Went in for a pedicure tonight. Sophia did a great job and the salon is very clean but was taken aback when a $20 fee was added for removing my gel polish. I had 1/2 inch strip (if that) of polish on each big toe and a sliver on my little toes. I had lifted all other polish off myself. At best, I'd be agreeable to pay $3 (and that's stretching it) but not $20. Be forewarned any remaining gel polish results in a $20 additional fee. read more

I needed to do an update to my review. Because the nail polish they used on me was amazing! The color was absolutely gorgeous and glossy, and 3 weeks later back at home, the color is not chipped or faded! I have never had a pedicure last this long! I definitely recommend Avanti Nail Spa! If I could give 10 stars I would! Joyce is amazing! She's so sweet. I picked a color that didn't necessarily match the bottle. She mixed polish to get match the swatch perfectly. Sadly, I'm on vacation here and won't be able to come back to her regularly but if I could I would. This is definitely my go to nail salon when I'm visiting. Everyone here is great. For real- everyone who works here is kind and professional and just wonderful! From dip to gel and pedis, I've never had a bad experience. 1 or 2 times that something may have been slightly less than perfect (like- the color not being what I expected or a particle of something ending up in the paint) they handle with care and concern. I traveled into the area for work & decided I needed a pedicure. Using Yelp I found Avanti (because it was close to my hotel) so I called to see if they could see me, since it was already 5pm. The guy who answered the phone was helpful & told me come on. When I arrived I met Joyce & she was the one who did my pedicure. She was great & my feet look fresh So all of that to say, if you are looking for a place to get a pedicure, I highly recommend Avanti & Joyce! read more

Set up an appointment with Vivian on Thursday afternoon. She was ready for me before I got there and had soooooo many colors of dip to choose from. She helped me pick out colors that would go well together, too! She was professional the whole time, making sure I was comfortable with the length and shape of the tips before we moved on. (She's pretty amazing with the almond shape, and not many nail techs are...) Vivian also made sure the nails were strong enough to withstand the rugged life I put them through. They are perfectly shaped, clean, shiny, and gorgeous! If you are looking for a new salon, go visit Vivian at Avanti and you will not be disappointed! I wanted to come back for a second review because the one I left back in 2017 was pretty harsh, but true. The new owners who have taken over this location are AH-MAZING!! Tina and her team are next level good. Vivian has been my tech the last 2-3 times and I can't say enough good things. Highly recommend this location if you got turned off by the previous ownership. I've been going to the same nail salon in Franklin since my 2017 disaster at the old Avanti, but now my loyalty is officially back! The salon has been completely renovated, new pedi chairs, nail stations, the works. VERY CLEAN. And all the regular, gel and dip colors you could ever want. read more

I have gone to Avani Nails for 15 years. This is the 3rd time going to Avanti since the new owners have taken over, they are very unprofessional and disrespectful. I had my daughters bridal party of 10 get manicures and pedicures and the only nails that were not ruined were the ones who got gel/dip. We were there for 2 hours and the girls nails never dried while there and still were not dry several hours later.The polish was cracking, it was so bad several of the girls went to the store after rehearsal and purchased fake nails. These new owners take no responsibility for anything and even laughed at me at one point while explaining that I just spent over 700.00 in their business, what a waste of money and there was no apology from the owner. I will never go back here and would suggest if you are reading this to look elsewhere. read more

I've been going here for years... And then I saw a few bad reviews and had to chime in. I'm incredibly picky because (this is silly, but i used to be a foot model in NYC and would get perfect pedicures for photo shoots paid for by the client). Of course not everyone is perfect, but I've found the manicurist I prefer and I request her every time. My fingernails stay exactly how I like them, shape and color . I use the dip for mani and I could literally go for a month... It grows out, but does not chip or peel off. If my girl is ever away and I use someone else, they don't mind if I point out an imperfection out polish on my cuticle etc. Also If I ever happen to hit something with one and break the nail, they'll touch it up again for free. read more

This nail spa is usually average but I got a bad experience the last time I went. I got the dipping gel and my nails are literally see thru. Also, the woman who did my nails sliced my finger when she was filing my nails. To top it off, when me and my mom went to pay, she took $20 cash as a tip even though it was supposed to go to pay for the nails. Would not return! read more

WORST GEL MANICURE I've ever had. The tech did my gel manicure in 30 mins, which usually takes about 45 mins to an hour compared to my past 10 years of experience. Filing was terrible, even after I shower her a picture of the square nails I wanted. Still round. I have gel polish all over my cuticles. 3 coats of funny bunny white polish and you can STILL see my nail underneath. $35 for gel nails that I could have done better myself. And forget about the massage. 4 strokes up and down one arm, shock my rest and on to the next arm. This place is a complete joke. I actually wanted to laugh out loud when I realized she was done. I am always happy with the service at Avanti. I have been a customer for many years and like the job they do so well, I drive from Smyrna to get pedicures. I've tried a few other places, Green Hills and Smyrna, and have never found a salon that does the job as well as Avanti. To speak to Good C's review - I have never found the employees at Avanti to be rude or disrespectful. Everyone is pleasant and smiling. They do occasionally carry on conversations with one another in their own language, but that doesn't bother me. I would never assume that I am the topic of conversation just because a language I don't speak is being used. Even if I were the topic of conversation, who cares? read more

My gel nails started to ship with in five days. They only reason they got an extra star was because they had a kid chair for my daughter.

I had a great experience here! I was on my hour lunch break and they put gel on and changed the polish on my toes. I had 20 mins to spare and they did a great job! It's a quiet and somewhat small salon. I will be back!! read more

This is the only place I ever go to get a pedicure. They go an extra step and use hot stones on your legs, and it is amazing. There's an older gentleman who seems to have a lot of repeat (by appt) customers. He has never done my nails. One of the younger guys did mine once & my daughter's once, and I do think the women did a better job on my polish. My polish lasts SO much longer than other places I have been in the past. My daughter also enjoys a manicure from them. I have several friends that go here, as well (that's how I heard about them). I don't get acrylic nails, so I can't comment on that service, but otherwise they have always been great! In fact, I'm not sure I've ever been in when someone was getting acrylics.
