They have complimentary drinks and have comfortable seating when waiting. The rooms are nice and clean with a comfortable bed. Especially if you are getting more than one area waxed. All of the staff are welcoming, considerate of your needs, and polite. Concerning the negative reviews, no I have never been offered incentive to leave a good review. They let you look and give you a mirror to check if there are any hairs left on your body. If you see some speak up. I had a time, not with Micah, where I saw some hair and the esthetician was more than happy to wax that area. Pain? Seriously, it's a wax and they do hurt. Everyone's pain tolerance is different but they are in no control over your pain. Overall, I recommended this studio to many of my friends who have told me that they thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Not everyone's experience is the same, but I couldn't be happier with this studio and Micah.

" LOL Let me start this review off by saying that one's experience and spa, at any point... Should never feel rushed or make one on edge. It is taking me a long time to post this review, because I like to believe the best in people. I want to think that she was having a bad day... But I feel an obligation to let clients know what they're getting into. NOTE: I was going to send this in an email to the former owner, Lisa but unfortunately the spa is *SHOCKINGLY* under new ownership now. (I visited the salon on my last trip to TN last July.) Emmy started the facial at 12:48 and ended the facial at 1:22. I'm not great at time management, but I could tell she was rushing, and she cut it short. I asked Emmy if she did the micro dermabrasion near my milia's on my eyes and she said no I'm not gonna put scrub on your eyes. I understand the eye area is delicate. I have worked in several high and spas in resorts. These milia's were big enough to get to safely- I only made the appointment because I was told him I saw that the aesthetician would take care of them. Upon getting into the treatment room, after I laid down onto the bed and was greeted with a knock maybe 10 seconds after getting undressed- I felt rushed, pressured and uneasy. I just washed my hair, and when she started putting stuff in my face, I asked if she had a headband or towel to keep it out of my hair. Not only did she not have a headband in the room - when I requested one she said, "I think I have one out there.." (with the pregnant pause and subtext of "but I'm not going to go the extra mile." (When anyone who has gotten a facial or done one properly knows the hair must be out of a client's face.) My response: "Oh if it's far no worries..." She never got the headband and continued with her "facial." Emmy immediately told me she couldn't do a scalp massage and a hand massage (or she'd run out of time,) and I said "okay, great as long as you can do the extractions!" Emmy didn't explain at all what she was putting on my face while she was doing it there was no communication it was completely uncomfortable.. nor did she ask if I had any sensitivities or allergies. RED FLAG. Nor did she ask if I wanted oil in my hair for the scalp massage I asked Emmy to get rid of the milias on my cheeks initially, but upon leaving on my way out at the front on, (in the reception area because I noticed she either forgot or ignored my comment and my right cheek had redness and heavy irritation due to her poking at the milias and not finishing.) When I asked about the milias she avoided completely and the two she picked at..note: this was in the reception area she said "THAT'S TINY and I have another client.. so I have to go." Her response in the most uninterested/unprofessional and catty tone. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism I was given, not only because of my experience, working in spas and going to many ... But also because there were other clients and the reception area, as well as the (obviously nice but learning,) brand new receptionist. If I was the owner or manager at this establishment, I would be absolutely mortified. I was embarrassed on behalf of the owner because it's a really cute place. I'm leaving the review now because I'm back in Tennessee and I still have hyperpigmentation from where she picked at my milias

We had planned a girls day of shopping, nails, lunch and brows. Sheron was super sweet and communicative with scheduling the appt. We arrived a bit early and I texted Sheron to let her know. She greeted us at the door and escorted us in the room which was gorgeous. Very calm and soothing with plants, beautiful decor, calm music and it smelled great. It felt as we knew Sheron! We talked about getting older, music, spa things, products, etc. It was like hanging with a friend who does your brows. She did explain what she was doing with my friend and addressed her concerns and answered questions. I LOVED the result of the brow tint and wax and thought she did a beautiful job, I will be back for Sheron to do mine! I was given a pre paid discount when I left for those 2 services again next month. I never went back for the prepaid visit because I was not happy when I got home an saw the results. In October I noticed a charge on my CC for EWC and called them. On a recorded line Callie at this location explained that the location I went to was shut down and this location took over those client accounts. She looked up my account, and told me that the closed location had issues with unethical practices involving signing clients up for monthly services without their knowledge or by not fully explaining it as monthly. Callie explained they have been getting a lot of calls about this issue and assured me the manager will get it taken care of for me. 8 phone calls later (all recorded) getting the same run around and nothing being done I spoke again to the manager Keri Frank in mid November. She assured me that I should have a check in the mail by Dec 1 and if not email her at the EWC email address she supplied. Dec 15th I reach back out via phone and the location says they have no idea when she may be back in. After months of the run around I got tired of begging for money stolen from my account to be returned. They now refuse to call or email back and even refused to reply to the Better business Bureau. If you deal with this business only use cash. They can't take money without your knowledge or permission with cash. I spoke with Callie and Keri at the Franklin Tennessee location as well as Megan from Hendersonville. Services and fraudulent practices happened at the Antioch Tennessee location. If you have ever been to EXC double check your statements and make sure you were not one of the many that got signed up for things you did not consent to.
