We called a DIFFERENT company to perform diagnostics but instead got a visit from their sales representative who was trying to sell us a lot of upgrades. He refused to look at our receiver and did not even ask their tech to come because their company did not do the installation. Fast forward, my husband found Maximum Audio and they are AMAZING! So we cleared our day, our time is not as important as theirs. When they arrived, they asked what's the problem, I explained and told them what I had tried. I called maximum audio video to have a Sony 83 oled wall mounted and move my LG 77 oled to another room . Jarrod, the owner, informed me that he is a Sony dealer and can get me the tv for same price as I found through Amazon or retailer . How convenient that was . I called him on a Tuesday and he came out to look at my rooms and gave me an estimate the next day. I found out he also could update my audio system from my current home builder theatre 5.1 set up. He was never pushy about any of it . I ended up getting all new in ceiling speakers (klipch) and a marantz av receiver . He is an authorized dealer of the equipment so I purchased everything through him . His son Noah was with him to install everything on Friday . They both were very personable and did an amazing job. Having just relocated to Las Vegas from Chicago, my sound system consisted of several nice components accompanied by a box of endless tangled wires, chargers, remotes, etc. Jarrod sorted through everything, provided recommendations on possible system upgrades and got everything assembled so I could listen to my music. I should have done this when I first got everything installed but better late than never! If you need audio and video equipment that not only fits your needs (and not some other audio video guy just giving you a laundry list of items you didn't really ask for) AND you want customer service, this is your company hands down! I called a few audio/video guys cause I wanted to do my research and see who's offering the best deal. So I reached out to about 3 different companies and out of the 3, Jarrod (owner) was a bit higher in price but why I ultimately chose Jarrod was because he and his son were attentive to who I was as a consumer. First off, when they came to the house to assess what I wanted to do, Noah, Jarrod's son, noticed that my in wall speaker covers (brand new home that was pre-wired and the builder already provided speakers) weren't closed all the way and so it wasn't flushed to the ceiling. I always noticed this but just thought that the speakers already in there were just bulky or something. Needless to say, Noah took the initiative and fixed something that was so simple and he didn't have to do (since I technically at this time didn't even choose them yet as my audio/video company) but did it anyways. That attention to customer service are things I pay attention to cause like the saying goes, action speaks louder than words. Then, Jarrod started asking me what I wanted to do and he could tell by what I wanted to do with my home, I wanted a cool setup to entertain my guests. Because my home was already pre-wired, I was just going to use the speakers the builder provided. Jarrod recommended for me to change my 9 speakers that I had all over my home. He basically said that if I want a nice setup, I'm going to be disappointed with the sound if we used the speakers from the builder. Even though this cost me more, what I appreciate about Jarrod was that he picked up on key words about how I wanted my audio/video setup to be. The other audio/video consultants I met with didn't do this at all and was going to use the pre-wired speakers and either keep my costs down (to try and get me to go with them) or even worse (added things like network equipment that I didn't really need but stated it's needed for a big house like mine). I talked about making sure my internet is on point (with the other guys) but my home has fiber optics and I've never had issues with all my equipment Jarrod installed for me so in hindsight, I knew I didn't need all that "network" equipment. Needless to say, after meeting with Jarrod, I knew he was my guy to set my home up. Now although, Jarrod was a bit pricier but that's because of the 9 speakers that I added which I didn't mind cause at the end of the day, I wanted a nice setup for my family and guests to enjoy. But even though he was a bit (not by much) pricier, Jarrod still worked with me on the price which I appreciated (I even checked each product on his invoice and the prices were close to what was our there if I got them individually myself). Lastly, I've had a few minor things popped up after everything was installed and Jarrod is always available and helped me troubleshoot certain situations and helped me fixed them over the phone which I appreciate this type of customer service (I'm in the customer service field). Overall, I know If I ever move or want to do more things around the house, Jarrod and his team are the only ones I trust my home with and you will too if you ever get a chance to have them help you out. read more

You may wonder why it has taken me five years to finally post this long suffering review. I hired Maximum to install our A/V services during an extensive remodeling preceding a move into our new condo. It involved the hookup of two TV's in different rooms, an integrated stereo system, and in-wall speakers. I instructed Maximum to work closely with our contractor to ensure proper placement and wiring. Things went awry from there. The specially constructed cabinet was configured wrongly with drawers put in place where the woofer was supposed to go. The cabinet had to be reconstructed at additional cost. The wasted drawers are still sitting in my garage. The condo is supposed to have two wire feeds: one for cable, the other for broadband. The second wire has mysteriously disappeared. Now I'm stuck with a dual modem from Cox and their expensive cable services. I cannot take advantage of alternatives, such as Direct TV, or any other that may come along in the future. I'm still wondering why they never hooked up the Denon AVR to the home network for internet radio. Upon completion of their work, they gave me a bill and a sixty second operational tutorial on the use of a MX-900i complex remote at the same time as I was focusing attention on my primary contractor's work. It took me awhile to figure out the operational learning curve. Now that Cox has recently upgraded my cable service to Contour, the new cable remote is unable to turn both the TV and sound system on/off simultaneously. Maximum has never called back to check on my satisfaction. They just packed up and left. In retrospect. I should've been more diligent in hiring rather than relying solely on Yelp for a recommendation. A word to the wise, don't make the same mistake. I appreciate Jarrod's response to make good. As it was there was reluctance to call him back at the time. The TV cabinet error was fixed on the spot although unnecessary expense was incurred. I didn't learn about the wiring problem until a few years later when we attempted to switch from Cox to Direct TV. There were several unsuccessful attempts to find the dual wire. Restringing the wire would have involved drilling through neighbors ceiling and walls. The learning curve on the remote took some time, but finally mastered that. The hookup of the Denon AVR to the home network would now require an inaccessible LAN line connection through a closed wall. So, if Jarred would like to give it a go, he's welcome to try. read more

They were so great - I called and they said they would be out at a certain time, and lo and behold they showed up. He looked at our system and told us what we should do, and we said - can we get something cheaper? He said "no problem" once he realized we're not into sound systems, rewired what we had and made our Bose work. We will be moving soon and did not want to spend a bunch of money on upgrades and they were totally sympathetic, I really appreciated that, as we are on a fixed income. The mount I bought did not have the correct bolts with it, but that was no problem as Jarrod had extra bolts of all sizes to make sure we could get the job.
