Setting up an appointment was easy. We chatted through Yelp. Brian was so kind and helpful, never pressured you with their services. We ended up going with their best option, the Premium Stratos Nano ceramic film with up to 90% heat rejection. With the Vegas heat and having 2 kids, it was a must. Tested the tint with a window tint meter in 111 degree weather outside. We went with Affordable Window Tinting after creating a project in Yelp and getting quotes from 10…read moredifferent companies. At first we went with Polar Tint but during the appointment we realized they gave us a quote for the lower heat rejection material so we left. When getting window tint, always ask for IR or heat rejection percentage. Affordable Window Tinting used ceramic that has 88+% heat rejection (not 3M but comparable) and for 5 windows we paid $300 which was a great price. FYI if you have a Subaru the front mini window counts as a window (we misunderstood at first and thought we could get the back windows too). We got 50% for the windshield and 35% for the front side windows. They have a heat demo you can try in-store so you can feel the difference. Installation took 3 hours (one bad thing is that the waiting area smells heavily of cigarette smoke) so we got lunch and walked around nearby (but it's not the best neighborhood). There were bubbles in the film but like the guy said, they went away in a few days when it cured. Happy with the results!

Ask what kind of film it is carbon vs ceramic matters a lot. Ceramic is what actually helps with heat not just making the windows darker. Also make sure it's 99% UV protection and ask about the warranty because some shops don't really stand behind it They explained the shade options without pushing me into something and told me what to expect during curing so I wasn't worried about it looking a little hazy at first. I was out of knowledge in terms of different types of tint, UV Rays, etc. Aldo explained everything to us so that we can make an informed decision. My car was in and out under two hours. There is a nice area with seating (and cold drinks!) if we needed to wait, also many food options in the area (Dutch Bros, Don Tortaco, etc).
