Dan from 979 Tint was one of the first to respond and offered me a great package deal. At first, it almost sounded too good to be true, so he gave me his cell number, confirmed all the pricing, and took the time to explain what he recommended for the Tesla. He was very knowledgeable and familiar with what these cars need to keep them protected. We decided to go with his recommendations: PPF (clear bra) on the front clip, including the bumper, fenders, mirrors, and rear door corner panels. We also had all the windows re-tinted with ceramic tint since the factory tint doesn't provide the same level of heat and UV protection. On top of that, we had the entire car ceramic coated. The pictures really don't do the work justice! Maria did an awesome job with the PPF, and the tint guys did a great job as well, no bubbles, no streaks, and everything came out super clean! We are definitely happy we chose 979 Tint. I had several other shops reach out, including some with hundreds more reviews, but their prices were also higher. In the end, it wasn't just about getting the cheaper price. We went with 979 Tint because of how comfortable Dan made us feel from the beginning. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. I've already started referring coworkers and friends to them. Now they were not the cheapest or the most expensive quote I got but their attention to detail and actually listening to what I wanted done and helping me decide on how dark to tint my front windshield, sealed the deal for me. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome, quality of the tint is great. The only reason I did but give a five star rating was they had a couple communication hiccups.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. I should have read the reviews. Kevin is a complete misogynistic douche bag. If you are a woman he is going to speak down to you and push you around. He refused to give me what I wanted and ended up pressuring me to spend $500 on shit I didn't want. I was quoted $300 for 5% - yes I know it is illegal. I tried to get 5% at a different shop and they wouldn't give it to me which is why I specifically went HERE because he SAID THEY WOULD. He immediately starts talking me out of getting 5% insisting that I WAS going to get a ticket meanwhile HIM AND HALF THE PEOPLE IN LAS VEGAS drive around with 5% with no problem. He would not just listen to me and let me have what I wanted and just kept mansplaning everything to me like he knows what's best for me because I'm a woman. He condescendingly said to me "I don't want to give you 5% tint and then have you get a ticket and call and yell at me because I tinted your windows 5%". Seriously assuming that just because I am a woman that I would freak out and blame him for me getting a ticket. WTF. I said that's ridiculous I wouldn't do that and he just proceeded to tell me I should get them legal. He was treating me this way because I am a woman like that means I am a child and can't make my own decisions. He kept calling me "sweetie" and baby talking me like he can't just speak to me like I am a human being and let me make my own decisions with my own car and money. A man walked into the shop right after me and told them he wanted 5% tint and they said " alright no problem" and gave him 5% no questions asked. BUT NOT WITH MEEE. Then he proceeded to pressure me into getting higher quality tint so I would spend $200 more than what I was quoted and expecting to pay. I just wanted the first grade of ceramic tint because I was NOT looking to spend much money on tint certainly not 500 freaking dollars, but he INSISTED that the lowest grade would not be good enough to block heat out of my car and pressured me into spending $200 more. He made me walk outside with him for like 10 minutes showing me different tint and continuing to insist that I don't get what I went there for. I already knew it was illegal and was not concerned about it and he was just being controlling and manipulative treating me like I'm an idiot and can't make my own decisions. I should have just left. He showed me his own car that has 5% WHICH IS WHAT I WANTED, but proceeded to MANSPLAIN and insist that it was not what I should get because if I DO I WILL get a ticket - as if only men should have that tint like wtf. After I saw the tint I was not happy because IT IS NOT WHAT I WANTED. He said it would be darker than it actually is, so I was thinking it might be fine since he refused to give me 5%. I have factory tint on my back windows and he said that the tint would be darker than that BUT IT IS NOT - my factory tint looks DARKER than what he gave me. I already paid and decided to give it some time and think about it, but ultimately decided that I really do not like it. He told me that if FOR ANY REASON I do not like the tint to call and let him know. I called and was very polite in letting him know I wasn't happy with it. He immediately started attacking me on the phone, raising his voice at me, and talking over me constantly interrupting me and would not let me speak which is the same psychotic misogynistic way he was acting towards me at the shop when he pressured me into spending more money and getting something I didn't want. He proceeded to GASLIGHT ME and blame me for the situation and would not take responsibility for it at all - he would not work with me like give me a deal or anything! He kept saying I was the one who was concerned about it being legal which is not true and that it was all my idea to get something different which is not true. He was acting like a car salesman pressuring me into buying something that I didn't want. There was no reason for him to insist I not get the 5%. The tint he made me get was not any more expensive than what I wanted, so it's not like he would make more money from it being a lighter tint. But of course pressuring me into spending $200 more on higher quality tint did make him more money. It was just all about him wanting to be in control and make the decision for me AS IF A WOMAN CANT decide for herself what work she wants done on her own car. I was pressured into spending $500 (plus a $50 tip I paid in advance assuming it was going to be what I fucking wanted) for some shit I DID NOT WANT. Now I am going to have to go somewhere else and spend at least $300 more to get the 5% I WANTED turning a simple $300 tint job into a $900 tint job because now I have to get it redone by someone who is not a misogynistic pig. RIDICULOUS. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I do not understand pressuring a customer to buy shit they don't want, pressuring them to spend more money than they want, and taking their money with no remorse read more

I went to see Kevin two months ago to get my SUV and car tinted, and I will be going again to him in a month to add more tint to a new vehicle I purchased because Kevin and his staff treat you like family . Their work is phenomenal and prices too , kevin is humble and down to earth, he makes sure his clients are ok the whole time your sitting in his lobby and he loves kids!! I brought my husbands Escalade in here after a previous tint job began peeling. Kevin was the man! He treated my hubby's baby like his own baby. The Dark Knight not only looks pristine again he was even able to refer me to a great repair shop to fix the running board motor (which had crapped out!) In less than a day, he had all 4 windows retinted, the car delivered to repair shop, had the car fixed and even picked me up after the job was completed. Amazing job on my tint, its rare to find anyone who knows their craft, however Kevin is a true artist, i was able to watch as he hand-cut every piece of tint to perfectly fit my truck. I could review the product (can get that film almost anywhere) but the reason i will bring every vehicle i buy from now on to got tint, is the passion for amazing quality, the attention to detail, and the customer service. Kevin has done four of my vehicles so far, ranger, f-150, gf's elantra, and now the tacoma and each time the job is perfect! I'm super picky about any bubbles, color shade, and how clean it looks. There were absolutely no bubbles, tint isn't brown or purple shaded like the crappy $99 tint jobs people get and the tint lines up perfectly with the edge of the side window glass (damn near looks like privacy glass that's how good it is). It has been a couple weeks so time for the Review. Kevin was very friendly. Got me in right away. I work next door so it was easy to drop off for the day. He showed me several options but never tried to upsell me on anything. He tinted my 2018 ZR2 all the way around. Some have said he is a little more expensive than others but I was very pleased with the price and the quality of work was outstanding. I had Kevin tint 2 of my cars already and wanted to have the windshield tinted on one of them now. I went in yesterday to schedule an appointment and look at my options. He showed me what's available and I decided on how dark I wanted it. I figured what I wanted and he asked if I wanted to do it right now and I told him go ahead. He has always been fair about price and if he says it's ready tomorrow it's usually done earlier.... The pictures really don't do the work justice! Maria did an awesome job with the PPF, and the tint guys did a great job as well, no bubbles, no streaks, and everything came out super clean! We are definitely happy we chose 979 Tint. I had several other shops reach out, including some with hundreds more reviews, but their prices were also higher. In the end, it wasn't just about getting the cheaper price. We went with 979 Tint because of how comfortable Dan made us feel from the beginning. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. I've already started referring coworkers and friends to them. Great place to get your windows done right! Got a new vehicle and living in Vegas, had to get the…read morewindows tinted. Got on Yelp to get some quotes (getting my front windshield, side and back windows as well) and after some messages decided to go with 979 Tint. Now they were not the cheapest or the most expensive quote I got but their attention to detail and actually listening to what I wanted done and helping me decide on how dark to tint my front windshield, sealed the deal for me. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome, quality of the tint is great. The only reason I did but give a five star rating was they had a couple communication hiccups.
