Safe and secure responded to me the next day and set me up with appointment for someone to come out and survey my house to see what I needed and how they could make it work. Everything was good and we set a date for install. As we all know life happens and some adjustment needed to be made. I called John and he was able to accommodate a change in my install date. Some of these so-called experts wouldn't respond at all. Others would respond and then ask me what I thought was wrong. Um, if I knew that, Einstein, I wouldn't be Googling "audio installer near me while slowly losing my will to live." One guy asked if I tested the wires (I hadn't), and then told me to go to Lowe's and buy a tool to check for power. At that point, I considered just hiring my neighbor's kid--at least he knows how Bluetooth works. Enter: Hometronic (cue angelic choir and bass drop). Found them on Google--along with two other companies--but Hometronic responded within 20 minutes and offered to come out same day. YES. A real live human with a truck and tools who knew what the heck he was doing. Mitchell showed up, and to be honest, even he had to scratch his head at first (which gave me slight PTSD flashbacks to the other guys), but here's the difference: Mitchell diagnosed, tested, and figured it out. Turns out one outdoor speaker was toast--fried due to someone (cough "Indoor-Wire-Is-Fine-For-Outside" guy cough) doing the original install. The other speaker was fine, but the whole wiring job looked like a spaghetti monster had a breakdown. A few days later, Mitchell returned with new outdoor speakers, rewired the system properly (WITH ACTUAL OUTDOOR WIRE--revolutionary, I know), cleaned up the mess, tucked the wires neatly out of the elements, and BAM--I had music again. Moral of the story: Don't trust your speakers, sanity, or electrical system to randos on budget apps. Hire a pro. Read the reviews. And when in doubt, call Hometronic. They'll actually show up, know what they're doing, and won't make you test wires like it's your side gig. Would 1000% use again. Thanks Mitchell--you're the real MVP.

Luckily for us, we were out of town and the alarm system and quick follow thru by Brantley's patrol team deterred them from entering our house and stealing our stuff. The technicians worked with us on the install to help upgrade the infrastructure that was built with the house (which is about 10 years old) so that we would have all the newest and up to date technologies. They did not try to "up-sell" us on things we didn't need and gave us options so we could decide what level of protection we felt was right for us. The service and install has been exceptional and the office has been great when confirming our information after a tripped an alarm. We now can control and monitor everything directly from an app on our phone and receive notifications via text any time the alarm is set or turned off. We have recommended Brantley to our in-laws and my mother after our experience with them; they are by far the best security and monitoring company we have found in the Las Vegas Valley.
