid $300 which was a great price. FYI if you have a Subaru the front mini window counts as a window (we misunderstood at first and thought we could get the back windows too). We got 50% for the windshield and 35% for the front side windows. They have a heat demo you can try in-store so you can feel the difference. Installation took 3 hours (one bad thing is that the waiting area smells heavily of cigarette smoke) so we got lunch and walked around nearby (but it's not the best neighborhood). There were bubbles in the film but like the guy said, they went away in a few days when it cured. Happy with the results! read more

Located on Desert Springs road in Las Vegas I called tint places and got expensive quotes for the 2 windows, another quote is not bad but 11 miles from me... I called this place and got a very reasonable quote. The staff very friendly and accepted walk-ins. Waited for mine and they did a great job. Also came with warranty for bubbling and peeling as long as you owned the vehicle. Only exclusions are scratches. I recommend trying this place out should the need arise. read more

I got a quote through Yelp months ago for the basic tint at $299 and was finally available to stop in. I messaged Sal on Yelp and booked an appointment for the next day at 9am on a Wed. I was quoted a 2 hour window but it actually took 3+ hrs because they took someone who arrived after me and did his car first. This is the only reason why this is not a 5 star review. I went with the ceramic at 25% on my Tesla, which came out to be more than the quote but that is what they up sold me on. Tate was very personable and knowledgeable. I was sold on the ceramic after testing out the sample. You put your hand under the right lamp and left lamp and you'll feel the difference!! Met some cool peeps in the waiting area so that killed some time but would have liked it to be more efficient. Good thing I didn't schedule anything afterwards. I went back since my first and 2 nd experience was fabulous. I went for whole wind shield tint 30 percent. I waited couple of weeks for the ghosting or double vision to disappear. I called about the situation. they told me that I got the basic tint for the front window is the reason why the Ghost and double vision. It needs the premium film to lower the chances of my situation. I wasn't told through email and in person about the basic film would cause my situation. I had to pay extra to remove the old tint and just put a front strip. I had zero knowledge of front window shield. Do better and let your customers know the difference film for front or don't offer basic film for the front. So inconvenient. read more
