I'm very happy with the way my lighting installations went and the great customer service from Phil and his team. I started the process by messaging Anytime Electric through Yelp for a quote. Phil responded quickly with a phone number and asked if I could text photos of what I needed installed for a proper quote. Shortly after he sent a quote I was happy with and we scheduled an appointment. We scheduled for an early morning arrival to make sure the job could be completed in one day which I appreciate. The evening before Phil texted me to confirm our appointment. I love a good confirmation message so I know we're good to go. The morning of installation I had Alex (I hope I'm remembering his name right because he was great) at my door on time. He looked at the job and decided where to start. Soon after two more electricians arrived to assist him. All three were professional and worked efficiently. I had three chandeliers (including a two story foyer chandelier) and some kitchen lighting installed. It took them about 4 1/2 hours to complete the installation. All three were so respectful and kind. They all cleaned up after themselves as they worked. They even carried old fixtures and boxes to the garage for me. My house was not the wreck I thought it might be. Alex even asked if I had a pet before propping the front door open to bring in a large two story ladder. I think all pet owners can appreciate that someone wouldn't just leave a door wide open for a pet to run out. I wasn't sure how high I wanted the foyer chandelier so they let me take a look before it was secured to the ceiling. A major thing that made me happy with Anytime Electric was the "can do" attitude of the electricians. I've had several occasions where I call a company and the employee hems and haws trying to create reasons not to get the job done. These guys never did that and everything was seamless with the installations. My new foyer chandelier was heavier than the previous chandelier which required reinforcement from the attic. Since this was an additional $100 in labor they let me know ahead of time. All of the other installations remained the same as the original quote. All in our three chandeliers and one track light installation came to $650. Anytime Electric's service exceeded my expectations. I have some more minor lighting installations still to do and I'll be calling them for those as well. read more

Anytime Electric is great. They upgraded my recessed lighting (over 100 of them) to retrofit LED lights from incandescent. I have high ceilings at my house in Boulder City so I wanted professionals. They also replaced 9 ceiling fans with modern units, serviced an electrical panel and installed a few GFCIs. They do good work in reasonable time for a fair price. OKAYYYYY WOWWWW!! I just messaged a bunch of electricians for a quote on fixing some outlets in my bathroom (for some reason these outlets didn't work). Anyways, everyone got back to me with dollar figures ranging from $100-$300. Phil messaged me back, told me how to fix the issue myself and told me to save the $100. BEWARE OF THEIR ADDED FEES. I made an appointment for my in-home lighting and so they came and I addressed the issue. Once the quote was final, I saw that there were nonsense fees onto the price! Items such as "COVID Protection," and "Secure travel" which are idiotic excuses for them to charge even more for their already done service. Awesome company. I needed 2 things done. 1. I'm getting a Electric Car, so I needed a 240V wall outlet for my garage. 2. I needed a light fixture hung up over my dining room table. I called several companies and they were half the cost of any other company. Alex showed up to my house about 2hrs behind schedule. Even though that was a little frustrating, his work and respectfulness made up for it. We booked an appointment more than a week in advance to just install some ecobee thermostats. That is a quick, easy job for an electrician. The service window was 11 am to 2 pm. The job was at my father's and I took off work and drove across town. We waited until just before the window was up and called. They let us know they were running about 90 minutes behind. We cancelled not just because they were late but because they were cavalier with our time and did not tell us they were behind. We wasted 5 hours of our day -- 3 hours waiting and two hours driving so we could wait. If you have all day to wait, they might be fine. If you need someone reliable, use someone else. After I wrote the above I received a call from Anytime offering to make up the service by installing the ecobees at a discount. I appreciated the call and the effort. But the bottom line is we waited for hours and wasted a lot of time and a discount on future work (will they be on time?) doesn't help. We declined the offer and will use another service. EDIT: In response to the note below I will just add that while I did not call Anytime, I did call Amazon (I booked through Amazon) and Amazon called Anytime while I was on the line. It was 3 minutes after that when I received a call from the tech letting us know that he should make it by 3:30, not betw 11 am and 2 pm. The company who cleans my pool highly recommended Anytime Electric. Alex came in and hung our chandeliers and also fixed a botched electrical job from an electrician from TaskRabbit. One glance and he saw that it was wired wrong and corrected it, then all our Lutron lights actually dimmed correctly and shut off completely with no flicker. Also, one of our pennant lights was too small for the can light conversion. I had purchased the wrong conversion kit. He volunteered to purchase the correct one from a local home improvement store so we could finish it up that day. It wasn't a simple one an electrician would carry in his toolbox. Above and beyond customer service! Anytime Electrical staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. I have them coming back to do more projects. My husband and I decided to move our entry light into the center of the room vs it being right by the entry door. We also wanted to add ceiling lights to 4 other rooms. Based on reviews and pricing we went with Anytime Electric. His workers came to do the job and they spent quite a while measuring and adjusting. They also had to redo the wiring which took a while which was on the worker. The chandelier did have the chains messed up a bit which they took about 15 to fix but one of the guys spent some time on his phone and wasn't helping much. So the job took a bit longer. The workers wanted to wait for him to make sure that the placement was good but Phil seemed to be super annoyed and when he came he had a total attitude and then told me that his workers wouldn't have time to do the other rooms and to hurry up and finish. Then he scolded me for asking the workers to adjust the chains on the chandelier and that he didn't charge me extra but completely ignored the fact that the workers were waiting for him for a long time to show up and also that they messed up on the wiring. They also left a terrible mess in my guest bathroom sink cover in black dirt with dirty paper towels. They had to come back the following week to do the lights in the other rooms. I was also told by Phil that if the workers were here for more than 6 hours I would be charged extra. Like it's my fault they can't do their job efficiently or that I'm in control of how the house was built. They took a long time to do two of the rooms because the light switch plates were metal inside. Also one of the guys disappeared for a while so he wasn't helping the other one. I was getting super nervous as they had our loft to do and they've been here for 5 hours. Well they rushed the last room and now we the placement is off and looks terrible. I also left a message to Phil asking some questions but I never heard back from him. He is terrible at returning messages or calls and has a nasty attitude. Also blames the customer for longer times. As a professional you should expect some longer times especially if a house is built a a certain way. Ok I do take ownership of the extra 15 minutes they spent fixing my chandelier but if I could do it myself or reach it I would fix it myself. Our entryway is a two story entryway and we can't reach it easily. Main thing is that they rushed the last room and now we have the fan located in a bad spot. Oh and the workers left the guest bathroom sink black yet again and with paper towels thrown on the counter. I also asked if they can please take a quick look at the outdoor light fixture to see if we can put a fan there but they were not allowed to and I still haven't gotten a call back. It's ok I'll ask someone who's more professional and doesn't treat his customers so badly. We tipped the workers nearly $100. Wish we didn't as we have a messed up light placement, had a dirty sink left behind and no responses to questions. The workers did take their time in placement of the entryway chandelier and made sure I was happy with it. The extra star is for them. Do not recommend unless you want to be treated like crap and have anxiety on how long it takes them to do the work. You would think they never installed lighting. Terrible. read more

First let me say . Phil is straightforward honest guy . Gave me a ball park figure online quote and then when he came it was on the lower end! I need 220v for a dryer . Had to run and get a part which I gave him the wrong info for . So he had to turn around and go back . Most guys would immediately charge you more .His attitude stayed the same (good) I did end up tipping him for my stupidity .
