I bought my wife her first Tesla, a 2026 Model Y, and after doing some research on protecting the paint, tint, ceramic coating, etc., I put in a request through Yelp. Dan from 979 Tint was one of the first to respond and offered me a great package deal. At first, it almost sounded too good to be true, so he gave me his cell number, confirmed all the pricing, and took the time to explain what he recommended for the Tesla. He was very knowledgeable and familiar with what these cars need to keep them protected. We decided to go with his recommendations: PPF (clear bra) on the front clip, including the bumper, fenders, mirrors, and rear door corner panels. We also had all the windows re-tinted with ceramic tint since the factory tint doesn't provide the same level of heat and UV protection. On top of that, we had the entire car ceramic coated. The pictures really don't do the work justice! Maria did an awesome job with the PPF, and the tint guys did a great job as well, no bubbles, no streaks, and everything came out super clean! We are definitely happy we chose 979 Tint. I had several other shops reach out, including some with hundreds more reviews, but their prices were also higher. In the end, it wasn't just about getting the cheaper price. We went with 979 Tint because of how comfortable Dan made us feel from the beginning. Great place to get your windows done right! Got a new vehicle and living in Vegas, had to get the windows tinted. Got on Yelp to get some quotes (getting my front windshield, side and back windows as well) and after some messages decided to go with 979 Tint. Now they were not the cheapest or the most expensive quote I got but their attention to detail and actually listening to what I wanted done and helping me decide on how dark to tint my front windshield, sealed the deal for me. What a great experience from Dan and Marisa on getting my Honda Pilot tinted . Prior to selecting a tint shop I messaged several of the shops in the area and when I messaged Dan he responded back immediately and took the time to explain the various tints and the specs for each tint. As Dan recommended, I got the ceramic on all sides and back window and got the crystalline for the windshield. Marisa was also helpful when I got to the shop and helped get me set up. The gentleman at the front is very nice and welcoming. When I walked in, he said, " Welcome, " shook hands, and introduced himself. Then, he asked if he could help me with anything. I've been living in Vegas for years, I don't remember a business that welcomes customers so kindly and professionally. Most front desks would just say, what can I help you with and sometimes in a rude way, without even greeting you or answering your greetings. Central Auto Body referred me to 979 Tint. I took my Prius to them to see if they could add a film to cover my bumper. I didn't go there for tinting; I've never thought of tinting my windows, but now I will tint my windows with them. Since finding out, we were expecting our first kid, we immediately started looking for a reliable tint service that wouldn't break the bank, specifically in ceramic tint. So after a a few days of some online research and a few calls on estimates, I came across 979 Tint. They are an exclusive 3M dealer and that was something we were also looking into. From experience, 3M provides the best material, and they have a lifetime guarantee, so you can't go wrong with that. Just off Russell, 979 Tint is hidden in the corner of a commercial building. Upon entering the office, you're welcomed with a clean space and the front of house associate. We called ahead of time and mentioned we would be coming in (10 am) and we began the paperwork process, which only took roughly 10 min and decided on the tint grade (I would recommend going with a friend, that way you have a ride back until your car is ready). They then told us that we would be expecting a call by mid day once the car was finished. We received a call around 2 pm that the car was ready for pick up and we headed back very eagerly. The job on our Nissan Rogue was absolutely amazing. We decided to go with the 75% tint, which is extremely dark during the night, but gives the best for optimal privacy and heat prevention from the sun during those hot Vegas days. The guarantee we received from the owner was that if there was any chipping from the tint, that they would fix the issue, and that is amazing!!! I was blown away with this shop! I was referred by a friend but I'm such a skeptic of everything so had my doubts. I've had a shop I've taken 15+ vehicles to over the last 20 years but their customer service has gone down a lot, so decided to try a new place. I'm SOOO happy I did. Let me tell you...the appointment process was easy and instantaneous. They fit me in on a busy weekend cuz that was the only one I had free, their price was good (very competitive for a QUALITY shop-you get what you pay for), they were waiting for me when I showed up (first appt of the day), I told them what I wanted (cuz I know all after 15+ vehicles right?) but they asked a few questions and made some suggestions. Not only were they great suggestions and the end product came out AMAZING...but dang they were quick too. My doors didn't have solution runs down them, the car was clean when I picked it up, but Jim also even went through the extra effort to find plugs for the holes in my front bumper because "it was bugging him"! Funny note-they knew I was going to get a pedi while my car got done and both guys complemented my feet when I came back. So to say the least...if you are looking for tint..10000000% recommend. Let me first start with: I know nothing about tint. I let my brother do all his research and then tell me where to go. My meticulous brother sent me to 979 Tint! Not only were they able to get me in fairly quickly, but they promised speedy service. Dan went over all my options and patiently explained and offered me choices between the different types of tint options I had. I thought he was genuinely helpful and I never felt like he was pushing a product I didn't need. In the end, I went with an almost clear ceramic tint that was able to block out a significant amount of heat. Vegas summers can be brutal and I am so glad we took care of this in May before the weather got hot! To top it all off, the price was extremely reasonable! Prior to coming to 979 Tint, my main concern was tinting the front windshield of my Model X. I've read horror stories about tint places that couldn't do it in one piece, leaving awful overlap lines. But at 979 tint, they cut everything to exact measurements and installed it quickly and beautifully. A day after receiving my car back, I noticed that a corner of the tint on the driver side window was slightly lifted. When I contacted the shop, they told me to bring it back anytime.
