I have mixed feelings about Spring Nails. PROS -Friendly staff. The lady who painted my nails was incredibly sweet, and the girl who waxed my eyebrows was good natured. -Fast service. I made an appointment and as soon as I walked in I was in a chair and my nail tech was ready. At other places even if I arrive on time for my appointment I have to wait a half hour or more. -Great selection of colors. There was a bin full of gel colors for me to pick from, I wasn't hurting for choice. -Offered a free drink which is always nice. -The salon is pretty and clean. CONS -Not COVID safe. At the manicure bar I was sitting shoulder to shoulder with other customers, about as close as you would typically sit next to another passenger on a plane. There were no separators between me and the nail tech, and the tech next to mine didn't have her mask up. We were so cramped that at one point someones acrylic nail clipping flew into my drink. Gross! -Painful. My nail tech cut my fingers and toes several times, even clipping my skin with the nail clipper nowhere near my nail. Every time I said "ow!" and she never acknowledged it. Have been coming here for 5 years. She had quickly filed my nails and I asked for them to be shorter to match the pinky bc I usually like them short!. She got an attitude and cut them all extremely fast when I looked down the thumb looked like that? Then she kept telling me I asked for that either way it didn't match the rest and she ruined my nail which I hadn't cut in probably a month anyways so it was in nice long shape ready for good manicure before. If I could give zero stars I would!!! This place had decent reviews so my fiancé and I thought we would try it out since we were in Franklin. They laughed because her nails were so short then painted all over the tips of her nails and blamed it on her nails being so short. The guy didn't care at all. She asked for him to trim a piece of skin and he just pushed it under her nail and kept painting. My guy was decent but literally a week later and every single nail peeled off with no problem! 1 WEEK!! That's crazy I've had gel last well over 2 weeks and had to go in to get it removed. I would give this place ZERO STARS if I could!! It is literally the WORST nail salon I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and literally never go here. I did a polish change for gel and Erik literally used TWO tools. A nail file and a small buffer. It was really BUMPY and he even MISSED the side of one my nails. On my thumb, he used so much polish that it was BUBBLY and I could tell it would PEEL in just a few days. I asked if they could fix it but it took him SO LONG to come back out. I was so mad that no one even cared that I was happy with them. I was uncomfortable and just wanted to get out of there so I paid and left but realized I shouldn't pay for something I'm not happy with!! I went back 5 MINS LATER to ask for a refund. The lady at the front didn't even recognize me asking when I got my nails done. I told her what happened and she yells at him across the room saying "why would you not back to help her?!" So he said "well she just left!" And I said "you took so long to come back so I left." He came up to me and he said "well a color change means your nails ARE NOT GOING TO BE 100% PERFECT so we're not going to give you a refund because we did them." Like WTF am I paying you for them? Why does a polish change mean I get bumpy nails? I could've just painted them myself? Like seriously? Was recommended by a friend to come to spring nails, she's been coming for years. Unfortunately my experience was not great. Made an appointment days in advance with someone specific but last minute, I got put with someone else. The entire time it felt rushed, I've had MANY appointments and this was nothing like I'd ever experienced before. Was not relaxing at all, like you'd hope when treating yourself to getting your nails done. Left with glue (got dip) all over my fingers, when I mentioned it, the nail tech looked annoyed. Within the first 36 hours, the dip was already cracking and coming off. For what I paid, it should be lasting at least 3 weeks before I start to notice imperfections. I had asked for a manicure along with my dip service, apparently that's only nail cutting and cuticle cutting for $15. For $25, you can get lotion and massage & that's on top of the dip service itself. For $75 dollars you'd think the experience would be good. Very disappointed and most definitely will not be coming back. read more

I've never had him do my nails, Kelly Wright said he was great the other day with her deep green dip so I booked him. I've never been rude or mean, I always tip $15 on a $45 service, I don't complain, so I just don't understand why I was refused service - I normally book with Lily or Erik but I didn't know if Erik would be back yet or not hence why again I was referred to Bin. To be honest this is so embarrassing I don't even think I'll be able to show my face there again, but I would just like to know what I've done to offend to be refused service. If I have ever done anything I profusely apologize. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day. Owner- I never said anything was wrong. He told me he was uncomfortable doing service for a male client , I have to respect my technician's requests. While there are plenty of other tech that will take care of your service. They do take walk ins and have comparable prices to neighboring salons. Poor selection of normal paint, but HUNDREDS of colors of gel and dip! They will tell you wait 5 minutes but it was actually be 20, so walk in only if you have time. Some unclean tendencies in my manicure (someone else's nail clippings and filings were all over the counter and towel to rest was stained) and had to correct the shape, had to ask to paint closer to cuticle. No hot towels for my manicure so they told me to walk to go get my own paper towels lol. Really thorough and pretty regular pedicure though. read more

I originally came to the shop for pedicures but then I went and got nails for a work conference and the rest is history! I love the people, atmosphere, and music! They serve wine or water as well. Johnny is amazing and he does all of the designs or funky nails! If you're looking for something original book with him but he does book quickly so do weeks in advance. Took my daughters for an impromptu, nail day, I yelped and landed here. The reviews were all 5 star, so of course expectations were set. Decor (+); Friendly (+); Color option(+); Wait Time (-); Service (-); Experience (-)... Walked in lovely facility and the regular customers were all lovely people and a joy to talk with as the wait time (for some at least) exceeded an HOUR and service time took 2.2 hours; so we spent almost 3 hours at the nail spa and no massage (oh my). POSITIVES: The decor is lovely, people friendly, provided water to clients, the staff was nice (but an disruption occurred at checkout when a client wasn't clear on the price for services) NEGATIVES: (1) Bathroom light (not working) so you had to potty in the dark or with the door ajar. (2) Multi-tasking and bouncing between clients on nails extended service time for the 1st client, like being left under the dryer while the stylist washes and sets the next client (ugh) (3) Nails gel powder was all over the cuticles and edges of one of my daughters (see #2 as to why). (4) Experience not good with over 3 hours spent for the service. As I trust yelpers, every facility has its day, but unfortunately that day was not theirs. read more

I've been here a few times and the service has deteriorated. The last time I went I went for a pedicure and dip. My pedicure was rushed as more people started coming in. They didn't even clean under my nails and passed the sponge on half of my heel. Then I told them to cancel my dip because they took people as they were coming in and I would have to wait for it to be done. They were speaking back an forth to each other and giving me a dirty look. Finally I asked what's wrong and they questioned why I was canceling. When I told her because I did not have time to wait she slammed my receipt down and didn't even say thank you. My money can spend elsewhere. They are rude and act like they're doing you a favor. There were far too many people in the salon and there was no social distancing. We still went in and got them done. Once they were done they looked okay. They were a little bumpy and uneven but not the worst I've gotten. After a week and a half they were already coming off. When I took the one on my thumb off, the fake nail was completely stuck to my nail and wasn't coming off. I had to have my dad cut the nail off the clump of glue that was stuck to my finger. Today I was told about this place by a friend and decide last minute to bite the bullet and to get my nails redone (twice within a week time frame full price). It was the best decision ever. I have been unhappy at my regular salon the last couple of times and was looking for a new place. I decided to give Spring Nails a try last week based on their reviews. I wanted something a little more special and decided to try the glitter and chrome. I had a great experience and the staff asked lots of questions and made sure my finished nails came out like I wanted. The next day I noticed the chrome was wearing thin on the tips of my nails. I went by and Johnny explained that can happen with that technique. He offered to touch them up for me. I explained my event was not for another week and he suggested coming in today so it would be fresh. I went in today and not only did they touch them up, they completely repainted the nails so they would look perfect for my event! I had a good experience with one guy who I can't remember the name of but the lady I had made fun of my short thin nails and had an attitude the whole time she was doing my nails. She scolded me when SHE made a mistake dipping my nails and smudged the powder and she also applied a lazy layer of topcoat that had dust and hair in it. She thought she was being funny when she told me that my color I picked out was not favorable to work with and was ugly and overall her disposition made me feel uncomfortable.
