I took my daughter for her first manicure and Vivian and Kat were amazing! They gave her snacks while my nails were being done, took her to the bathroom when my nails were still drying and I couldn't, and only charged me for regular polish but gave her gel polish because she was so wiggly. The first time I went to this salon I had 10/10 experience everything was over and beyond. Second time I went back. 2/10. I will not come back to this salon. Pedicure was bare minimum, paint bubbled before I even left. Had to get them to redo it and even after they redid it. It chipped. Sounds like I had some watered down paint. I've been coming to Ombré for a while now and always have had a good experience. But the last few months have been horrible. The two most recent times: I got a pedicure just the other day and the nail tech answered his phone during my appointment FOUR times stopping the pedicure to talk whoever was calling then kept getting up and walking away on the phone. I was a walk in at 9:15am. Regular manicure. Johnny neither treated nor pushed back my cuticles and ignored my twice mentioned request to trim my left hand nails. He rushed through the whole process like he had a bus to catch, with zero drying between coats, and then deposited me at the drying station while I watched him sit and scroll on his phone for the next 15 minutes. Pedicure was awesome, but when switched to another person for dip nails they were cut extremely too short & were super thick (even after I asked her to make them thinner). I came in with regular length nails, not long but not super short, and left with stubby. Even the lady checking me out at the front voluntarily said "oh, too short!" to which I responded, "I know I was hoping they'd be longer." but she still charged me full price. Everyone raves about this place and came back after just so/so service and nails. I always like to give places a couple of chances. First time was pre Covid & waited over an hour (was told 30 min)...Today walked in at 10am and told 15 min wait time. Finally left with my daughter. It's 10:45am. Two girls walked in after us both helped first. No appts. They were walk ins also. I'm not sure what or why but don't have an hour to wait and then an hour for nails for walk in. Just he honest with people about wait times. We have waited almost an hour and no nails. Sad to leave a negative review amidst COVID but lots of people working so not sure why the miscommunication. read more

I'm from Atlanta and came in town to visit my mother and had one of the worst SNS nail services I've had in a long time. My nails are not even sizes and one nail is completely crooked and I've never seen a technician just find a reason to leave it rather than fix it. I went today and had a pedicure and gel manicure. I needed to ask twice to make the pedicure water hotter. The woman that did my pedicure was too aggressive with the trimming of the big toes. I get ingrown nails but she took the scapula and trimmer and cut down to the quick. Then it was time for the gel manicure. She again was too aggressive with the cuticle trimming and caused 2 of my nails to bleed, she had to put on the blue antiseptic solution. I live in the area but don't plan to visit again. Next time I'll make the drive to Brentwood. I hate to give a negative review but this was not relaxing whatsoever. read more

I went in today to get my nails done and a girl named Ann I believe did my nails she was way to aggressive,she rushed my nails, I have so many dips in my nails, she didn't even trim my nails, the French tips are to fat after multiple times of me telling her I don't like how fat they are. The way she kept grabbing my wrist was way to ruff and instead of telling me "hey can you give me your hand or move your hand" she grabbed my hand and moves it herself very ruff. When I went to pay the girl up front kept trying to tell me I like them after I said no I don't like them I told her the lady who did my nails was way to aggressive and she didn't even say anything. She charged me $75 for a French tip when I usually pay $65 there if I were you I'd ask the guy that wears a Nike shirt he also wears glasses I love how he does my nails but I don't think I'll be going there anymore. read more

Visited after they reopened and I was super impressed by the measures they're taking to ensure social distancing and keep customers and staff healthy! They have plexiglass dividers at all the nail stations, and dividers between groups at the pedicure chairs. I was SO happy to be able to get a manicure after so many weeks in lockdown. The polish barely chipped, but you can tell the top layer was done extremely poor. Hey guys, it's Mr. Nail Polish back at it again. I had chance to visit this shop again and BOY did it remind me of why I gave them a shot in the first place! My girl Kim took care of me today by giving me a very crystal clear gel manaicure. She cleaned my nails up perfectly from cutting my cuticle to shaping my nails. I love how meticulous she was as she polished and glossed my nails till she saw a Kool-Aid smile from ear to ear. So friendly and a wonderful conversationalist. The shop itself is very clean and staff gives exceptional service to its customers. If you have read my last reviews there are two things that I care about most and that is my nail length and my polish very glossy... Kim hit both ! This was my first time here and felt it was EXTREMELY overpriced. I get an acrylic fill-in with gel when I get my nails done. This usually costs $40-$50 at most. My nails are almond-shaped and I came in with them that way. Generally, salons charge for shaping if it has not been done yet. Because I wanted my nails filed shorter, they charged me for shaping, and I was charged $65 in total for these nails. The nails looked great but I could go anywhere for much cheaper. It is frustrating when you expect to pay $20 cheaper than what you get charged. read more

I didn't think spending over 3 hours getting my nails done was ideal. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and the first guy used acrylic powder instead of dip powder. So when it was all said and done he realized what he did. So he then asked the other guy, the owner, can he fix it. At this point I'm already late to all of my other appointments. He rushes to get it done because they are so busy for Mother's Day. It still is not the picture. It's so thick which is what I asked not to have. I asked for nude not pink. The first time looked nude but the redo looks pink. This place came highly recommended by one of my best friends. This is the only place she goes... I'm glad she has a great experience every time. But this was my first time and it was not great. After being here for over three hours and having to redo my nails and after cutting me while redoing because he was rushing through it... I still was charged premium full price. They charge extra five dollars for every little thing that you do on top of the price. So I ended up spending over $120 and it's still not what I asked for. It was a mess... I thought they would have discounted the nails since they were done incorrectly the first time, and especially when they weren't what I wanted the second time. I just didn't have time for them to redo it a third time. I hate being that person that doesn't like their nails but this whole experience was just not good...
