I really tried to handle this situation with Alex personally but he picked to ghost me at the end of it.. Task Electric was recommended to us after purchasing our Spa. He was nothing but amazing in the beginning. We asked him if they could install a car charger outlet in the garage and they did. Another electric company was at my house and and he knew right away the outlet that Task Electric installed was a fire hazard. Please read the issues he found and put in writing for me I've had to remove the NEMA 14-50 outlet that was installed since it was done incorrectly. There was serval code violations that could cause this to be a fire hazard or potentially damage the battery on your EV. - Circuit breaker was sized incorrectly. 60A was used instead of 50A. This protects the receptacle and mobile connector which is designed to never exceed certain amperage limitations and prevent fire. - There's no GFCI protection which is a newer code requirement for EV outlets installed in the garage. - Bare of exposed wires that weren't concealed within the junction box and left within wall cavity. I instantly reached out to Alex regarding this issue and he did nothing but put excuses out there and let me know the gentleman that came and installed that has been with the company not more than a year and probably did not realize he put a 60 amp in and not a 50 amp. how great is that? Alex did let me know they can come back out and i'm sorry.. but absolutely NO. He wants to tell me this was a small mistake when clearly it is NOT a small mistake and multiple code violations. I asked him lets talk on reimbursement (I would've been happy with HALF back) and he ghosted me and hasn't responded to me. They take your money and leave the moment you do not agree with them and not letting them come back out and i instantly don't trust you guys will do it right the next time.. Fingers crossed the wires for my spa is correct and not run into an issue with that as well. My next stop will be going to the board.. Thankfully all my conversations regarding this was over text. Also thankful the person i recommended this company to was instantly told to throw away the card the moment Alex ghosted the way he did.. "All fans wobble" Alex Zarandioon, owner of Task Electric said after installing the fan in our master bedroom. When pressed, he stated "it would take hours and hours to balance". That's when we knew we were in trouble. The second fan was installed in the adjacent office area by his employee at the end of the day. He rushed out so quickly we only noticed the dangerously wobbling fan after they'd left. Now we had 2 wobbling fans and to add insult, both fans were activated when either remote was pressed. They had neglected to change one of the codes prior to installing. We hired Alex instead of Lamps Plus as we had some other electrical issues. Later, over the phone, Lamps Plus told me the fans are balanced from the factory and would not require "balancing" if they are installed correctly, and no employee would ever leave the job with a fan wobbling. Alex offered to return but having lost all confidence in his work we knew that having him back would only make things worse. We decided to hire a professional fan installer (Lamps Plus) and asked Alex for a refund for the cost to have the fans re-installed ($95 a fan). ALEX DID NOT REFUND US, but we are relieved with our choice and this is why: Lamps Plus technicians came and took the fans down, then reinstalled them with no balancing issues. What they did find was rather disturbing: THE REMOTES: * Alex neglected to re-code one remote prior to install so both fans were turning off and on when either remote was pushed. This would have been taken care of by a professional who regularly installs fans. OFFICE FAN (we had a can light changed to a fan): * The ground wire was not stripped and connected. A serious omission. * Alex supplied a decorative medallion with an indent to cover the can light hole. It needed to be flush, as such they only used 2 of the 4 screws to secure the fan cover since the other two would not fit. * The light kit was loose, it was not screwed down and was also missing a nut. This alone would make the fan wobble. BEDROOM FAN: * The canopy screw was not used (missing). * The screws from the rod to motor were not tightened. * The wiring was not done correctly to the receiver. * The junction box had to be replaced since Alex used 2 different wood screws on the metal junction box. One screw was secure, but the other fell out when it was being taken down. The fans were wobbling due to missing screws, using incorrect screws & parts not being screwed down securely. During our back and forth, Alex kept bringing up a GFI he had offered to install for free and all the discounts. I don't know about any "discounts" as they were not pointed out to me. We hired Alex because he had good reviews and he assured us when he came by for the estimate that he was capable of the work. No "discount" makes up for work that is done so incorrectly that a fan could fall from the ceiling, short out and/or catch fire or have to be re-installed. Lamps Plus took less than 2 hours and we now have a 2 year guarantee. They did the job that should have been done the first time. read more

I needed an electrician to run lines to the ceilings in two bedrooms (and put up ceiling light fixtures), and to hang a ceiling fan in the master bedroom (the electric lines were already there, but no fixture). In addition, there was a hanging light in the family room that was in a very poor spot and hung much too low. I wanted someone who could remove that light and put up a ceiling fan in the center of the room. In addition, there were 5 outlets which were controlled by light switches that I wanted to have converted to outlets that were always on. I called a number of electricians in the Las Vegas area, including Task Electric. Alex sent me a message saying that he wanted to come out and see the house and discuss the work in person so he would have a full understanding of what I wanted to be done. I liked that as we would both have a full understanding of the work and the cost for it. It was important to me to get the work done quickly, and Alex said he could get the job done that same week. His crew was scheduled to be at my house at 8:00 am two days later, and they arrived about 10 minutes early. That was another thing that impressed me about this company as they made sure they were on time. And coming early is always a good thing in my opinion. We walked through the house and discussed exactly what work was to be done (to make sure there was no confusion). Alex arrived shortly thereafter to make sure that his crew knew what to do and to let me know that if I should have any questions or concerns while the crew was there, I could call him (he was scheduled for a different job that day). It said a lot about him that he came to my house to make sure everyone was on the same page about the work, especially since he had arranged their schedules so they could get the job done right away. The crew did a great job. They started with the family room and were able to center the ceiling fan so that the lights would illuminate the entire room. This process required them running electrical lines to the new placement and then removing the old light and capping the previous hole in the ceiling where it hung. I also wanted the ceiling fan to be wired to a double switchplate where one switch would control the light and the other would control the fan (I wanted to be able to turn either on without having both on). They hung the same type of ceiling fan in the master bedroom and wired it the same way as in the family room (double switchplate with one switch working the light and the other working the fan). After that, they moved on to the two smaller bedrooms. Those rooms were somewhat of a challenge as there were no electrical lines running to the ceiling in them, and they had to run the lines to the switch on the wall and the middle of the ceiling. That involved them going into the attic to get the wires where they needed to be. Everything went well, but there was an issue with the ceiling fan in the family room. When the fan was on low or medium speeds, it worked great. But when it was turned on to high, the fixture started shaking a lot. I was very concerned about that, and the crew double checked that it was mounted correctly and that everything was as tight as could be. The electrician explained that sometimes the fan motors are not balanced correctly and that he felt this was what was happening in this instance. He also said that the store where I bought the fans (Home Depot) would exchange the one that wasn't working properly. He also said that they could come back when I got another fan and put it up for me (and take down the old one). I was very concerned that I would have to pay for another fan to be installed, but when I called Alex to discuss the situation, he said that when I got another fan, they would take the old one down and put the new one up free of charge. I was extremely impressed with this as it wasn't an issue with how the fan was installed by his crew, but rather it was an issue with a defective fan being purchased at Home Depot. Today his crew came back and took down the bad fan and installed the new one. In addition to taking the old one down, they also took it apart so it could be put back into the box it was purchased in, and could be returned to the store. It says a lot about this company that they do the little things that their customers appreciate. It would have been a difficult for me to take everything apart by myself and they were able to do that for me. In my experience, a lot of companies don't go the extra mile like Task did. In addition, when they were done with the work when they originally did the job and again today when they came back, they did an excellent job cleaning all of the places where they did work. Obviously I recommend this company very highly, and would not hesitate to use them again for any electrical needs in the future. In addition, I have recommended them to a number of people and will continue to do so. read more

I received 2 other bids from others and they seem to be somewhat shady with quoting an estimate. Alex was straight to the point. Then when I was ready to install my pendant chandelier Sam completed the job. He did an amazing job. I didn't have pre-wire on my ceiling so I was concern about how it could be done. No holes in my wall. The other contractors were saying they might have to puncture 3-5 holes in my wall. Sam only made one hole which was for my lighting.
