I've been going to the same window tinting shop for my last 4 vehicles I have owned. I recently had a friend recommend Desert Custom, so I got into contact with Joe, he was very responsive, answered all the questions I asked, and his prices were very competitive in comparison with other shops I have dealt with in the past or had contacted for quotes. I ultimately decided to give Desert custom a try. I'm so satisfied with my decision to try out a new shop. My tint looks amazing and the price for the quality can't be compared to anywhere else. Joe uses Carbon tint which blocks out 99% of Ultraviolet rays and 91% of glare from sunlight, I have sensitive eyes when it comes to sun glare and also when I'm driving at night and headlights are shining in my rear, so to prevent that I like to get 5% tint all around, this may be too dark for some but it's the perfect shade for me. Also a plus to 5% tint is even during the day it will be difficult for anyone to see any of your valuables left in your vehicle. I went to Desert Customs per the recommendation of a family friend. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I was shopping around to tint my 2018 Tesla Model 3 since all my windows were stock. Many places were priced WAY higher than I expected or they wouldn't even touch it because of the roof and back window pieces. I know nothing about tint and Joe was SO helpful with his recommendations based off of my expressed wants and needs. He was priced very fair and all my windows turned out immaculately. Yesterday I went from having a stock Jetta to feeling like I should be in the Fast & Furious - my car is now big pimping after my tint job from Desert Custom Window Tinting! You think I'm joking, but I'm serious. My car looks like it's had a total overhaul. I couldn't be happier! I needed a tint job and had looked into a few Groupons and other deals I'd seen online but not a single one of those places had good reviews, and a lot of the reviews stated hidden up-charges, so I opted to steer away. I found Joe thanks to Yelp - 14 reviews prior to mine, everyone is 5 star - how do you not give him your service? I called to make an appointment and found out he was booked 6 weeks out, inconvenient but a good sign!! I took his earliest appointment and waited. His shop is located in Chinatown; it's a small shop in an industrial business complex. He gave me my options for tint (didn't charge extra for the darker that was a plus), and he informed me of the legal requirements. After selecting my tint my bf asked about the cost for the strip across the windshield, he said it'd be $25 extra so we opted to skip it for now. He said to come back 2 and a half hours later, so we walked a few blocks to the Palms and watched a movie. We returned to see my car completely transformed! Not only was the tint flawless, but Joe had also added the strip we'd asked about to the windshield FOR FREE! What a sweet surprise! He gave us specific instructions for the next few days, as well as cleaning. He warranties his work 100%. I cannot say enough good things about this place! GO SEE JOE! P.S.
