I brought a tablet in to get fixed and they told me that they would order the parts, which would only take 4-6 days to be delivered, and that they should have it fixed within 1 day. I went back in on the 7th day asking for an update (because I didn't get one). They told me that they weren't sure if the parts came in because they didn't check their deliveries. My style isn't to create problems, so I told them I would be back. I asked them if they were going to contact me when it was done, and they asked me for my information. I told them that they should have had it from when I brought the tablet in? It was very strange to me. They didn't send a receipt through email as promised either. At this point, I started to worry a bit that I was going to get scammed, but I held on to faith that they would do the right thing. My husband went to pick it up weeks later and it was ready. My husband asked why they didn't send us an update that it was done. Their response was "it should have been sent out in an email." That email never came. Did they fix the screen? Yes. It was in great condition. I am glad they came through with that. My only issue is the transparency of their process. If you're not on them, I swear they might keep your item, say it was abandoned, or that they never had it. At least that is how my experience with them came off to me. Oh, and make sure you get a receipt before you leave! I can say that that part was my fault, trusting that it would have came through email. I know better now if there is a next time, anywhere.

I've recommended them, defended them, and even did so in-store less than 24 hours before this went sideways. Then it fell apart. I dropped off my laptop at 2:30 p.m. for what I was told was a simple job: remove a RAID controller, copy data, and install a second SSD. I was promised it was "easy," that data transfer was the only real step, and that I'd have it back by 2 p.m. the next day. I was signed up for text updates--none came. At 5:45 p.m. that same day, I called to check in. I was told the transfer was "60-70% done." Two other people heard that call. The next day was a string of delays, missed calls, and vague updates. By 4:30 p.m.--well past the promised deadline--I finally learned the truth: no data had been transferred, no work had been done, and the laptop hadn't even been turned on. (Alienware logs don't lie.) Then came the real problem: Jonas. Instead of owning the failure, he pivoted to condescension and denial--telling me I "don't understand RAID," insisting no one promised a next-day turnaround, claiming my SSD was defective (it isn't), and denying statements multiple people heard firsthand. In short, the story changed, the facts didn't, and I was treated like the problem. Meanwhile, I can't get anyone to tell me my data was safe; I was panicking as any normal person would. I have backups, scattered across several drives and will take days to recover to 90% of what was on the laptop. I got the laptop back around 5 p.m., untouched until 3:30 that afternoon--hours after I was told work was already mostly complete. How do I know this? Because every powerup, every keystroke is logged by the laptop's security system. See shots below: One can see exactly when it was plugged in. Mistakes happen. I can deal with delays and mistakes. We're all human. What I don't tolerate is being misled, talked down to, and effectively called a liar when there's clear evidence otherwise, indicating precisely who did what and when. Curious isn't it, how some business project their own failings onto others, rather than just honestly owning the problem and making it right? That's how I manage my clients, anyway. Explain the failure, offer a solution, make it right, and everybody stays friendly. I'd never consider insulting a client; it cost a lot to gain them, and it's easily 30X more costly to lose one. Clients share experiences. Here, and elsewhere. And people trust those shares of personal experiences. shared on review sites. As I'll do on every review site I can find after the insults tossed at me. What a shame; my most trusted go-to gone means now finding their replacement.

We talked back and forth and agreed to have the service performed on 08/29/2025. I gave them the TV model and how I wanted the tv mounted. We Mount tv said they would do some research and get back to me tomorrow 08/27/2025. I never got a call from them, this should have been a red flag off the bat but I gave them a chance and people do forget or get busy it happens. Unfortunately the TV I purchased wouldn't be delivered until 08/29/2025 so therefore I couldn't give We Mount TV a time to perform the service (My fault). I called them back and let them know about the situation and we agree to instead have the TV mounted on 08/30/2025 at 09:00 AM. I called We Mount TV on 08/29/2025 at 1:40pm to confirm our appointment for 08/30/2025 they said everything was good to go and the appointment was confirmed. On 08/30/2025 I got a text message from We Mount TV at 09:09 stating the tech was sick and they were going to move some stuff around so they can get someone out to mount the tv that day but at a later time. I replied with OK do you know what time? I never got a response, I still gave them a chance and thought Mayne they are busy just trying to finish some jobs and would get back to me. I decided to give them until Tuesday 09/02/2025 to get back to me since it was the Labor Day weekend, still giving them a chance to redeem themselves and use the Labor Day weekend as an excuse for the reason they dropped the ball. I am writing this review on 09/06/2025 at 8:17PM and I still have not heard from WE Mount TV. Not an apology no nothing, simply left on read and ghosted. Note to Self (and Anyone With Ears): Stop Hiring "Audio Experts" From Craigslist Unless You Enjoy…read moreHeadaches and Fire Hazards After 2 months of dealing with professional audio guys from Thumbtack, Craigslist, and Angi (I use the word "professional" the same way people call a microwave "cooking"), I was ready to launch my entire sound system into orbit. Some of these so-called experts wouldn't respond at all. Others would respond and then ask me what I thought was wrong. Um, if I knew that, Einstein, I wouldn't be Googling "audio installer near me while slowly losing my will to live." One guy asked if I tested the wires (I hadn't), and then told me to go to Lowe's and buy a tool to check for power. At that point, I considered just hiring my neighbor's kid--at least he knows how Bluetooth works. Enter: Hometronic (cue angelic choir and bass drop). Found them on Google--along with two other companies--but Hometronic responded within 20 minutes and offered to come out same day. YES. A real live human with a truck and tools who knew what the heck he was doing. Mitchell showed up, and to be honest, even he had to scratch his head at first (which gave me slight PTSD flashbacks to the other guys), but here's the difference: Mitchell diagnosed, tested, and figured it out. Turns out one outdoor speaker was toast--fried due to someone (cough "Indoor-Wire-Is-Fine-For-Outside" guy cough) doing the original install. The other speaker was fine, but the whole wiring job looked like a spaghetti monster had a breakdown. A few days later, Mitchell returned with new outdoor speakers, rewired the system properly (WITH ACTUAL OUTDOOR WIRE--revolutionary, I know), cleaned up the mess, tucked the wires neatly out of the elements, and BAM--I had music again. Moral of the story: Don't trust your speakers, sanity, or electrical system to randos on budget apps. Hire a pro. Read the reviews. And when in doubt, call Hometronic. They'll actually show up, know what they're doing, and won't make you test wires like it's your side gig. Would 1000% use again. Thanks Mitchell--you're the real MVP.

Kory and I talked about what it was, Starlink is a space based internet antenna company from SpaceX (an Elon Musk company). These antennas provide internet to mostly rural areas underserved by the big crappy ISP's. Kory was great, had all the right tools and even had the mounting hardware for me as mine still hadn't shipped. Quick/clean install through the attic so there's no ugly wires on the side of the house. I would highly recommend this company for installing your equipment.
