Best tint experience so far. My last few tint jobs were a mess. From young inexperienced kids to terrible installs. Jose and some female came to my garage and installed xpel xr plus on my new 26' model y and everything came out perfect. I was watching Jose here and there on my camera and this guy is a perfectionist. Took only 2 hours for windshield and 4 side windows and made sure everything was perfect. Also no nasty chemicals were used that would trigger me. Fabulous experience and the tint is freaking awesome. Great heat rejection and amazing glare reduction. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP I am genuinely in disbelief right now. I purchased a brand new Genesis G90 on April 23rd 2025. I brought the car in to get tinted the next day on April 24th. Everything in my car was working as it was a brand new vehicle. I dropped the car off at 1 pm. I picked it up at 4:50 and was the last customer. As I was driving I noticed my front right 3d surround sound speaker was not rising. I also noticed a significant amount of wind noise coming in from the drivers side window. I brought the car back to auto tint express on April 25th at 11:30 am to discuss the issues that were obviously caused during installation. The only person working was a tech named Edwin. I explained to him what happened. He verified that the speaker was no longer working. He went to the back to call his manager. When he came back to view the car again he said "we didn't do that. It's impossible" I explained to him the timeline of events and how it was a brand new car that I purchased the day before. He just kept repeating that "we didn't do that". I asked to speak to a manager and he said "you can't" I asked for the managers name, he refused to give it to me. I asked if as a tech he was qualified to handle this situation, he claimed he was. Basically after 15 minutes of arguing he threatened to call the cops on me and trespassed me from the building. I am in genuine shock right now. If the owner of this business wants to reach out and talk, I would greatly appreciate it because Edwin also claimed that I could not speak to the owner and refused to give me any contact information to try and resolve this issue. He also said that I was lying about the timeline of events. I have had 3 cars tinted here with no issues before so it is appalling to see the lack of professionalism and integrity of this shop. I think if you have a new luxury car with a lot of tech, you should avoid this place like the plague. read more

We paid for professional ceramic window tint installation and received extremely poor workmanship. Within days, the tint began peeling at multiple corners and contains visible fingerprints and heavy contamination trapped between the film and glass, creating a spider-web/glitter effect that obstructs visibility and makes driving unsafe. When we returned to request a refund or replacement, we were mocked, called "crazy," and treated with open hostility instead of professionalism. We contacted XPEL directly and received written confirmation that the issue is installation error, not a product defect -- yet this shop still refused to take responsibility or correct the work. I went in today to get my window tinted, setting up the appointment was super easy they provided me options and estimates through text message and the guy there was very knowledgeable on what tint I should get and how it would affect heat. I went with the Prime XR and so far so good. I can tell a difference right when I got in the car. It was originally estimated at $260 for the windshield but the discount brought it down to around $235 which was nice as I was expecting to pay more. They also allow me to come back within 15-30 days if any problems occur due to there being no warranty on the windshield. Overall very solid, only took around 45 minutes and I'm satisfied! Thanks. So my tint was coming off my front windshield but prior to coming off I had gotten a crack in my windshield. I called these guys up and asked if I could bring my truck in to show them it coming off prior to replacing the windshield and they said yes they would be able to replace it as long as it was a peel and not intentionally damaged. Called back to see when would be a good time to go in now that I got the window fixed and they now say no cause it would be considered a new windshield although the tint was already coming off. Beware that it began peeling within the first year of installation. read more

This review describes the experience I had doing business with Auto Tint Express Window Tinting on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The day prior I had all of my side & rear windows tinted at another location, no issues whatsoever. On this day, I decided to complete my vehicle tinting with a windshield tint, and decided to go with this business as they offered a higher heat rejection percentage on the specific grade of tint I wanted and the price seemed fair to me. I go in, first red flag is they expect payment (and tip) up front. The more than two hours I'm sitting there, I hear Mario on the phone speaking with customers telling everyone "come in, we'll give you 15% off". When I ask him about this later, he tells me they barely started this promotion and "In the future we will give you 15% off but there's nothing I can do about it now". Right on. So they finish the job, and as he's giving me my receipt, he tells me "and by the way, there is no warranty because windshield tints are illegal under the AS1 line." Most window tint places in Vegas do 30% and below on the front driver/passenger windows, which are illegal, but offer lifetime warranty on their work because they take pride in what they do and are confident in their skill. At first glance, everything looked okay. I thanked them and left. As soon as I drive off, I notice a major problem. Right as I leave, I can all of a sudden hear all of the road noise coming into my car. I notice there is a long but narrow gap where the windshield used to be attached to the car. It's very slight but it's a gap nonetheless that did not exist before my car was tinted here. In a few minutes I'm back at the shop and call Mario over to show him the issue. The excuses immediately begin- "Oh, it was like that before you brought it here" "The other side is the same way", etc. Immediately trying to pass off all blame and take NO responsibility. I paid for a service to be completed and I expect my car NOT to be damaged in the process, I expect my vehicle to be given back to me in the same condition as I left it with your business. What happened is instead of adjusting their tint to fit my windshield, they sliced off a fairly large section of weatherstripping urethane that was keeping my windshield connected to my car and my car protected from the elements, causing this narrow gap on the drivers side of my windshield. What I can't comprehend is that a business like this couldn't just tell me "Yes sir, we will fix what we damaged right away", take my car to the back, send an employee to a hardware store and fix it in an hour or so with some cheap urethane sealant. Instead, they kept giving me different days to come back to have it "looked at". Is this actually how you guys conduct business? More importantly, I am going to resolve the problem myself as I cannot risk my car being damaged further by careless individuals or their associates. Their attitude was very rude and entitled, their entire goal was to shut me up and get me out of there as fast as they could. I fixed it myself in 10 minutes, easy fix. You individuals should be ASHAMED for how you conduct yourselves with PAYING customers who are coming here and expecting a service to be completed and not have their vehicles be damaged in the process and essentially told to beat it when they approach you with a problem that your business created. As a business, LEARN something from this experience. You guys are lucky this wasn't a more serious issue. Ultimately this business confirmed through text message, at my request, that they did, in fact, damage my car. I would like to add, I never once asked for money, nor a refund, or pushed for anything like that. I am not looking to short anyone, even when a business like this so easily screws their customers over in this way. I wanted to see what this business was going to say to me or what they would do to make this situation right, and they made this situation much worse than it needed to be by acting in such an inappropriate way with me. You guys damaged my car, an apology would have gone a lot further than that awful attitude you guys had. I will make sure I go on whatever social media platforms you guys have to tell my experience with your company because what you guys did was AWFUL and never in my 31 years of life have I received this kind of horrible treatment by any company I have ever done business with. I come from a family of law enforcement and what is crazy to me is how you guys have a LVMPD Support license plate on your business vehicle. What an embarrassment, quite disgusting. If you need tints, go literally anywhere else and not to a place that begs their customers to leave them a positive review in exchange for future discounts. Tesla Model Y. PRIME XR PLUS for the sunroof, 15% darkness. Yes, it's EXPENSIVE but we'll worth it. Price is competitive. If within your budget, I definitely recommend. 5 stars - Tint job and quality. 5 stars - Same day service. 5 stars - Communication and customer service. 4.99 stars - Windows (other then the sunroof) had overspray/water spots from solution used for the window tint. Not a big deal, I am just OCD about things especially at this price point. Recommend, wipe down of all windows(inside/out) prior to delivery, giving the final detailed touch for the customer. My two cents. They do require full payment upfront. They also charge for a shop/supply fee. Just be aware of that. Overall, very pleased and would come back for future vehicles. Our desert summers seem to get sunnier and hotter, and I have been looking to add tint on my 2016 Forester for a while. I called other places that never called back, and I put it off until Auto Tint Express showed up on my TikTok FYP. I usually skip ads, but here was a local business offering just what I needed. I visited their website and filled out the quote form on 2/2/24. Within just a few minutes, I received a text message from Mario. I shared details about my car and mentioned that I wanted to tint all windows, including the windshield. He recommended ceramic film, which is exactly what I was looking for. He provided me with upfront pricing: $480 plus tax for the side and rear windows and $240 for the windshield. While this may cause sticker shock, I understand that quality materials and service are worth the cost of entry. Mario was able to book me the very next morning as soon as they opened. Dropping off my car was easy. Because all my windows had factory tint, there was a removal fee of ~$180. After tax the total to remove the existing ting, apply new ceramic tint to all sides, the rear and the windshield I paid $927.16. I was advised that the job would take about 5-6 hours since they first had to remove all the existing tint then apply it plus the windshield. I left the shop about 8:30 am and got a call at 11:30 am telling me the car was ready. I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service. When I picked up my car, Mario did a walk around with me and reminded me of the warranty on the side windows. He also let me know that if there were any issues in the coming days to simply reach out for resolution. It rained for the next week, and it was tough to examine the finished product. I received a follow-up from Mario on 2/10/24, which I thought was an excellent touch. I examined the work and located a cluster of debris bubbles on one of the front quarter glass windows and a small crease on the rear quarter glass window. I sent the pictures to Mario, and without hesitation, he offered to make it right under the warranty. I also expressed concern with visual distortion that was occurring with the windshield tint. He advised he would assess it as well. I was able to come in the same day. He agreed with the issues with the quarter glass windows and examined the windshield. From the time of the initial install, I was made aware that the windshield did not have a warranty. However, Mario assured me that they took pride in their work and would resolve issues with the windshield if they were related to the application or the defective film. This assurance was with the understanding that it was reported asap after the curing period (in the first few days after application). Mario examined the windshield, and it took some time trying to explain what I was seeing and showing him the area that was affected. I believe this to be a defect in the film and was a major concern since it was right in my field of view while driving. Mario was able to see the defect, and he agreed that it could be redone. Because I arrived later in the day, they were only able to fix the side windows, and he scheduled the windshield for Monday, 2/12/24. When I arrived on Monday, Mario was off. Another person assisted me (I do not recall if they gave me their name). He came out to examine the windshield again but told me he could not see the distortion in the windshield. After some discussion, I was able to speak with the owner, Jose. He was very professional and really focused on my explanation and narrowed on the defective area I was pointing out. Jose was able to identify the distortion I was seeing. He explained that the film may be amplifying distortion in the existing glass or that it could indeed be defective film. He removed the film, and we examined the windshield prior to reapplication. The distortion was gone, which was a relief to me. He proceeded to reapply new film personally paid special attention to the driver-side area. Once the new film was applied, we again looked to make sure the distortion was resolved. It looked great, and there was no more distortion. Ultimately, I am pleased that these professionals stood by their work. With this experience completed, I must say that Mario was more than kind and attentive. The owner, Jose, was very professional and straight forward. The initial service was positive and was done quickly. Their shop has a clean waiting area. If you don't have a ride and need to wait around, they are located next to a restaurant and walking distance from Chinatown. Payments are processed through a Square terminal and accepts all major card types. I believe they also take cash. I loved being able to stay in touch by text message, and they are very responsive. They have bilingual personnel available to assist Spanish speakers as well. I would likely do business with Auto Tint Express. Tried to leave a review on google but for some reason I don't think it posted so I'm here on Yelp! This is actually an update.... UPDATE with photos: I don't know what happened to my 1st review (somehow it got deleted on google) but it was a not a happy review. The tint job I received was not good. I went back a few times and was told it was my windows that were defective etc. I know that wasn't the case and maybe I misunderstood was they were explaining to me but my windows were fine. Regardless there were flaws with my tinting. The guy that works in the front (I think his name is Lucio...I apologize if that is not correct) he was always SUPER professional and answered all my questions. I went back for the last time and wanted a refund...I was not happy at all. He told me to give them a chance to correct the problem. I was hesitant but agreed. The owner Jose came in and re-did ALL my windows. I GREATLY appreciate Jose standing by his business and his work...if it's not right they will make it right!!
