I needed a new direct line to my panel box (outside of my garage) for a recently installed whole-house humidifier on the same wall in my garage. Not the toughest job in the world. Called the company recommended by the HVAC company. Texted them the info, all the pics requested, etc. Crickets. For days. No response. Called a highly recommended company here on YELP on a Thursday. Got an immediate return call, but the earliest visit to evaluate the situation was the following Wednesday. Understandable, but not ideal. Next called Central Power. Owner George Diaz answered. Said he could stop by in the next two hours. Great guy who provided an extremely fair estimate on the spot. Said they could do the work the next day, too. Sold me! Eddie Arevalo arrived the following morning with an assistant. Did a GREAT job and then left the area spotless. Highly recommend Central Power. In fact, just had them out to take advantage of their Summer Inspection Special for my electrical system. Best $99 I ever spent. read more

Central Power is wonderful and top notch. George is so easy to communicate with and the scheduling is seamless. We needed to replace a ceiling fan with a light fixture in the master bedroom. After calling George, he scheduled it quickly and the process from there was effortless. Eddie, the technician arrived, was prompt, and quick to remove the ceiling fan, clean the floor, and get rid of the ceiling fan. Next, he replaced it with the lighr fixture, all within minutes and stayed to answer questions. Very professional from start to finish. I would utilize Central Power again! read more

Fast and speedy service. Brand new outlet for my rv installed a day after getting the estimate.

George and crew are absolutely amazing! We had an issue with power to our garage and they were here within the hour tonight! No extra charge for Saturday. And he replaced the GFCI outlet for a very reasonable cost. You can't go wrong with using Central Power for all your electrical needs! read more

The electrician came out and inspected the issue and hopefully resolved the issue in 15 minutes. I said great, I have 45 minutes, please change out my ring doorbell with a newer one. He did not want to change it because he had another job. I wanted to get an hours worth of work. I thought he had more than enough time to swap out the doorbell. He was in a great rush!!! He did not want to install the doorbell. What happened if the job took longer than hour? I should have received an hours time if I paid for an hour. The guy was in a rush!!! I did not add a last minute request. I told George upfront when he arrived. George was in a rush. I give a lot of positive reviews. Your company should learn from this honest review instead of making up excuses. read more

I've had two excellent experiences with Central Power LLC, and I'm happy to recommend them. The first time, we suddenly lost power, and they found serious burn damage in our main electrical panel. They explained what was happening and why replacing the panel was the safest solution, then took care of the work professionally. More recently, they replaced five outdoor lights, and that experience was just as positive. Their pricing felt reasonable, and it's reassuring to find a company you can count on for both an urgent repair and a smaller home project. I'm grateful for their great service! read more

This is my second job done by Central power! They are the best! The workers are amazing and friendly. Trust when I say, they don't try to up charge you for labor or materials, the pricing is MORE than fair! I was quoted on a Sunday evening. This company was very flexible with their timing because I have a busy schedule for work. They started installing my Tesla charger in the morning before the charger was even delivered. Then came back out to hook up the charger after it was delivered that same day! Thank you Central power! 10/10 recommend! read more

I called central power for a quote on an ev charger on a Wednesday and by Friday the charger was installed and ready to go. I was impressed with their speed and quality of work. While they weren't the cheapest quote I got, I felt like their knowledge (and previous posts) made me feel secure in hiring them. I'd rather pay more knowing something was going to get done right. They don't have this many great reviews for nothing. I would definitely hire them again. read more

We suddenly lost power in one of the outlets in our living room. Central Power came out the same day we reached out for a quote. The electrician was responsive, efficient, and transparent about costs (which were very reasonable). He was able to get our outlet working again in less than an hour, and even took a look at our electrical box to provide information for a future project. We would definitely work with Central Power again! read more

I've used Central Power 4 times now in all my properties- super efficient and reliable company. Thank you

We had two recessed lights converted to two pendant lights. From the request to review the project to its completion, everything went smoothly. The pricing seemed fair. I got three other estimates and Central Power's was very competitive. Eddie and his helper were punctual, neat and efficient. I would call them for future projects. read more

Look no further if you want the most reliable and best service in this city! We have American Homeshield and of course they couldn't get anyone to come out right away, not to mention- most of their service companies are not the greatest. Half our electricity wasn't working in our house late this afternoon. Most importantly our air conditioning, along with ceiling fans and various other lights. I decided to look on yelp and not wait for AHS. Seeing as Central Power, along with George, had great reviews, I called at @6pm tonight and George was here by 7pm!!! Found the problem pretty quick-one of our outlets had neutral ground ( I think I'm saying this correctly) and my hubby was the culprit as earlier he had tried replacing the outlet as our washing machine wasn't working. George was so professional and kind and had everything fixed and replaced in less than an hour! He was very thorough as he also checked our outside breakers and all other additional outlets too. Highly recommended, hands down-and the price was extremely reasonable. We have found our new go to electrician-we don't care that AHS doesn't cover! Do not call anyone else. Thank you so much George. read more

These guys are just great! I called him a week ago to get a quote to wire correctly a 3-way switch in my kitchen and he explained to me that the job could be as easy as rewiring the switch or as complicated as changing a whole bunch of stuff. He kept it honest which I appreciate when you don't know a thing about electrical matters : ) We made an appointment, he got there on time, change the switch and the problem was solved. I texted Central Power and several other companies pictures of my old light fixture, new fixture, area, and height. I received an emailed quote that night, while other companies were still figuring out when they could send someone out for a visual and quote. The 2 man crew arrived 3 days later and installed my new fixture. They were professional, friendly, and they made sure I was happy with their work. Completed and paid, and all before the other companies sent someone out for a quote. Good job Central Power! read more

Very responsive, and surprisingly affordable. Found them after the electrician that my home warranty company sent was of no use. The fluorescent lighting in my laundry room went out, and tried to replace them with LED bulbs, and it was still having the same flickering problem. The electrician from the home warranty company just said that LED fluorescents weren't compatible with my light fixture, and to replace it back with standard fluorescents. Didn't really go in and do anything at all. Changed the lightbulbs again, and it was still having the same issue. Since it was out of the scope of the home warranty contract, they couldn't fix the root of the issue. Then I found Central Power on Yelp. Called them around 12:30, sent them my address, and they were here after 2 PM. Was amazed that they came the same day. They replaced the ballast in the light fixture in less than 30 minutes. Was surprised how affordable the service was. Could've saved some money if I just booked directly with them instead of hiring some sketchy electrician through the home warranty. But now I know. Will definitely use Central Power for future electrical needs. It's so nice to find reliable technicians in town. read more

Still venting... I filed a claim with my home warranty company and Central Power LLC (CP LLC) was sent to my home. Told me that the electrical box was not wired properly. Provided me with a verbal quote that would cost me $500 to fix the wiring for the AC and for the re-wiring to the mini-split, he guessed that it would cost upwards of $5,000. Almost had a heart attack. He updated my warranty claim and it was rejected by my home warranty. So, I had to pay this myself. No problem with this since it was not originally wired properly by the original AC/Electrician guy in 2010. Which is correct. Fortunately, I reached out to 2 other Electricians independently and both told me that Central Power LLC was wrong. Both electicians stated that Central Power LLC guy probably didn't check the the ampage. And, CP LLC gave a quote in the ridiculous range... They laughed about it... The ampage for my current wire is 60 amps. The AC takes 30 amps and the mini-split takes 18. Hence, they used only 48. They installed one box with two breakers 40/20 split. It cost me only $690. Glad I didn't call Central Power LLC. It would have cost me over $5,000.. Would not recommend. read more

Called them up to get an estimate, we had a miscommunication at one point and George made up for that the next day by arriving with his electrician Eddie. We agreed on the work to be done and price and set up for the next time I wad off. The day of install they arrived on time and gave me another fair estimate for another ring camera install. I would have to say 100% hands down I trust them and glad I gave them a second shot. I posted pictures of the work done. Very clean job and professionally done! read more
