Since finding out, we were expecting our first kid, we immediately started looking for a reliable tint service that wouldn't break the bank, specifically in ceramic tint. So after a a few days of some online research and a few calls on estimates, I came across 979 Tint. They are an exclusive 3M dealer and that was something we were also looking into. From experience, 3M provides the best material, and they have a lifetime guarantee, so you can't go wrong with that. Just off Russell, 979 Tint is hidden in the corner of a commercial building. Upon entering the office, you're welcomed with a clean space and the front of house associate. We called ahead of time and mentioned we would be coming in (10 am) and we began the paperwork process, which only took roughly 10 min and decided on the tint grade (I would recommend going with a friend, that way you have a ride back until your car is ready). They then told us that we would be expecting a call by mid day once the car was finished. We received a call around 2 pm that the car was ready for pick up and we headed back very eagerly. The job on our Nissan Rogue was absolutely amazing. We decided to go with the 75% tint, which is extremely dark during the night, but gives the best for optimal privacy and heat prevention from the sun during those hot Vegas days. The guarantee we received from the owner was that if there was any chipping from the tint, that they would fix the issue, and that is amazing!!! I was blown away with this shop! I was referred by a friend but I'm such a skeptic of everything so had my doubts. I've had a shop I've taken 15+ vehicles to over the last 20 years but their customer service has gone down a lot, so decided to try a new place. I'm SOOO happy I did. Let me tell you...the appointment process was easy and instantaneous. They fit me in on a busy weekend cuz that was the only one I had free, their price was good (very competitive for a QUALITY shop-you get what you pay for), they were waiting for me when I showed up (first appt of the day), I told them what I wanted (cuz I know all after 15+ vehicles right?) but they asked a few questions and made some suggestions. Not only were they great suggestions and the end product came out AMAZING...but dang they were quick too. My doors didn't have solution runs down them, the car was clean when I picked it up, but Jim also even went through the extra effort to find plugs for the holes in my front bumper because "it was bugging him"! Let me first start with: I know nothing about tint. I let my brother do all his research and then tell me where to go. My meticulous brother sent me to 979 Tint! Not only were they able to get me in fairly quickly, but they promised speedy service. Dan went over all my options and patiently explained and offered me choices between the different types of tint options I had. I thought he was genuinely helpful and I never felt like he was pushing a product I didn't need. In the end, I went with an almost clear ceramic tint that was able to block out a significant amount of heat. Vegas summers can be brutal and I am so glad we took care of this in May before the weather got hot! To top it all off, the price was extremely reasonable! Prior to coming to 979 Tint, my main concern was tinting the front windshield of my Model X. I've read horror stories about tint places that couldn't do it in one piece, leaving awful overlap lines. But at 979 tint, they cut everything to exact measurements and installed it quickly and beautifully. A day after receiving my car back, I noticed that a corner of the tint on the driver side window was slightly lifted. When I contacted the shop, they told me to bring it back anytime. When I did, they were super receptive and quick to fix the issue.
