Listen... I am all about paying money for my nails i do it every month but i'm about done with Fancy Nails. I don't understand how I go in and show someone a picture of what I want and they some how do the complete opposite. This has happend multiple times and i'm just over it. I also ask for a color change on my toes and i'm in the chair for not more than 15 minutes and i'd be damned if I get charged 35 dollars plus tip. No thank you that is ridiculous. read more

Nice spot. It's a good idea to make an appointment, this place seems very busy, so busy that I felt the employees were in a huge hurry. The cleanliness is off the charts, yay for that. The decor is nice and updated and parking is super easy. Give it a try, you might get a time when they aren't in a hurry. read more

Such a nice place but so rushed. I asked for more than a basic pedicure and they said not today. Has happened a few times. Best pedicure and massage I've found in Franklin, but the employees rush through. Pedicure in under 30 mins. I was willing to pay for something longer, but they said next time. read more

I had high expectations since I've heard good things. It must have just been the nail tech I got but I did not have a good experience. I had an appointment that was made 2 days prior but had to sit and wait for someone to be free. Then was in and out within 20 minutes because the girl doing my nails had to do someone else at the same time. No nail prep was done and she completely filed my nails to nubs when I asked for them to just be rounded out. The finished product was left with dusty crusty cuticles because no after care was done either. Mind you I spend $55 before tip. What I got was not worth the price. The dip looks fine after picking off all the extra left around my nails but I'm very very disappointed in the whole experience. read more

Came for my fourth visit to Fancy Nails today and another appointment with Lou as my nail technician . I really liked Lou and thought I had found my go to nail salon. My first two visits, I was really pleased with my manicures (even though the dip manicure didn't go all the way to the edge of my nails.) The third manicure however started to split in less than a week. One nail on my left hand cracked right down the middle in less than a week and two nails on my right hand split a week later. Today's appointment, the color on one hand is so much lighter than the other and when I asked a question I was brushed off. So I walked out unhappy. His next client was waiting for him (what appeared to be a long time regular because the children of the staff ran to her and sat in her lap) and I felt rushed out. This isn't the first time I have felt shut down at a nail salon by staff not interested in my concerns, I just moved here from New York City and that is the only treatment I received there. I take pride in where and how I spend my money, it is no small thing for me to treat myself to a manicure once a month and perhaps a pedicure on occasion and I would like find a salon where I will be treated like a valued customer and my customer concerns are welcomed and respected. read more

Great experience here! COVID precautions are totally in place, so I felt completely comfortable during my service. Was easy to book for the time I needed and the service itself was excellent. I always get gel and am super OCD about lining it with my cuticle. My nail technician did such a good job with lining the gel properly so it was neat and straight next to my cuticle. I really like this place and the people there. Family owned and managed. I tend to go in right as they open to assure that there won't be a wait. They're very thorough with the manicures and pedicures and include a nice massage and hot towels with each. They even break out newly packaged nail tools for each client, so you know they're clean. So Fancy nails is the 10th nail salon I have tried in franklin since moving to Tennessee from Chicago - I have had some whopping crazy bad experiences with these places and fancy nails is now on my NEVER AGAIN list because although I was pleased to meet Tina who was very sweet - my acrylic nails were made so thin 3 broke within 4 days - nothing like touching skin and leaving painful scratches from broken jagged acrylic - it say cheaper in reviews but it's not because they just don't bother to SEAL the acrylic to keep it from yellowing or making it stronger unless you pay extra - which they said my nails will last long time ( no they won't) today I have to file down or clip and file most of my pink and white because I only have the car once a week to get to salons etc and well the jaggedness from breakage could do damage to my skin , others not to mention my clothing -bye bye FN read more

As soon as I walked in, I observed that all COVID-19 protocols were in place. Masks were required & worn by staff & customers, my temperature was checked & I was asked to wash my hands with hand sanitizer. I was very relieved & comfortable with their high standards and attention to safety for all. There was a plastic shield protector in place at the chair station. I was very pleased with the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff & quality of my spa pedicure. Their prices are very reasonable. After relocating from the Chicago suburbs and loved my nail salon there, I was nervous. I get the Dip Nails and LOVE them even more. I see Amanda, she takes her time, she's super sweet and my nails look awesome. My nails have lasted 3 weeks(2 times and counting now), no problems at all! Very clean facility as well. I got a set of acrylics done here. Started off as a great experience until I went back to my hotel and noticed a hair under the top coat of polish on one nail then later that evening one of my nails just snapped off. I went in before heading out of town to go home to hopefully get a refund and they were unable to refund me. Told me I should have asked for thicker acrylic since my set of nails was so long. Definitely not my job to tell them how to use acrylic. Paid $70 dollars to not even have my nails last 2 days very disappointed. read more

I have always had a good experience at Fancy Nails. They are very clean and use the plastic liners in the foot spa which I love! They are very busy and not enough workers so you do have to wait usually unless you've made an appointment. But, it is worth the wait! read more

I went to Fancy Nails for the first time in June 2020 for a manicure and pedicure and was very impressed with my experience! The entire staff was incredibly kind, they had very efficient and safe COVID procedures, and my regular manicure lasted almost two weeks without chipping which is unheard of for my nails! This was the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. Spent two hours in there and clearly the person doing my nails was not trained or not trained properly. They checked if my toes were dry and smudged them then redid them and two hours later they've smudged again...Now that there are so many layers of nail polish. Take your money elsewhere. AWFUL!!!! I am a in the customer service/salon industry as well and I am so upset with the way I was treated by the owner and staff. I paid $60+ for a full set of nails plus gel French over the top, tipped well and left happy. Two days later I had 4 chipped and broken nails plus they turned yellow and the white chipped off of the remaining nails. I do not lay in a tanning bed so I have no idea why they turned yellow. I called to ask if they could fix and the owner tells me no at first bc she says it's been too long. I explain repeatedly that it's only been two days. The next day, I am passing by the salon (I don't live close) and I have my 3 children with me so I can't get them fixed but I run in and show her the chipping and yellowing just so she can see them and understand why I want them fixed. She tells me to come back anytime to have them fixed. I and a mom of three with a full time job and never have time for myself. Today, I randomly had a small window of time and stopped by hoping to get them fixed. I have currently been sitting here waiting for 40 minutes and when I asked how much longer it would be she said "i have to take care of paying customers and I get to you later." I just asked for my money back so that I can go somewhere else and get them done and she refused. She told me that they never gerund money and I will just have to wait. Then another employee (a man) chimes in and starts arguing with me about how "I want them to drop all the other customers and take me first" which is something I NEVER said. I will NEVER be back and I will tell everyone I know to go elsewhere. Horrible, horrible business practice and customer service. And I am not a complainer. I know how hard it is to work with the public and I never once got angry or mad or lost my temper. Just want the mistake be made right and clearly it's not. Terrible people and place. read more
