So this company came to my house 4 times 2 fix an electrical issue in my attic. Unfortunately, the keep sending the same 2 people that don't know what they're doing. Something with my electric pool features such as my pool pump, pool lights, etc was tripping the circuit breaker. I called allstate to fix it or give me an estimate. A tech came out and told me that allstate would have to replace the entire electric panel outside and the control panel inside my house. The panel is only 20 years old . We bought an old house! Well...."OLD" by Las Vegas standards it was built in 1992! LOL! It had not been touched since it was put on the market by the developer. To say she needed a face-lift was an understatement! We started and dug in! The house needed an bunch of electrical upgrades, light fixture changes, a whole bunch of stuff. And since Allstate had done some work at my place of employment, I decided to give them a call. And so glad I did! Alex was assigned to my job. He was AMAZING! Such an incredible eye for detail. Even when I was trying to be cheap, and save a few dollars he would politely explain why that was not the right decision and what would be a better choice. And he was ALWAYS 100% correct! I was so glad to have him on board. In the end, they came to the house 3 different times, as the work progressed to completion. Every time with a smile and taking care of everything that was needed, even a few last minute requests that I asked for after they arrived. 6/2/2016 UPDATE: Here's the worst part of their work: they installed a 20-ampere circuit breaker for a patio addition in my backyard and tied it into an existing electrical cable that is rated for 15 ampere. This is a potential fire hazard since it could overload the cable. And their response? Something like "We didn't install the 15-amp cable so we could care less." Why didn't you just put a 15-ampere breaker instead? That could have avoided the whole problem, but these people do sloppy work at best, and what's worse is that the Nevada building code actually lets contractors get away with this type of shoddy work. However, are they willing to come and replace the incorrect circuit breaker that THEY installed? I wrote them on May 26th, 2016 requesting they come do this. Lets count the days for them to respond. There are plenty of licensed electricians in the Las Vegas area. Please consider instead going with one that actually stands both by their work and believes in delivering great customer service. *************************** Shady business practices. I wanted some clarification on what they charged me for and they were reluctant to give it to me. I requested that they send an estimator over to review the work rendered and what was left to be completed and, instead, they sent me a "Past Due" invoice. Mind you, they had sent an estimator in the past to review the work but this time they refused to do so. They left an outdoor wall plug unfinished and did not run a data cable to where I wanted, so when I asked about this, they said "they'd get back to me" which never happened. I have to call another electrician regarding this work to get it completed. I ended up paying them the invoice but now I'm noticing that there is a spool of Romex cabling that is unused, yet they charged me for it, and that a wall plug that's connected to a circuit they worked on is now not working (but this may or may not be related to their work - again, they're unresponsive to my requests for clarification on this), and a circuit breaker they installed is loose in the panel. Otherwise, the stuff they did complete works, but all in all, I won't be using them again. When I render services for clients, I take time and ensure that the client is satisfied with the work and understands the justification behind the invoice. They did none of that. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would every day of the week. What an excellent company and I can say that because I've been using them for over 5 years. I met the owner a few months after they opened the doors of Allstate Electric and have been using them ever since. The first thing we had them do was a ceiling fan install where they had to make it fit in the ceiling - it was all very specific and thorough. The technicians that came out I think their name were mike and mishka (not sure how to spell that) and they were very kind. They took their time to ask about the different ceiling fan options we were looking for and even though we had an idea of what we wanted at first they stepped us through the whole catalog so we could get the perfect ceiling fans installed - it was a great experience getting the EXACT fans we wanted. I'm sure with any other electrician we'd of gotten what we thought we wanted at first instead of taking our time and really getting exactly what we were looking for. The next thing we had installed were some LED lights in our stairway along with some Blue & Green LED lights that make the entire house look very appealing - the president of our homeowners association came over and asked us who had installed our led lights and if they could come over and do this house so we gave him Allstate Electric's number and he had them come out and do it to his house - COPIER! A few weeks later one of the gals at the office at Allstate Electric called to make sure we were happy with everything that had been installed and replaced and I let her know exactly how much I loved the new lights and new ceiling fans (I'm still so excited about them). She asked if I would be will to write a review and I said absolutely but that was a couple years ago and I forgot. A few months went by and everything was great until one of our neighbors had their home broken into and they didn't have any security cameras or security lights. This was a big problem for us since we know all the technology is out there and available to us. So once again we called Allstate Electric and they sent out a technician named Dillon, and this guy was not only a top notch electrician but he was a god fearing young man. Finding a young person that is committed to their job and committed to their faith is a great sign for the level of workmanship Allstate Electric is hiring. I knew already that they only hire quality electrician who are highly trained and equipped to handle both residential and commercial jobs but I did not know they were going after the crème de le crème. Very impressive Allstate Electric! Now we have 16 cameras installed all over the interior and exterior of our home so we can see every angle of our home (except our bedroom - that's private). The security lights are nice for taking out the trash as well =) This last time I called them was around thanksgiving as we were building our add on addition for the kiddo and so we can all have our own space. Allstate Electric needed to do just about everything for this project like installing new GFI's outlets - add the new addition to the beaker setup and get it all hooked in with our main electric setup. Then install all the wiring throughout the addition which turned out to be much more work than we had all expected since the contractors built it very uniquely. But once all the wiring was in place the walls went up and then the canned and recessed lighting was put in. These are very cool since they kind of sink into the wall along with all the different variations of colors and dimness and brightness. All the LED lighting products that Allstate Electric has to offer are amazing and worth asking about if you're serious about imporving your home. Then came the ceiling fans for the room which again we went through and found the perfect ones for my son. 10 star jobs from Allstate Electric. Allstate electricians in Las Vegas did an excellent job when they came out to our home and installed some new lights and redid our wiring for home entertainment system. The ceiling fans in the old house had to go cuz they were terrible and they made a racket everytime I turn them on. Also the intercom that came with the house needed to be removed because it didn't work correctly. Allstate electric came out and fixed all of these problems in one day and we thought it might take a couple.
