Everyone was so helpful with amazing communication. Andrew, my electrician, was extremely thorough with explaining the process, step by step, of what he was doing - keeping me in the loop. He located the issue, fixed it, even making sure to take preventative measures for the surrounding area. The price was very fair as well! As veterans, and with me being a retired law enforcement officer, my husband and I would not recommend this company based on our experience. My husband called Eco Electric because two outlets in our kitchen were not working. We expected to pay the standard service call fee, which was around $60 and possibly, if needed, $289 diagnostic fee. The electrician, Andrew "Drew", arrived and my husband explained the problem. Andrew gestured toward an area of the kitchen and said the issue was probably there, referring to where the GFCI outlet was located. However, before performing any diagnostic work or even checking the outlet, he had my husband sign an agreement authorizing a $289 diagnostic charge. Andrew then stepped outside, came back in, walked directly to the area he had pointed out earlier, moved a medicine box that was blocking a GFCI outlet we didn't even realize was there, and simply pressed the reset button. The outlets immediately started working. At that point, my husband asked if the diagnostic charge was still necessary since the problem had already been resolved. Andrew told him the charge still applied because he had already signed the paperwork, even though the issue had been fixed before any actual diagnostic work had taken place. That is what left us feeling misled. Our concern has never been about paying for honest work or a legitimate diagnostic. Our concern is that we were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic fee before basic troubleshooting was performed, and once the simplest possible fix restored power, we were still expected to pay the full diagnostic charge simply because the paperwork had already been signed. Andrew seemed like a nice person, but that doesn't change how the process was handled. I don't know whether the technicians are paid on commission or another type of incentive, but as a customer, the process felt dishonest and misleading. My husband later spoke with Bill, who I believe was the manager or someone in a supervisory role. Unfortunately, my husband found him dismissive and defensive of the complaint. He didn't seem interested in truly listening and even interrupted my husband before he had finished explaining what had happened. To Bill's credit, he said he would speak with Andrew to hear his side of the story and call my husband back. When Bill called back, he did agree to reduce the charge by $100, which we appreciated. During that conversation, my husband explained that, going forward, their technicians should provide a more thorough explanation and perform basic troubleshooting before asking customers to authorize expensive diagnostic charges. Otherwise, the process can leave customers feeling misled and can come across as deceptive. What was especially disappointing was reading the comments Andrew entered on our invoice afterward. He (Bill or Andrew) wrote that the customer "was not happy with having to pay for the diagnostic" and that he "wouldn't be able to work with him again." That is simply not an accurate representation of what happened. Our complaint was never about paying a fair diagnostic fee. Our concern was the lack of communication, the order in which things were handled, and the misleading process. We were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic charge before the most basic troubleshooting step--checking and resetting the GFCI outlet--was even attempted. Once that button was pressed, the outlets worked immediately. We appreciated the $100 reduction, but that doesn't change how this experience was handled or how our concerns were documented afterward. As veterans, my husband and I expect honesty, transparency, and integrity from the companies we hire. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations, and we will not be using or recommending Eco Electric in the future. read more

Speechless!!!. The guy came out, attempted to install ring cameras for my new home. Didn't /couldn't finish the job. Called a 2nd Eletrician (didn't tell us about it). Chargeing us $810 for attemping to install 3 ring cameras in 3 hours. We needed 6 ring cameras to be installed. $810 for 3 hours is ridiculous. Somehow the previous review didn't get posted I forgot all about this company. Omg. Total night mare. The guy came out for $60. Quoted $288 simply to exam one ceiling fan because it stopped working. And the repair will be additional on top of it. OMG. Thank god I sent him away and located my old memory. They also charge 4% on the credit card. read more

The Electrician was meeting with one of our guys to do an Overhaul on the unconnected switches to our System. I did an audit of our lights in our office recently. So, the lights were replaced by our Maintenance manager. But the electrical stuff needed an expert. Looks like we found one. Angel was great. He got to working on it right away. There are some mystery switches. It's been a longtime problem for many years at my office (some of them were never attached to our Crestron system). He was able to fix some items right away. On the others, he'll need to order parts. And then also, another person will need to assist him, to assess one area too. It was a good start. read more

We had some issues with our garbage disposal that wasn't working, and it went from being a relatively easy solution to a bigger problem. I was able to get a new garbage disposal at Lowe's and my husband, and I were able to install the new disposal by ourselves. Once we had all of the parts hooked up, the disposal would not turn on. To make matters worse, I found out that my dishwasher would no longer powered on, so we thought maybe there was an electrical issue and not just with the garbage disposal. We attempted to troubleshoot the issue ourselves, as we simply reset the circuit breakers, but still could not resolve the problem. At this time, it appeared to be best to contact a licensed electrician, therefore we contacted Eco Electric to assess the electrical panel. The scheduling of their service was very easy and convenient. They were also able to arrive at our house within a short period of time, next day, which was greatly appreciated, since we had no power to the dishwasher area. Joe from Eco Electric came over to have a look. He checked the breaker and then found that the trouble was a circuit issue under the sink, and an outlet panel issue. Joe told me everything I needed to know about it, and after fixing the wiring, my kitchen dishwasher area had power again! Joe worked very quickly and efficiently. The disposal and dishwasher were both working properly, which was a big relief! Eco Electric were quick to respond, professional, easy to communicate with and they were able to quickly identify the problem. Spencer came out for two outlets that weren't working in my main bathroom. He arrived on time and was extremely friendly. He took the time to explain thoroughly what he would be doing to diagnose the issue. He inspected my main panel and tested the outlets throughout the house. It was determined that there was a cracked outlet in my backyard and that the GFCI outlet in the garage was going out. He replaced both and tested everything. I had Eco install a bathroom heater/exhaust ceiling fan. Robert provided a good bid for the project beating another electrician by about 20%. The installation, which included adding a 20amp circuit to the circuit breaker, was handled by Raymond and Christian. They took just 5 hours to do wire runs, install the fan and add the circuit. They were very neat and clean using plastic sheeting to protect the areas in which they worked. I would highly recommend Eco and will use them for all future electrical needs. read more

Service was requested to determine why 240volt plug a 5Oamp breaker kept tripping after 10 minutes. The Eco electric technician that was dispatched, Anthony, determined the issue immediately. After looking at the plug itself, he noticed parts of had a brown coloration instead of all black which indicated loose wiring. In addition, after opening the power panel, he noticed that there was also loose wiring for the 50amp breaker. He tightened up the wiring on the breaker. He noticed the 240volt plug was being used for EV charging but was the standard plug type for dryers and that a specific EV type plug is needed for home EV charging that is made to support many hours long use charging and also weather tolerant. So, I had him replace the standard 240 with an EV 240. I tested it and it worked doing several hours EV charging. read more

I needed a new 240v 50a circuit. Christian came out twice, first to evaluate, then afew days later to do the work. Initially I was concerned that they couldn't do it over the weekend, since I needed to work from home that day. However, Christian showed up on time, swapped out some breakers with tandem, popped in the new breaker, drilled a hole, ran conduit, and installed the outlet; all without affecting my power or internet and hardly made a sound.
