The book also advertised colors in a particular way that did not translate to the dip color I picked out - what was supposed to be a rosey mauve was more coral, so she colored it with a darker shade of gel that is still very far from what their display nails depicted. All in all, I feel like my nails look sloppy and far from what I envisioned. It is a bummer to keep driving to Franklin for a manicure, but this did not feel worth the time or money. The nail techs were kind, but I experience far better attention to detail at the one I go to normally (but my regular nail tech is currently out of the country).

When they handed me the menu of pedicures we chose the base $40 pedicure. We did upgrade to gel but we always do that and it's never more than $100 for a base pedicure with gel for the two of us. I ended up paying $140 with tip and the receipt they print out is not itemized so you can't tell what they are charging you for and it's really tiny print. wish this place was more affordable because it was really cute and very close to where we live but we will be trying somewhere else next time because I can't afford to spend outrageous prices like that.

Everything from the customer service, the dishonesty of the services and pricing, and the appearance of the salon were horrific. DISHONEST PRICING: I was charged 115 dollars (Plus a 20 dollar tip I added before I went home and realized how overcharged I was, although I was suspicious), for the more expensive mani/ pedi combo, which is listed at $88 total. I did not order, nor receive ANY extras, yet they overcharged me by almost 30 dollars! Not only that, but the service I got states on the menu that it includes foot and hand massages, and longer massages than the basic as well, and they didn't massage my feet and hands at all! My niece also had a large overcharge from what's listed on the menu, which I will further explain. **WARNING***: They have cuticle trims listed as "extras," among other things. They will charge you for it on top of your mani and/or pedi price. Yet on their MENU prices, the mani and pedis listed say the cuticle trims are included!! I've never in my life been to a salon where a mani and/or pedi don't include a cuticle trim, and even when it says they include it on the menu, down below it's listed as an extra... and they'll add that charge on! They are basically making up prices as they go, and skipping parts of services you pay for. We are not the first customers to have this happen. We discovered it after the experience. These people are SHADY. MORE DISHONEST PRICING: They not only significantly overcharged my very young niece also (who innocently tipped, because like myself, she didn't realize the huge discrepancies in price then what is listed until we rechecked at home), but when she went back and complained about being overcharged in person AND because her one of her very expensive French tips done there had cracked, NO apology was offered. They were actually angry we came back (less than a week after the incident) to address their dishonesty, and were very aggressive about it. The manicurist behind the front desk that we discussed this with in person stomped off. As she did, she angrily said she was busy with a customer when my niece and I addressed the situation. The manicurist who did her French manicure with tips told my niece on the phone she'd have to pay yet another charge to get her cracked nail that split 4 days after her service fixed. I cannot believe she tried to rip her off even more in person even AFTER we cited the price dishonesty on top of the shoddy work. She was nasty about the entire situation, and did not apologize. Instead, she made a face at me and a dismissive hand gesture, when I told her the behaviour and pricing were unacceptable. I firmly told her none of this was okay, and that I'd be sure to report it to the BBB and write reviews on social media. She didn't care. She is a woman past mid-life, and the other female staff member working (that threw a fit behind the front desk) was not young. I'm pointing this out, because clearly they have been scamming people for some time. The salon itself is nothing but a few concrete rooms with few decorations, and cheap furniture.
